We have stayed here several times and we love it more with each visit. Mike and Amy have invested in their property and there are new updates with each year. There is newer furniture than what is pictured. The lake is so nice for swimming!!! And having access to all the kayaks, paddle boat, etc makes the stay so much more fun and relaxing. Sitting on the deck listening to the loons and star gazing is the perfect end to the day!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!!!! We ate at the Pea Patch one evening and listened to some great live music Nearby grocery store was also very friendly and had everything we needed. Our dogs also loved the place as well :)

Fantastic Hosts. Repeat stay we love this location. Fits every need we can ask for. We enjoy every minute of our stay and look forward to next year.

The place was just as advertised. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We were there for a snowmobile trip and had very good access to the trails. Vaughn sent instructions for checking in that were accurate and easy to follow. This was our second stay here and we would do it again.

Daniel was very responsive and great to work with. We had an issue when we got to the rental but Daniel resolved the issue right away and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay at one of his rentals again as it was very relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks Daniel

We stayed here for the Pond Hockey tournament and booked it last minute after someone cancelled their reservation and oh my goodness did we luck out! What an amazing home, so spacious, cozy, and quiet. I will absolutely be trying to make this our place to stay year after year when we head up to eagle river for the tourney!

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

A great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Tyler was very timely with responses to all my questions no matter the time of day. The cabin was basic but had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing disappointing about the trip was the fishing. Unfortunately, Tyler had no control over the fish and weather.

We had a nice peaceful stay. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and fishing off the pier. We saw 3 deer, black squirrels and a grouse on our walks. Laura got back to us right away when we had any questions or concerns.

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). We loved our stay at Jeff's place. the wood stove was so cozy, the furniture very comfortable, and really reliable wifi that I was even able to work from there. Even the lake was still ice, the view was beautiful from the sun room. We will definitely come back!

Wonderful stay, beautiful property and a great location!

We had an awesome time at this place! Great private lake with calm water and a sandy bottom, perfect for small kids. The living room and kitchen area was very pretty and peaceful with those big windows. Carrie was very responsive to every single question we had and was very flexible with us. Overall just a wonderful experience and a nice escape from the busy Chicago area. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

Awesome little cottage. Nice time of year to just hang out in the hot tub and sauna. The weather didn’t cooperate but it was still great

We sure enjoyed our visit at this beautiful lake home. Everything was as described and the owner(s) were very helpful in making sure the check in process was a smooth as possible. We sure enjoyed the view of the lake and the fact that the neighborhood was very walkable. The proximity to town makes everything convenient if you need to go shopping or find a restaurant. The home was clean and the beds were quite comfortable. On a cold morning the heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch. Also, the black out blinds are great for getting a solid night's rest. Thanks Luc for helping to make our weekend special!

The location of this cabin was spectacular, close to many trails and short drive into town for restaurants or groceries. The view all around the property was breathtaking and there were so many wonderful amenities provided. We had such a great time and this place helped us unplug and enjoy quality time. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time. If you're able to, add an extra night!

We loved our Spring Break stay! The house was great. I love that it is actually a dog-friendly residence, complete with couch covers. The fire pit and grill were awesome bonuses. I bet this is an amazing stay in the summer time!

My husband and I came here for a long weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place! Such a beautiful, immaculately clean, and well-stocked cabin with so many extra special touches! The location was wonderful, no neighbors right on either side of the cabin, so it felt private and was so quiet and peaceful! The leaves were at the height of changing color and made for gorgeous views out on the lake and from the cabin!! (2nd weekend of October) Coffee on the deck with the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings was just perfect! Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so wonderful and responding so quickly to messages and giving great instructions on various things! We cannot wait to come back here again!!

We had an amazing weekend in this special little spot! The house is cozy and tucked away in nature, with a beautiful lake right behind it that looks like something out of a movie. The sunset over the water was absolutely unforgettable — one of those moments that makes you stop, take a deep breath, and just be grateful. It was the perfect way to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with each other and the peaceful surroundings. I was also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful touches throughout the house — there were basic hygiene items available, including feminine pads, a first aid kit, and in the kitchen we found coffee, sugar, oil, and spices for cooking. Everything was prepared with so much care. Highly recommend for anyone looking to rest, unwind, and enjoy some quiet beauty.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the cottage and the Lake. We made good use of the paddle boat, the fire pit and the fireplace. The fall colors were gorgeous- reflecting in the lake at sunrise and sunset and the privacy and peacefulness of the area was just what we needed. Ian was super responsive and helpful. we would love to come back!!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The cabin is just as it is described and pictured. You can tell that a lot of time and effort was put into it.
