The view from the cabin was exceptional. Exactly as described. Very private and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, even had champagne glasses! And everything was very clean. Howard was very responsive as well. The only downside was getting there was a bit tricky. We weren’t quite sure if we would ever get to the top of the mountain. I guess that’s what makes the view worth it! Luckily, we printed Howard‘s very detailed directions and were able to find it. Perfect weekend getaway.

Enjoyed our stay. Watuga River out back in a quiet neighborhood. And, the short walk to Grandfather Vineyard made it even better.

This cabin was the perfect setting for a much-needed getaway for us. Beautiful cabin, super clean, and so tastefully appointed. I can't recommend this place enough. I won't lie, the road getting to the cabin was a bit sketchy, and I'm glad they recommended 4 wheel drive to get there, but it had been graded by the time we left so it was much smoother. We'll definitely be back and have already recommended it to several friends

Serenity Falls is beautiful inside and out! Very relaxing and peaceful. The comfy bed, hot tub, waterfall, and flowing water beside the house made for a very enjoyable and restful trip. Some places do not have comfortable beds or clean hot tubs, this place was great! Also plenty of towels and blankets. Too steep of terrain for us to hike, but was a beautiful location - would love to see when the rhododendrons are blooming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Great place to spend the weekend as a couple. we took full advantage of the hotub and Sauna. The house was beautiful and the interior design and decorating was on point. We was able to eat at a few good resturants and door dash dinner to the house. Me and the wife had a amazing night.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Weekender and it was absolutely perfect. Bryan and Sharon are delightful hosts and created an unforgettable experience for our family. We even had a chance to enjoy a snow storm on our last evening and wow, what a view this home offers! Thanks again for making us feel like home and hope to come back again soon.

We loved our winter stay here. Located just minutes away from Beech Mountain (and only a few more to Sugar), this large and spacious home was the perfect retreat for our snow sports vacation. The beds are soft and comfortable, with quality sheets, and the towels were luxurious and smelled so fresh. The weather heater takes no time at all to heat, and the hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Thank you Ryan and Shannon for a seamless stay.

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

This is one of the best places my friend group has stayed. Very comfortable space that offers something for everyone. Tom is a great host and very responsive. The place was really clean. Also great location for all mountain activities.

Loved the place. The house was super cute and very cozy. It slept all of us comfortably. The roads coming in and the steep drive way, you definitely need 4 wheel drive. But would definitely recommend this house. Thanks!

Had an excellent stay here with our two dogs. The house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The little touches like having a dog crate and dog bowls available made it even better. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get up the steep driveway after rain and snow came through, but otherwise it wasn’t an issue. The location was far away enough to have peace and privacy, but close enough to easily access shops and restaurants in town. Would love to stay here again!

Lanis place was the perfect cabin getaway. Hot tub worked great and plenty of sleeping options. Stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and plenty of games. Fireplace was awesome. It was scenic and peaceful in the trees. Be aware the road to get there is a little scary if you’re not used to driving unpaved and winding roads. But perfect for those who want to get away and be far enough away , while still remaining 15 minutes from civilization. Lots of cute shops around, the grandfather winery was great.

This home was perfectly accommodating to our needs as a family. My children had so much fun and all the adults were comfortable. The location is private, peaceful, and quiet and we really enjoyed that. Upon arriving to the home, I lost service and the GPS took us through Blowing Rock and Holloway mountain Rd—DO NOT go that route. Make sure to drive through Morganton, then Sugar Mountain, and finally Banner Elk. The home’s instructions were clear and concise regarding the amenities and departure. The owner put much thought into the small details to make this space comfortable for their guests, it is beautifully and extremely thoughtfully decorated. The beds were comfortable, the bedding was new/very gently used, the towels were new as well. The deck was awesome, views were nice, and a separate space for kids to hang and play was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our weekend here. It was far enough from the town to be peaceful and private but close enough to go do stuff. Would come back again!

Great creekside cabin, loved sleeping with the windows open and listening to the water. Easy walk to stores & restaurants.

Loved this cozy cabin! Easy walk to the ski resort, & coffee shop. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults and our fur baby. Cabin was super close to the ski resort and centrally located to every restaurant, coffee shop & store we had on our bucket list to visit in Beech Mountain. . The view & sound of the creek was an added bonus . The gated wrap around deck / porch was my fav part of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and hosts were super detailed with directions & instructions . Hosts had super clear communication and gave fantastic local recommendations. 10 out of 10 recommend & hoping to book again for next year’s trip!

Very nice cabin. Quiet at night and sitting on the back porch to have coffee and watch the sunrise was great. Lots of birds and bunnies. Cabin is not too far from hiking, Blowing Rock, and Boone so we could get to all the things we wanted to see and do quickly.
