we drove up for a wedding and happened to be there in the middle of the hurricane. Even though we had no power, we were still able to communicate with Brooke because she walked to the end of her road to get service to message us. If that's not a great host, I don't know what is. Thank you so much for being available even during the worst conditions to help answer questions we had. The Airbnb was beautiful and I even saw a couple deer which made me happy. Definitely recommend this place and we will be going back in better conditions.

I coach a college golf team, and Taylor’s place was perfect for all 11 of us. Plenty of comfort and entertainment, not to mention a beautiful and peaceful property. Felt like home. We would love to stay here again if we ever travel back.

Very beautiful view, the nature is gorgeous! Quiet and beautiful! Away from people, alone with nature! I recommend for those who are tired of city life, here you will relax 100%. The hosts are incredibly caring, the house has everything you need, my family and I had a great rest, thank you!

Kurt was an amazing host. The little cottage was perfect for what we needed, and he was so gracious to help us accommodate our stay. It was well appointed and decorated beautifully! Such peaceful surroundings. My daughter described drinking her coffee on the front porch while watching the deer and water was like being in a Hallmark movie. :)

Very beautiful place! Well taken care of! This place is very roomy and was over looking the water. I stayed right at peek winter with snow so we did not get to enjoy the out doors much but it was super pretty looking out the window at the snow and water!

Russell's lake house was beautiful! Had any amenity we could have needed and more. Russell was a great host and quick to respond to our request! Hope to be back soon :)

This was my first time staying at an Air BNB, I gave used Vrbo in the past, but I looked on AirBNB for this trip and found this location. I can’t describe how wonderful it was, every detail was considered, extra blankets, plenty of linens, disposable plates and cups…. And everything is labeled! No turning on 12 lights to find the right one! And really nice personal touches, a personal message on a white board, chilled bottled water, mints, popcorn….. and we were able to meet the hosts, and they were so incredibly nice, and welcoming. We really hope to come back and stay again soon. Thank you so much for making our first experience a great one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great communication at beautiful view. Loved the hot tub!

A great location with almost immediate access to skiing and hiking trails! We didn’t use the amenities while there but did see many families enjoying them. A 15 minute ride to Boone and all that area offers was a plus. This was a quiet, corner location with a soothing view of a pond on the grounds out all of the windows. A good sized space to wind down after a full day of adventures!

Ms Cheryl is as friendly as they come she made us feel like we were home she greeted us when we got there and showed us around everything was was perfect Boonies restaurant is right next door at Davis marina and that’s all you need we will definitely plan another trip for stripers again thank you and take care

John is “the” host! We had a great time in his property. The property has everything you need to have a great time. You can fish, swim in the pond, play pool, etc. John takes really good care of you, cannot ask for a better host!

We had a great stay!! Everything was just as described! Perfect distance to sugar and beech for skiing! We hope to be back soon!

There aren’t enough words for me to express my appreciation and gratitude towards David & his wife. From the moment I booked the home, David made sure to communicate with me thoroughly! If I ever needed anything, he was available! The home itself is absolutely gorgeous and so well kept! It is quite literally a slice of heaven! Out of all the places I have stayed through Airbnb I would easily say this was my best experience as far as places I’ve stayed and host I’ve dealt with! If you’re looking for a magical piece of paradise in the mountains this is your place. My fiancé and our two puppies stayed for the weekend. It was incredibly relaxing, quiet and the views are breathtaking. Nancy is so accommodating, responsive and kind. She has done such an amazing job making sure everything you could possibly need is available. A few of my favorite things about our stay: - Nancy greeting us up the hill and signaling where to park at the very late hour we arrived - Cozying up by the fireplace looking at the views - Meeting the goats on our morning walk - Full kitchen equipped with everything we needed to make meals - Comfy bed and a good nights rest - The Hangar (SO COOL!!) - The home design, big windows and a beautiful shower while looking at the mountains - ROBES! So many to choose from and so cute - The prepared puppy station, we did not use but really appreciated it. Thank you Nancy <3 we are excited to come back and make more memories.
