Had a wonderful Christmas weekend at Luna Rossa. The host was very responsive and attentive. The house is spacious, private and has all the amenities from the photographs including a pool and jacuzzi. Zebula Golf Estate and Spa, that the house is situated on, has various activities and amenities to enjoy. Would definitely come back.

We loved our time at the property! Fantastic place to go as a family, great to get away with the serenity of the reserve. Klaas was amazing and made us feel right at home! The drives were fantastic and seeing the Lions was so so special! It's also near a lot of reserves that offer all the big 5, an easy way to get the full big 5 experience! Property had so much space, and the pool was great for the warm weather!

We had such a wonderful weekend in this beautiful, peaceful spot! The house has all the charm of a rustic bush retreat with wonderful little luxuries like a dishwasher, jacuzzi, honesty cupboard, board games and DTSV. We were there with a group of boys who just loved spending time outdoors and made full use of all the facilities!

The place is amazing, friendly people in the town. Animals where you look. The house can do 8 guests easily, we were only 4 so it was more than big enough. Kids was in the jacuzzi the whole day. Really loved the stay, is planning to go back there again asap. Very piece full and relaxing.

An absolutely fantastic getaway! The Bungalow exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect escape from the city. The natural hot spring was undoubtedly the highlight—soaking in the 50°C mineral-rich water under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautifully secluded, offering complete privacy with stunning riverfront views, mountain scenery, and an abundance of birdlife. It’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature at its finest. The bungalow itself has a unique rustic Mediterranean-African charm, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The braai and pizza oven were great additions, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. We also appreciated the fast WiFi, which worked even when there were temporary power trips (to clarify—there was no load shedding during our stay). A standout experience was the magical three-course meal Schalk arranged for us atop one of the nearby mountains.

Higgo’s place was so beautiful, clean and well maintained! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Higgo is a very friendly host who communicates very well. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a group getaway! The jacuzzi is amazing, the ambience is calm and the game room is lots of fun!

We had a wonderful stay during the Christmas week! The house was perfect for a big group as each family had their own private retreat. The kitchen was well equipped for self-catering purposes. For a big group and longer stay, the fridge space can be a problem. Bring an extra cooler or camp fridge to keep drinks cold. There was enough to do at the house, a beautiful pool, braai area, and jacuzzi. The kids also enjoyed their space upstairs (Bring your own table tennis bats and balls) The housekeeper, Violet, made our stay even more enjoyable by taking care of the cleaning duties.

This is our second stay … and its always memorable!!! The facilities are exactly what we need and the staff are super helpful … I would highly recommend this great venue !!!

This was the perfect location for our family get-together. Each family had their own area and the common area was spacious and exceedingly comfortable. The kitchen had to be one of the best equipped kitchens we have encountered during rented stays. But the best thing about Janine's place was the staff. They were truly outstanding. From the knowledgeable rangers to the warm and welcoming lodge staff, they are to be commended for their efforts. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge to others looking for a treat in the bush.
