we spent an unforgettable night with 3 other couples. enjoyed the spacious rooms, the coziness of the dining room and the well equipped kitchen. we will be back for sure.

Loved staying at this beautiful, eclectic home for my birthday weekend. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, outdoor space was a plus, and everything was very clean. Sarah was very responsive when I had to arrange to pick up a few things I forgot. Very walkable to downtown Elora, too!

The Austrian Log House was a beautiful place for a girls weekend getaway! The space is very large and easily slept all 7 of us in our own beds. The indoor fireplace was beautiful and the home was very clean and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. Highly recommend this unique and beautiful spot for your next Elora getaway!

The house is lovely and well-furnished. Photos are accurate! The living rooms were both very comfortable, and the host was kind enough to leave the house at a very comfortable temperature, even though it was well below freezing outside. (I am a person who usually runs cold, but I felt perfectly warm and happy in this house!) Information that may be helpful to other travelers: The mattresses were on the firm to very firm side, and there were two bed pillows per bed. The shower I used had two types of shampoo (a basic one and an anti-dandruff one), as well as bar soap. I only saw one hair dryer, though there may have been others (I did not investigate closely, and our party was mostly men who didn't care about this). Unlike other Airbnbs I've stayed in, we had enough toilet paper for our four day stay (very much appreciated)!

Gorgeous contemporary home with super comfy beds, great bathrooms and amazing kitchen. Highlight was the automatic coffee/espresso machine that makes amazing specialty coffee drinks (there is a drip maker for ordinary coffee) and 2 fresh bags of coffee for our use. Loved the livingroom sofa for TV watching, parking was super easy, very walkable neighborhood and grocery/restaurants within just a few minutes walk or drive. Google does send you down the street and does not seem to know exactly where the house is, and digital keypad was a little tricky (press the checkmark key BEFORE putting in the code), but Steve was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back.

Geraldine and Christie are fantastic hosts! The accommodation was just lovely and so very clean. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home and so comfortable. The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas. St Jacobs Farmers Market was just a short drive away. The weather didn’t allow us to sit outside and enjoy the lovely patio but I’m sure that it would be wonderful to sit poolside in the warmer months. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great! Geraldine left all sorts of goodies for us. The farm fresh eggs and croissants were very much appreciated for breakfast. I highly recommend this Airbnb for a restful getaway or even as a base to explore the local towns and sights. We hope to stay here again. It was excellent value as well!
