Staying at Steve and Sue’s home was like visiting longtime friends. The back deck is amazing, whether you spend the afternoon or evening drinking wine there, or in the mornings enjoying a cup of coffee or breakfast. They even left us a delicious blueberry and pineapple loaf, and plenty of coffee, along with a lovely table setting in the kitchen. You can choose to have more or less interaction with Steve and Sue—they do mention that—and you basically have the entire downstairs to yourself. The bedroom and bed are very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and plenty of towels and toiletries. Steve was very helpful in providing places to visit in Newport (where we spent our only full day), and we loved our time there. Plus, Wickford is a wonderful village close by, and there are many restaurants from which to choose. I do wish we had the chance to stay longer to enjoy the beach, but maybe next time. Thank you again, Steve and Sue!

Todd and Ann were wonderful! The place was great, cozy and home-y. It was welcoming with all the listed amenities and quite the history of the house. Their cat amber is gorgeous and friendly. The bathtub was very cool. Everything was provided. We will definitely come back here for a stay, especially because how wonderful the hosts were and how cozy the hosts feel. The toy railways and the library was really really cooled!!!

Staying with Tom and Kate was like staying at a comfortable friends home! They were personable, Inviting, helpful, warm, and extremely interesting! We are looking forward to staying with them again!

Amazing historic home. Super clean! Right in the heart of the wildlife area so super quiet and private. My favorite coffee shop near campus is at end of road and it is 7 min from the train! And about 10 minutes to my son’s dorm. There were tons of amenities included. And so close to the nature trail. Having the private bathroom room was awesome. The bed was comfy with lots of blankets. Check in was super easy, love the keyless locks on the outside doors. The other long term guests were so quiet, it was hard to imagine they were there at all. I really loved this house and will definitely be staying again as my son is only a sophomore! 12/10 recommend!

Linda’s place was comfortable and peaceful. I enjoyed having the upstairs to myself. It was very clean. Linda was great to chat with. She gave me some great recommendations for food. Her place is close to the downtown. I would stay here again. Thanks Linda!

We stayed 2 nights toward the end of Summer. It was about 1/2 hour outside of Newport, which we knew. We spent most of our time in and around Newport. If you don’t mind the back and forth, it’s perfect to sneak away from the crowds. Suzanne and Dan were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is the perfect size for 2 people and stocked with what you would need, if you want to cook or not. It was very clean and uncluttered with no knickknacks around. Due to time constraints we didn’t get to enjoy the yard, but could see it was very pretty and well maintained. We would recommend and stay again if we are in the area.

We were so pleased with this place that we plan to go back again next summer. We've been telling our family and friends about our trip to Narragansett.

Joan was very responsive. The Airbnb was clean, in a safe place, all amenities were available plus extras. It was walkable to Narragansett town. So much to do. Beaches, shopping, restaurants. It was a great trip!

Thank you Jennifer and Patty for sharing such a lovely space! Finding the location of the BnB, as well as our check-in process went very smoothly. Patty, who helped us throughout our stay, showed us to our very clean and spacious room while sharing some recommendations for the area. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy Charlestown and beyond, supporting local businesses (bars, restaurants, and bait shop to rent kayaks) along the way. She even let us borrow some beach chairs! The bnb is quiet and charming, a perfect getaway for couples and families alike. So grateful for their hospitality, hope to visit soon :)

What an amazing stay! From start to finish, this was a lovely experience. Jeffrey and Christine were very responsive and communicated with us prior to our stay to make sure we knew where to park and how to access our accommodations. The house is warm and comfortable and we were so happy with our rooms and the lovely bathrooms. There is also a wonderful sitting room on the first floor. They provided complimentary beverages and a delicious breakfast each morning. We had to leave quite early one morning and they even put out some grab-and-go selections for us. They really went above and beyond to make this a wonderful stay. The house is quite close to URI and other RI attractions. Thank you, Jeffrey and Christine for being such gracious hosts!

Ann and the rest of the Blue Dory staff made our stay so enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable! The bed was super comfortable, the food was amazing, and all the staff was friendly and helpful! The location to town and access to the beach (with towels and beach chairs included) was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay with at the Blue Dory and we will be back!

Went to the Avonlea for my birthday. It was the most wonderful stay. First of all Sabrina who takes care of EVERYTHING is the sweetest and most helpful hostess. The view is just as described so aren't the rooms. Walking distance to just about everything. I would go again.... if you're thinking of going to the Avonlea. All I can say is GO you'll have the best stay ever 👍👍👍👍👍

We had the most lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Had the two-room suite with our adult daughter. It was like stepping back in time - the charm, quaintness of the cottages. No tv/wifi. Check. Ocean view. Check. Delish breakfast delivered each morning. Check. This place is an absolute gem!! Bonus - location. Surrounded by Gilded Age hotel and buildings with rolling lawn where we had drinks in Adirondacks listening to live music outdoors. Block Island is stunning as well - bluffs, beaches, unspoiled land, ponds. Just a perfect stay!! Andrea, Robin and staff were the best. Huge thank you!!

I loved this room. We arrived at 11 am (much earlier than the check in time) and were told we could leave our bags and we’d get a call when the room was ready. I had a wedding to photograph, so I arranged for a cab to pick me up at the inn at 1:30. After lunch, we went back to the inn (around 1:15) and housekeeping had just finished up our room. We weren’t expecting such an early check in and we were pleasantly surprised by it. The room was clean and comfortable. We woke up early for a beautiful sunrise that was only a two minute walk from the inn. We had breakfast at the inn, which was delicious. The blueberry muffins were amazing and the coffee was great. Every staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We had no complaints. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit the island.

A great weekend get away. Short walk from Old Harbor and close to the grocery store, restaurants, retail shops, and bike rentals. A beautiful place with great staff. Breakfast is not just muffins and coffee...delicious and healthy food each day and afternoon wine and charcuterie. Nothing not to love about this place!
