As always, we had a great stay at Swordfish. The house is spacious and clean, the compound is very serene with a big swimming pool. The staff is very friendly! Highly recommend.

Stayed with family including 5 kids under 11 years. We had a wonderful time! The pictures truly don't do the house justice. The kids (and adults too!) spent most of the time in the pool. The beach is a 5 mins walk away where we got excursions to Malindi marine park. But what made this stay so enjoyable for us was the staff (Phillip, Janet, Eric and James) who really made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Mwanana House. The staff looked after us really well! Karisa was a great cook and even baked a loaf of bread for us for toast one morning! Anthonina and Katana are very discreet and helpful. The walk to the beach is easy and we spent a lot of time in the pool observing the monkeys. Super relaxing house! And AC in the bedrooms was a very welcome relief from the heat.

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!

This house stood out for 2 reasons: 1. The value - it would be hard to match the quality of this house with other similar houses in Watamu. The service of the house staff was excellent and the house had everything you needed to accommodate a lovely vacation. The house is especially amenable to families with the layout of the bedrooms and an on-site swimming pool. 2. The location - this location is private and peaceful. Yes, you are not on the water, but multiple beaches are easily walkable. In sum, a lovely, clean and quiet place to stay in Watamu that is especially accommodating for families.

La maison est spacieuse, décorée avec goût. Les espaces de vies sont vraiment agréables, les chambres sont belles et confortables avec leurs salles de bains privatives, très bonne literies. Le personnel de la maison est discret et au petit soins. Le cooker un vrai plus, il a su nous concocter de bons repas en ecoutants nos souhaits. L'espace piscine un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons également été bien accompagnés par nos hôtes pour trouver les bons prestataires pour les activités que nous souhaitions faire. Je recommande à 100%!

This is beautiful villa, perfect for families with children who seek some privacy, beach time, pool time and the pampering of the chef and the housekeeper! (Kids shall be safe swimmers as the pool is deep.) A total relaxing holiday! The beach is easy to reach, 15 min walk and for the return a tuk-tuk is always available. The beach is also fantastic, not too crowded, with super comfy sunbeds. Communication with the host was really easy and proactive, the housekeeper was able to help with anything we needed. Overall this was our best ever holiday experience!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing, amazing, amazing time at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the house manager, who made sure we felt right at home. The space itself was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable- everything we could have hoped for. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Every morning, we received a thoughtful check-in call to see how our night was, which was such a nice touch. The service providers were also fantastic- they ensured our place was spotless, security was top-notch, and they even helped us with our luggage. A special thank you to the team for accommodating our request for an early check-in and a late check-out, which made a huge difference given our itinerary. That level of flexibility is rare and truly appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay and will 100% recommend this place to friends. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another visit!

we stayed at Angela's cottage for 3 Nights. she was very prompt to respond to any concerns. our entire stay was a great one. Surprised that even locals do not know about this local gem of a place. Second time staying at William's and the stay was awesome. Seamless check in, wonderful chef Jonathan (the meals are truly IT), the massive pool (a real highlight), and William's kindness with a flexible checkout, when our travel plans changed. These are a few of my favourite things. Definitely return-worthy!

My friend and I had planned to stay at Francesca‘s for 4 nights but extended our stay since we liked it so much. The apartment seems to be pretty new, everything is very clean and furnished practically but still with nice details like the carving of the wardrobe or the wonderful terrace/balcony space. We were welcomed by Derick, who was our contact on the ground, but nevertheless Francesca always stayed in touch with me to see if we were fine. The apartment was a bit hot when we arrived, but as soon as we opened the windows and doors there was a nice breeze and it was easy to keep the house ventilated. Also, a BIG plus is that the beds and all windows have mosquito nets, so even if you leave them open, no problems with bites! Also, the accommodation is conveniently located near the beach, 3 mins away from „Watamu mall“ with a supermarket and a coffee shop, and a 15 min walk or short boda-drive from the centre. Overall a great price for value, I would definitely come again!

Esperienza fantastica. Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia a Villa Amalia ed è stata una super coccola. C'è il "maggiordomo" Nicholas che si prendere cura della casa (pulizie) ma anche della spesa e fa anche da cuoco. Una persona affidabile, onesta e paziente. Super Nicholas. La casa è nuova comodissima con 2 bagni, 2 camera da letto matrimoniali di cui una sulla piscina. Un grande patio per stare in relax vista piscina e per mangiare coccolati dalla brezza. La casa si trova all'interno di un residence (con la presenza del servizio di vigilanza) in una zona tranquilla a 5min di tuctuc dalla spiaggia isola dell'amore. Inoltre super disponibile ed attento Daniele il co-host. Insomma il soggiorno perfetto.

This place is an absolute gem. My girlfriend and I had to extend our stay and needed a quite place to work remotely. This was it! Very peaceful, great internet and very temperate (never got too hot). Philippe, the host, was super responsive and very accomodating to our needs. Also the kitchen was superb, for any foody looking for a well equipped kitchen, this is the place. As for the location, it is very central, a 5 minute walk to both beaches, a new cafe just opened up on the corner for those looking for fresh croissants in the morning and there is a great gym about 1 minutes walk from the apartment. Loved it... and we will be back :)

We had great time. Very convenient to reach the tourist attractions and restaurants. The host was super and responded promptly.

We had such an amazing time at this house, I'm ready to go back and my birthday vacation just ended. Our host gave us all the instructions some of which we didn't know we needed- we had no questions prior to check in and the actual process was easy. Everything about this house is adorable, a beautiful space. They said beach front, we got exactly that and moving around to town was easy. I especially loved the fact that since we had no access to the kitchen the basics were provided to us and honestly as someone who prefers to eat out while on holiday, this place was perfect. It's obvious our host takes pride in his place, and as a guest,we couldn't help but treat this beautiful, aesthetically designed space with care and the same respect. Our bed was super big, super comfortable, The shower water gets nice and hot so showers are a dream. So glad I stayed here & it was the perfect getaway in every way. both logistically and aesthetically. I hope I can stay here again and again

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The resort's location on Garoda Beach, arguably the most beautiful beach in Watamu, is fantastic. We appreciated the convenience of being right by the beach, with easy access to the resort's sunbeds and pools. Additionally, it was nice to be within walking distance of places we enjoy (LichtHaus, the gym at Temple Point, and Kobe restaurant) We had the opportunity to stay in both the double room and the Cactus apartment. While we thoroughly enjoyed the Cactus apartment, the double room could get some improvements (real double bed and not twin beds put together for ie and some refreshments in the decoration).

This place was not only beautifully furnished, clean and in a very secure and prime location! Everything you need is provided, well stacked kitchen, endless supply of towels, and if anything was missing Susan and Hamisa the wonderful housekeeper were there ready to support immediately! I can not praise them or this place enough! The location is perfect! It’s right on the beach front, surrounded by many fantastic restaurants, bars, and boats for trips! We saw dolphins on a trip and went on an elephant sighting! It was magical! At the end of the day, it is peaceful and quiet to have a good night sleep and start the adventures again! I highly recommend Susan’s beautiful flat and will definitely be visiting again! I’ve already shared it with several friends, who I am sure will visit soon! Thank you so much Susan and Hamisa, you both are super kind and attentive and we appreciate your support throughout our stay! 🤍

Milkah's place was a great beautiful and clean house. She allowed an early check-in. She provided soap and complimentary water ++ for the Malindi heat. She was always available on call and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend her house.

We had a wonderful week at Nadia's place. It was super clean and a lovely lovely space (with a great pool). Would definitely recommend
