Thank you Jennifer and Patty for sharing such a lovely space! Finding the location of the BnB, as well as our check-in process went very smoothly. Patty, who helped us throughout our stay, showed us to our very clean and spacious room while sharing some recommendations for the area. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy Charlestown and beyond, supporting local businesses (bars, restaurants, and bait shop to rent kayaks) along the way. She even let us borrow some beach chairs! The bnb is quiet and charming, a perfect getaway for couples and families alike. So grateful for their hospitality, hope to visit soon :)

Room was exactly as described, very quaint, very comfortable! The entire B&B was very quiet, no noisy guests or disruptions. Such a peaceful stay! Host is very personable and fun to talk to. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only hang up with this stay is that it is *slightly* pricey for a single room, however, the private bath was a plus and it makes sense given the area. If you have the opportunity, 11/10 stay, did not disappoint in the slightest.

This place was absolutely what we needed in a vacation - quiet, quaint, and in just the perfect location. Look forward to being back again!

It was wonderful! And very close to everything in town

We had a lovely two nights at Jeffrey and Christine's place. We did not want to stay at a hotel and this was the perfect home and location for our travels. The meticulous care and thoughtfulness that went into preparing for guests was very apparent and the addition of a light breakfast and snacks made it feel like we were transported away to a countryside manor home in England... We were lucky to have a nice chat with Christine who filled us in on some local history and Jeffrey's furniture making craftsmanship is unsurpassed. Highly recommend.

Ann and the rest of the Blue Dory staff made our stay so enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable! The bed was super comfortable, the food was amazing, and all the staff was friendly and helpful! The location to town and access to the beach (with towels and beach chairs included) was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay with at the Blue Dory and we will be back!

Went to the Avonlea for my birthday. It was the most wonderful stay. First of all Sabrina who takes care of EVERYTHING is the sweetest and most helpful hostess. The view is just as described so aren't the rooms. Walking distance to just about everything. I would go again.... if you're thinking of going to the Avonlea. All I can say is GO you'll have the best stay ever 👍👍👍👍👍

We had the most lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Had the two-room suite with our adult daughter. It was like stepping back in time - the charm, quaintness of the cottages. No tv/wifi. Check. Ocean view. Check. Delish breakfast delivered each morning. Check. This place is an absolute gem!! Bonus - location. Surrounded by Gilded Age hotel and buildings with rolling lawn where we had drinks in Adirondacks listening to live music outdoors. Block Island is stunning as well - bluffs, beaches, unspoiled land, ponds. Just a perfect stay!! Andrea, Robin and staff were the best. Huge thank you!!

I loved this room. We arrived at 11 am (much earlier than the check in time) and were told we could leave our bags and we’d get a call when the room was ready. I had a wedding to photograph, so I arranged for a cab to pick me up at the inn at 1:30. After lunch, we went back to the inn (around 1:15) and housekeeping had just finished up our room. We weren’t expecting such an early check in and we were pleasantly surprised by it. The room was clean and comfortable. We woke up early for a beautiful sunrise that was only a two minute walk from the inn. We had breakfast at the inn, which was delicious. The blueberry muffins were amazing and the coffee was great. Every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We had no complaints. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit the island.

The place was better than advertised!!

Beautiful place. Very close to Narragansett beach, shops and restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet especially this time of year. Will definitely be going back to the surf shack!

I loved my stay at the Surf Shack and can't wait to return. I wanted to stay in a cozy place that was in a nice neighborhood where I could walk to restaurants and coffee shops and the beach. This checked all the boxes. The room was delightful and had all the necessities. Everything was perfect -- the bed was comfy, great pillows, comfy sheets. Loved the bathroom. Plenty of space in my room. It definitely exceeded all of my expectations. I came to Narragansett to visit two of my kids and had to work remotely while I was visiting and was able to do that very comfortably from my room. The accommodations made my time at work even feel like vacation. I would highly recommend the Surf Shack to anyone passing through the lovely Narragansett, Rhode Island!

The room was very cozy, comfortable and super clean. The pictures do not show how cool was the bathroom. It is very well located. I went out walking for dinner, and it was all very near. The beach was there, only three blocks away. Checking in and out were very easy. The coffee machine makes delicious coffee! Good value.

I loved this stay! The rooms are super cute, cozy and serene. The location is lovely, just a short walk to the beach. I went during off season so it was very quiet and calm, which is what I wanted. Everyone that I spoke to during my stay was extremely nice, even though I had a little mishap of dropping off the key when checking out of one of the rooms! Thank you again!!

Gracious & charming & that’s just the host! Everything about the cottage & property is outstanding—the most wonderful Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. There aren’t enough words to express how comfortable & special the cottage is—it is a truly a remarkable place steeped in history & beauty. Steve was so welcoming & when he spoke about the cottage & property it was with a great amount of love & pride. We stayed with our dog who enjoyed the experience as much as we did. The amenities are above & beyond—everything you need, could want & then some. We would love to come back & are talking about an autumn return. We loved every minute there & Steve’s carrot cake alone is worth a return.
