Tom is a super friendly host with a lovely home. We really enjoyed the views from the cabin and the deck amenities (hot tub, string lights, grill). The porch right inside had a great sitting area and view of the lake during the day. This was also very close to a number of things, including Ann Arbor, which was really convenient.

Was a great place to spend the weekend with friends. Amazing lake view and a beautiful house! Host responded extremely quick to any question.

Lori and her husband Rick were fabulous, My friends and I absolutely loved them! We highly recommend this cute cottage by the lake. The house smelled amazing! No chemicals just a wonderful beautiful scent that made me smile. The warm fire roaring at night while drinking a cup of hot tea and the beautiful view of the lake was a wonderful way to start my healing journey. Everything is neat and labeled for you and she goes above and beyond to really make sure that you are happy. We had quite the snow storm while hunkered in and Rick cleared the walkway, drive way and stopped in to get our trash. They live right next door which was great incase we needed anything but still had complete privacy :) Location is great and you’re not far from stores, restaraunt, etc. I highly recommend, you will feel like you are visiting family.

We traveled to the area for a wedding and appreciated finding a very reasonably priced place to stay for the 7 of us in our group. The house was clean and owners very responsive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the signage in the neighborhood against Airbnb's made us a little nervous, but we had zero issues with neighbors and the entire time we spent at the house was quiet and peaceful. The pizza place and general store near the house were great stops for food and drinks/snacks when we arrived in town. When our daughter forgot one of her dolls at the house, Greg quickly mailed it back to us which was very appreciated. If we had to do it over again, we would have gladly stayed in the same house.

We loved this cabin. Real kayaks to use and are easy to access. The yard is amazing, neighbors are nice and gave us tips about the lake. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself is incredibly clean and cozy, and has all the things you need. I read some previous reviews about the water; I can see why it’s surprising to people who have only had city water, but I think it’s pretty typical well water and is fine to use and drink. The owner also provided bottled water.

Ryan and Dee's home was the perfect Valentine's 💝 Day getaway. It was just as advertised. Very comfortable, very clean. We can't wait to come back in the summer to take full advantage of being so close to the water.

House was clean and cozy. Heating and water temperature were nice. beds and linens were comfortable and the area wqs cozy. Only negative that I can really think of is the low water pressure, which can fallen anywhere and still worked fine. was a great stay and Dang was very attentive and responsive.

Great central location for visiting family in Michigan - east to get to lansing and Ann Arbor. Peaceful little place to relax

Had a great weekend at Jessica’s. Cute little house with all the amenities we needed. The beds were SUPER comfortable. Plenty of food and grocery options available in the area. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the Detroit area.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin to ring in the New Year 2025!! The property is absolutely beautiful and so much to do during our stay. We wanted snow and we sure did get some snow!! It was a magical winter wonderland.

We were so pleased to stay at this cozy lake house. Everything was just as described. The beds were comfortable and the area was so peaceful. Dave was very kind and helpful.

Quiet, Private and Safe neighborhood. Highly recommend. Joe was super nice and the property is amazing! The backyard was quite enjoyable. Lots of nature like blue and white heron and bunnies and chickadees. The view was amazing! Right against the water with a private dock. Lots of places to get food only a couple miles away. Plus Pine Knob is super close.

We loved staying at sunshine cottage! The house was immaculate and cozy. Jason was super easy to communicate with and check-in was smooth. The beds, linens, furniture, etc. are super clean and comfortable. There are many extra amnenities that are thoughtful and welcoming. It was truly a great experience! Thank you Talia and Jason!

Clean, omfortable, quiet home. Beds were very comfortable but bed pillows could be more supportive. They were very flat. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies as was the laundry room and bathrooms, much more than any other Airbnb we have stayed at. The house is in a quiet setting on the lake and the only noise was the occasional speed boat or distant traffic. Would definitely stay here again if a trip brought us back to Michigan.

Loved the beautiful lake views from inside, from the shady deck and from the small yard. Inside was pretty and comfortable for a couple. Nice kayaks and stand up paddle boards for the quiet, beautiful lake. Outside is a little wild with steep steps coming down to the house. We enjoyed our stay!
