My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

The house was as beautiful as it looked on the site. It has to be one of the most thoughtful houses that we've stayed at. The house was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of soaps, towels, etc. Arthur was easy to reach and very helpful.

Unforgettable family weekend at a beautiful place. Type of place you want to already rebook. Daniela was so friendly and responsive. Could not recommend it more for a family friendly fun weekend with your dogs!

We enjoyed our stay greatly and Chris was an amazing host! He was super responsive to our request and even offered to let us come in early to put our stuff which helped us a great deal. The house is beautiful and has everything we need, it also feels very cozy and sweet. Its location is also great, only 25 mins driving from Newport and the price is so much more affordable for students. We were so worried about accommodation until we found this place, if we were to return then we would definitely go to Chris' again!

Bria’s home was outstanding in just about every way. It was absolutely adorable, clean to the point that everything looked brand new, appointed with nearly everything we could need, and super close to Narragansett Beach and shops. When we arrived, we were impressed to see a bowl of water set up for our dogs and a bag of treats for them on the counter (along with an assortment of goodies for the kids, aged 6 and 9, and adults as well). Very thoughtful! We found the yard to be an amazing asset for our dogs, who normally need time to adjust to new surroundings on vacation. They felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful. The only neighbor we saw smiled and waved as he drove by. As small as it is on paper, the home did not feel small to our family of 4. It was just right for a week’s vacation. Bria was a responsive host, helping us find everything we needed in the area. All in all, I would highly recommend Bria’s place!

Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

Perfect fit for our plans! It is centrally located with a nice area for morning /evening walks. Lovely setting.

A wonderful house, a convenient but quiet location on the island, and very pretty and peaceful views. The house is extremely comfortable and nicely decorated to provide a homey and real feel for the island. The lovely view looks out over the island at Trim's Pond, the Great Salt Pond beyond that, and the ocean beyond that. And a highlight of the house is the expansive deck, which has a variety of chairs and seating options, and part of it is covered for shade. The hosts also were extremely accommodating and helpful. Our family had a great vacation here, we hope to be back, and we highly recommend this to others.

Really enjoy our stay. View off deck to ocean in front or back deck for bird watching in pond. Perfect! Location is close to local stores for any kind of shopping you would need. Groceries, bakeries, gifts, marine-boat, rental, bait, and Dinning.All within a few miles. If your into fishing, the breachways in the area can't be beat. With the best beaches, salt marshes, ponds, fishing in the state right out your door the location is 5 stars!The house itself is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a little tight. Expect to be side stepping to open refrig. freezer. But not a big deal. Steven was a great host. Helpful and answered all my messages. Wish could of stayed longer.

This was our 2nd stay at the Lake Cottage. The cottage is the perfect size, very clean and well kept. The view from inside and from the patio of the lake is stunning! Reb is the perfect host - ready with suggestions of where to eat, etc. if we didn't feel like cooking. Relaxing indoors or out was refreshing - just what we needed. We hope to make it there a 3rd time next year.

Charming "Windy Corner" cottage is a piece of heaven on earth that you don't want to leave once you've arrived. The location in the midst of grand oak trees and the garden are beautiful, and spending time kajaking and swimming in the lake is just the best way to unwind with friends or family from daily hectic.

The house is beautiful and well-equipped. The peninsula/island setting and grounds are magnificent. The owners were helpful and very responsive. We hope to come back next year.

We had a great long weekend at Jackie’s house! We are a family of 5 and felt very comfortable in the space. The house is squeaky clean, and we appreciated the big yard with the fire pit. The kitchen has everything needed plus welcome extras. The nearby beaches were great and accessible with the provided pass, and when we asked to borrow the kayaks /paddle boards Jackie responded right away. Thanks again, and we would definitely recommend/stay again when in the area.

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

Great spot. We weren’t there to take advantage of the little marina and kayaks— though that would have been cool! Had a weekend event in New London and this was very easy, super straightforward and quiet. Thank you, Paul!

My husband and I had a great weekend stay at Lakeside Landing. It was conveniently located near Foxwoods. We thoroughly enjoyed a more quiet setting for some relaxing for a childfree weekend. The house was super cute and offered everything we needed. It was nice to hear peepers at night and enjoy the night sky from the hot tub.

Paul was very responsive. When we got there our room had not been cleaned. We got in touch with him and he immediately switched our room to a clean one which was fine. He was very apologetic and even brought us a bottle of prosecco. The place was cute, modern, and clean. Can't really walk to anything because it's off a busy road but it sits on the river with a beautiful view and many chairs to sit in and enjoy. We made a fire in the fire pit and cooked on the grill one chilly night. It was very nice. Close and convenient to many attractions in the area. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed it too.

The cabin was wonderful! Clean bathroom, kitchen and bedding! The heat worked great, nice and toasty. We slept very comfortably and sound. We felt safe a secure in the cabin and surrounding areas. The view of the lake in the morning was beautiful. We did not get a chance to walk around but we are hoping to return in the warmer months to enjoy the outdoors.
