I always love my stay at any of Barry and Shani's rentals. They are the consummate hosts. (I love these people❤️) They make you feel at home and provide everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. They have put so much thought into making their rentals beautiful, with such nice touches and amenities ! There is SO much to do in Abingdon and the surrounding areas. They always give me ideas on restaurants and places to go. I enjoyed going riding on the Virginia creeper trail, taking in a play at the Barter Theatre, eating at really good restaurants (there is such a variety) or just staying in and enjoying a movie or relaxing reading a book. I can't say enough about how caring and pleasant they are !!! And I can't wait to go back😊 thank you again Barry and Shani...

Ideal location and very comfortable stay for 2 couples. As others have noted, the space is larger than it looks in the picture. The kitchen is fully stocked, the living room is a comfortable place to relax, and the brochures and local information were very helpful. Great stay in a beautiful location!

Truly a great find - a wonderful place. We only stayed here for one night, but we'd have loved to stay longer, and especially in warm weather to take advantage of the pool and amazing deck area! Deborah's place is super clean, and very comfortable. It feels very private, and is well stocked with everything you need, including a great couch and plenty of entertainment options. Deborah was extremely responsive and accommodating, we had some special requests and she was very understanding. Absolutely no complaints, would love to stay again!

Great place walkable to most of the bike shops and the town which has restaurants. Easy in and out procedures as well as parking. Awesome property.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. We loved all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The location was perfect—quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

Beautiful view !! Comfortable bed. Hot tub a big plus ! Jim was very helpful and had great recommendations for local hikes. I could literally see the snow moving in across the mountain. It was the perfect spot !

We had a girls trip of 9 who stayed in Bristol at Bethany’s amazing loft. The place was perfect! So much space for everyone. The open concept of the main living and kitchen areas was perfect. We especially loved the porch with several different sitting areas where individual groups could gather to chat. With 9 ladies, of course we used them all, lol. One other great feature for a large group is all the bathrooms. Even when we were all getting ready for the day, we had plenty of space to shower and get ready without feeling hurried. Thanks so much to Bethany who has thought if everything for a perfect stay. We all decided this is a place we would love to book again!

Our stay at this charming home was the perfect choice for our mini-vacation. We loved how we could stroll to a variety of scenic hiking trails, delightful shops, and local favorites that truly captured the essence of Damascus. The convenience of being able to walk everywhere added to the joy of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking to explore the area!

Susan and I , hitched for 56 years ( yes, to each other) finally made it to Abingdon for a play at the Barter Theater and dinner ( onThanksgiving, as planned ) at the historic Martha Washington Inn, and to walk a few hundred frigid yards on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Fred's place worked out fine for us with its many neat, decorative touches, super cleanliness, and quiet neighborhood. We'd go back. Like Mexican food? Check out Puerto Nuevo.

We held a family reunion there with 6 members from NC and northern VA. Damascus was a perfect gathering place and their Bungalow was spacious, clean and inviting. 4 decks and fenced in at both front and back was great for our pups. You can see the AT from the back deck and the VA Creeper Trail is a short walk away. We did all in-house cooking and the kitchen was well-appointed. TV had access to the Final Four games and tons of other streaming services. Since I was coordinating, some of my family had to make changes to the number of nights we stayed and Logan was super patient and responsive to deal with all that! We all hope to return again!

John had the home well decorated for Christmas which made it fabulous for a Christmas gathering for us. It was about 20 minutes to the Barter Theatre where we saw a play. Lots of places to eat nearby but we dined at Rain in Abingdon near the theatre. This is an older house remodeled. It was comfortable for our one night stay. John was very accommodating and responsive during our stay. He is a great host

Great place to stay in Bristol. Very clean and had everything needed to cook. The back deck is a comfortable and private place to relax.

This is our second time staying at Doug’s place. It is pretty much the perfect Airbnb as far as I’m concerned and I am pretty picky. It’s immaculately clean, the kitchen is fully stocked, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is large and the overall decor is charming. I love waking up in the morning and walking up the road, seeing the sheep and cows on the hillside. Beautiful countryside.

Molly’s wonderful cottage was the perfect place for our weekend getaway with friends. Located right next to the Virginia Creeper trail made for easy biking and walking with beautiful scenery. The cottage and the barn apt.were clean and comfortable. The fire pit was grand and the little ones loved the arts and crafts. We can’t wait to go back.

Great rental in a town full of places to eat and things to do. Rental was close to everything and although we stayed during Christmas and many things were closed, we saw the town has alot to offer.

Enjoyed staying there it met all my needs! Rhonda is a great host!

It's a great place to stay for my work needs. Seth's property checked all the boxes with ease of checking in, clean and comfortable.

Perfect for those who are on the go or would like to lay low and chill. The accommodations were stellar and even though you were in a neighborhood you felt secluded. I enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels out the window and all the attention to small details there were. Very close to the heart of Abingdon which was exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Janice’s properties to anyone and plan to visit again.

Seth’s place was great for our week stay. Very clean and spacious.

Michael's place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved that the bedrooms each had their own full bathrooms, especially nice since we traveled with another couple. Location was quiet and close to downtown. Definitely would stay here again.
