This I’d or second stay here and will remain a place we choose when visiting Wasilla. Comfortable and roomy with a well stitched kitchen and lots of towels and blankets. The areas is braid and so quiet and peaceful. Daniel has always been so attentive and helpful. Very flexible and understanding when we’ve had to change our reservation. No hesitation in recommending this house!

Beautiful place and a great location.

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

Allisons place was so beautiful! Everything was clean and we felt right at home. We loved sitting by the fire and listening to the loons. We were visiting our son who is in the Air Force and it was so nice to spend a few days with him in the peace and quiet. We used the canoe and kayak to go fishing and our son caught a pike. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful place!

A very beautiful home by the lakeside. It has spectacular views of the mountians. Very cozy and comfortable with all the requirements a family would need. My husband, who does all the cooking, claimed it was one of the best kitchen he had seen so far. Our 8 year loved the Playstation that was made available. Strongly recommend Ryan's home to anyone who wants to spend quality family time. Ryan was very responsive to all our queries. He even gave us good recommendations for our winter activities and they were spot on. We will definitely stay here when we visit Anchorage again.

This was a perfect ending to our trip. The house felt really homely and had something for everyone. We were able to relax, cook a nice meal, catch some trout in the lake and watch the Aurora from the hot tub. Idyllic.

Cabin was easy to get to. It is far away from everything, but the directions were spot on. Cabin was clean and Big Lake is gorgeous at New Years.

Most expensive but biggest and nicest Airbnb around. This is our second time here because we liked it so much. No snow in March this year but we ice skated and biked.

great place to stay. it has a very beautiful lake, and it is quiet and close to the nature. the place is very clean and has everything we needed, including washers and detergents. would recommend this place to other friends

Great peaceful place to stay. The swans must be used to being fed. They swam right over to us.

Best experience in Alaska. If you have even clicked on this listing it is the place for you!!! From the fishing right off the dock for some decent size rainbows, to the clean comfortable cozy living area you will not find a better option! My son and I booked a two night stay at Shirley’s place towards the last 4 days of our vacation. As I hung up from her welcome call i immediately extended for the rest of my trip! The view from the bed is like it was painted there for you! The living space is like having an apartment next to the most amazing Alaskans you’ll ever meet. She even stocked the fridge for us with some breakfast fixins. Her husband Butch is fantastic! He shared tons of info about life in Alaska as my son and I intend on moving up here next summer to build our own place! From cooking us diners to inviting us to the state fair they made us feel so much like family we decided to pitch in on some lawn work with Butch!!! Forget looking for gold in Alaska this is a true DIAMOND!!!

We felt very welcome and enjoyed the nice amenities. The scenario was very pretty and peaceful. Lucero was very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend!

Bill and Carole are fantastic hosts! They are very hospitable and accommodating. We stayed for over a month it’s a good location from downtown Palmer.

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

Loved our weekend in this lakeside cabin. It was perfectly cozy and the view from the lake can't be beat! Perfect for 2-4 people for a weekend getaway. We hope to stay again sometime!

We enjoyed getting out of Anchorage to rest, but still being close enough to enjoy the restaurants and the parks in town. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location, while also being a quick drive to the main road. The house was private and comfortable. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Brittany’s instructions were very detailed and explained everything. There are a lot of walking/biking trails around the woods and lake that would be a great place to explore.

Lori was very kind and nice, she was very understanding with my last minute request for a room the same night. The house was really clean and well decorated. And her two dogs were just the sweetest. Would absolutely recommend her listing for anyone needing to say in the area.
