6 of us stayed in this beautiful modern up to date home. We came to see the DC area and attend a couple of events. The home is in a beautiful area we saw deer on 2 different days during our 4 day stay. 2 the first time and 4 the second time. They have a patio with a BBQ and a fire table and chairs. The house was super nice and cozy while being roomy at the same time. We took the metro into DC (top notch metro system)everyday $13.00 for a allday pass or less if you buy multiple day passes. The metro station is 1.5 miles away. Lyft to station was $7 to $9 or 30 minute walk. Stores are nearby. I contacted the host and they were super good to respond right away. All in all I am coming back in the summer and will stay here again

Michelle was so great I wouldn’t mind paying extra. She even offered an early checkin and late checkout. She was very responsive. She was respectful of our privacy when she offered to come in when we wasn’t around to make sure the wifi was working. From the sauna, to the hot tub and the wonderful basement, everything was worth every penny and more. Thank you so much Michelle.

Great location and very spacious house. Stayed here with 2 kids and 3 adults.. and had more than enough room for all of us. Has lots of different room and places for kids to play. Quiet and beds were very comfortable. Tyler was a great host very communicative.

This is the second year that we’ve stayed and I have nothing but good things to say about the property and the hosts. Always great experience, house is always spotless, the hosts are always responsive and the location for us was perfect. Thank you!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect home away from home while we visited our family near by. We loved and appreciated the displays of Christianity and spirituality throughout the home. We were especially impressed with the well appointed and generous kitchen. The sunroom was a great bonus and the outdoor deck space was charming. We felt the neighborhood was safe and easy to navigate and close to stores, restaurants and medical help if needed. Suggestions to make this a truly top notch property would be updating the towels and wash cloths (they are a bit dated, dingy and warn) and splurging a bit to provide two ply toilet paper instead of single :) All in all we would highly recommend this property and would return again.

Quiet place in a convenient location only a short drive from the Metro. Convenient groceries near by (Giant) and made for a great base as we balanced visiting sites in downtown DC with visiting relatives in Centreville.

This home is clean. The complimentary muffins and wine are a nice touch. Plenty of towels and individually wrapped toiletries if you need them along with extra pillows and blankets. If you want to cook there is cookware, seasonings, and dishes. A nice patio with a fire pit, (bring your own matches). Overall a nice home. Cons: The neighborhood or side street is scary. The home sits on an unpaved road alongside some creepy homes. If arriving at night, you would definitely feel as if you want to sit in the car and look around for a few minutes before going to the door. While the patio is nice, you really can’t enjoy it unless the neighbor has there pit bulls in the home. They barked at us all the time and jumped up and high on the fence. Lastly, the beds are very low. I’m 5’10, 250 lbs, sitting/trying to get that low to the ground is too much for my liking. I wouldn’t stay here again. Good place for men. I wouldn’t stay if a man wasn’t with me.

Gillian and Boe were fantastic hosts, and our stay at their place was amazing. Very comfortable for the two of us, everything was very clean, and the amenities were great. Plenty of towels, easy kitchen access, private entrance. Gillian and Boe were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The area is lovely, with a great downtown area not far and a 5 minute drive to the metro station. Highly recommended.

John's place was great. It was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet for such a tightly packed neighborhood. Parking was no trouble and there were loads of options for getting around without a car. We really loved the shower, too!

Hudson was terrific. He responded when we asked a question but left us alone otherwise. The bathroom was large with lots of amenities, even individually wrapped makeup removal wipes & tons of towels. The 2 bedrooms were equally well stocked with extra blankets & pillows. The mattresses were comfortable. While we didn't cook any large meals, we found there was plenty to cook breakfast. There's a huge supply of spices & assorted coffees and sugars. The living room couch was comfy and the outdoor space was pretty with cafe lights. The laundry room was always available. We were in DC to visit our brand new grandson; it was so handy to clean spit up, pee, and poop. Hudson is pet friendly. We had our daughter's older dog with us and Hudson was respectful of Finn's needs and contacted us before coming into the apartment when 2 lightbulbs burned out. Hudson installed them quickly. The shower is a French farmhouse type so you will need a shower cap. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

This was such a great place to stay - you know sometimes you take the best guess about what looks good in terms of property and location and aren’t sure how it will be, but thisss, was the cutest, most convenient stay at the best location. Felt right at home! Plus Graham was helpful throughout giving us recommendations and answering questions about parking, luggage storage and what not, truly so nice! All that to say, highly recommend if you are coming to DC!

Excellent place and wonderfully friendly host who said hi and were responsive, but also not overbearing. Totally perfect combo! Would definitely stay again. The neighborhood is beautiful and walkable. All in all, A+!

One of my favorite stays was at John’s place, where he truly made it feel like home. The atmosphere, both inside and outside, was incredibly peaceful and serene. I particularly enjoyed spending time by the koi pond; the vibrant fish added a soothing touch to the environment. Even when we lost power, it turned into a cozy experience. We lit candles, played games, and John provided extra flashlights. Despite the unexpected circumstances, the ambiance felt perfect, creating a warm, intimate setting that reminded me of home.

Robert was very friendly and helpful and a great host. Quite a large space. Great to have a place I could stay with pets.
