We had a fantastic family vacation at the Lady D House. The large apartment, located within an exclusive resort, was perfect for our needs. Our kids especially loved the three swimming pools—it's a super kids-friendly place. The beachfront location is another big plus, offering stunning views of the beautiful 7 Islands Bay. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. Kanata is an excellent chef, and I highly recommend asking him to prepare local dishes; we thoroughly enjoyed the fish and seafood. Scarlett was also there every day for housekeeping, ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay so wonderful. Watamu is full of activities, making it an ideal vacation spot with some of the most beautiful beaches on the Indian Ocean. We hope to be back soon at the Lady D House!

Spacious space! Beautiful and secure sorrounding and a bonus is that the beach is actually a walking distance from the apartment. Very responsive and warm host. I really loved my stay 😍

We had an exceptional time at Karina’s. This place is absolutely stunning and very comfortable, safe and secure. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for luxury at a good price. I had a lovely time at Doreen’s Airbnb. It’s a beautiful, well equipped apartment and there is everything you need. You can see she put a lot of love in her airbnb. The communication was great, she is very friendly, helps with recommendations and made my stay unforgettable. I only can recommend this place and next time I will be in Kenya, I will definitely come back. Watamu is a great and peaceful place. This airbnb is the best I had in Kenya by far and worth every penny. Thank you so much Doreen!

Our stay at Azzurra's place was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartment itself was charming, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel right at home, and the location is so close to the Watamu Mall where you can find an ATM, supermarket, nice coffee shop, and means of transportation to go around. The pool area was like a private oasis beautifully landscaped, impeccably maintained, and just the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. Whether we were lounging poolside with a good book or taking a leisurely swim under the sun, every moment spent here felt like pure bliss Furthermore, Azzurra went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you're looking for a cozy, centrally located retreat with thoughtful touches and a gracious host, look no further this is the place for you! We can't wait to return. Thank you Azzura

Our April week at Mwanana House was really special; from Elizabeth’s great communication, to the welcoming team, to AC in the bedrooms, to the easy location, to the best cooked seafood in town. In the words of my 10 year old daughter, “We all had such a great time. The pool was great, the 3 minute walk to the beach was sooo fun (my brother got jumped on by a snake) we all loved the food sooooo much and everyone looked after us so well. Definitely stay again!”

Ruby Hall was lovely! Sadly we only stayed one night so we didn't get to experience all that it had to offer - such as Joseoph's cooking which I'm sure is incredible!! The Staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. There was airconditioning only in one of the bedrooms so we stayed in the lower bedroom, which was beautiful. The power wasn't always running - just a note incase you need to work from there. But a completely zen and beautiful stay!

Tess’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect retreat, whether for a vacation or a work trip like mine. From the moment I expressed interest in the house, Tess’s responsiveness and attention to detail were exceptional. She provided all the necessary information to ensure a comfortable stay and even shared additional details for my team, making the entire process seamless. Her prompt communication and willingness to assist reassured me that we had chosen the right place. Tess and her team, led by Daniel the Chef, went above and beyond by curating a tailor-made menu for us. Since we were busy with work, not having to worry about meals was a huge relief. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. We are already looking forward to returning to Serenity, especially since we didn’t get a chance to explore the activities Tess recommended. Her in-depth knowledge of Malindi and its best experiences is truly impressive, and we can’t wait to experience more on our next visit

I would strongly recommend this place. It is well located along the Watamu Coast, a short distance from grocery store and restaurants while sufficiently seclude to get some peace. The staff is amicable and helpful.

La maison est spacieuse, décorée avec goût. Les espaces de vies sont vraiment agréables, les chambres sont belles et confortables avec leurs salles de bains privatives, très bonne literies. Le personnel de la maison est discret et au petit soins. Le cooker un vrai plus, il a su nous concocter de bons repas en ecoutants nos souhaits. L'espace piscine un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons également été bien accompagnés par nos hôtes pour trouver les bons prestataires pour les activités que nous souhaitions faire. Je recommande à 100%!

Nadia's house is beautiful, matches the description exactly. it's in a central place making it easy to access all Malindi attractions. Nadia also deserves the superhost status. She is very responsive. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

My parents and I had an absolutely lovely time at Shell House. Kevin, the chef, was amazing, and Mercy, the housekeeper, was very sweet. Helga was extremely communicative throughout, even being a great help during a check-in at 4AM online, as well as giving tons of recommendations. The location is lovely - it's a bit off from the rest of Watamu but connected to a beach with some small bars. One thing to know is that it's not the best ocean swimming spot as there are lots of blowfish and sea urchins and it's shallow. But the lovely salt-water pool made up for it! There's a generator in the property so power always comes back on quickly and the Wifi worked very well. Overall, we had a fantastic time. Thank you!!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

We had a pleasant stay. Lots of amenities associated with the Gecko resort. Good restaurants not far away. Tribe Water Sports on the beach. Great Kite Boarding. Two big pools. Nightly entertainment. Daily cleaning.

Absolutely fabulous place. I would highly recommend it. Rachel had clear instructions and was always available to help. The place was clean and has everything you need. There is so much to do in the area, Malindi is a lovely place to visit. Musa was very helpful and showed us around making sure we got everything we needed. Thank you for having us.

Milkah's place was a great beautiful and clean house. She allowed an early check-in. She provided soap and complimentary water ++ for the Malindi heat. She was always available on call and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend her house.
