Very clean and fully functional house. On the beach. Peaceful surroundings.

We never wanted to leave! beautiful place, extremely gorgeous surroundings, lots to do nearby, great recommendations from Stefan and all the guests felt like they had the best room. I loved how pelicans would fly by right at eye level, we could pop down the beach in less than a minute, I could look out and see the endless ocean from almost any room, the kitchen was big and bright, and I even saw some whales migrating north!!

This was the second year in a row that we stayed in this lovely and comfortable home. Hopefully, we will be back soon! Thank you

Had a great time staying at Dean's house. First off location and views were amazing! Had ocean waves crashing out the window and lots of wildlife to see including sea otters and harbor seals right out the front window. House is within walking distance to aquarium and Cannery row. Also walking path along the water is right across the street. House was super clean and easy check-in and out. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. We were celebrating an anniversary and Dean left us a nice note and bottle of wine. Perfect trip would highly recommend and will be coming back soon.

Love Liz's place. I have stayed her numerous time and will continue to do so. What I especially LOVE: Cozy Private Patio High ceiling (feels spacious) Walk to coffee shop in the morning Walk to dinner in the evening Walk to the beach all the time Lovely neighborhood I highly recommend Liz's place!!!

We had a lovely time at Carolyn’s cottage. It was spotless, charming and situated wonderfully. The cottage has a lot of charm and it is apparent that Carolyn takes pride in assuring everything was in place for us.

Cottage conveniently located near downtown and only .25 mile walk to Lovers Point. Exactly as advertised and well stocked. Cozy beds and linens made it extra nice! Great rental experience!

We enjoyed staying in David's place very much! It was short walk to the Beach Board Walk and Seabright Beach so we took our dog for a walk multiple times a day :-) Our teenagers also enjoyed getting to the Board Walk + hanging out in the roomy attic (king size bed + extended sofa). We could actually see the roller coaster from the window + hear *subtleI* Board Walk screams from the room, which we thought was cool. David and the hosts let us in the house before our check in time and was super responsive whenever we contacted. For complete transparency, people very sensitive to noise or have little kids may have a little concern since it's facing to a relatively busy streat. It is also near a rundown motel (which didn't bother us). Overall, super satisfied with the place.

The place was very clean, comfortable and well located to do lots of fun stuff, near the village/ downtown and near a great walking / view area at Los lobos, as well as 17 mile drive.

Dania’s home was lovely! It was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend away. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive into town from the home. The drive to and from town goes fast and is well worth the isolation and peace you get at the home. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring an eye mask as the wonderful windows let in lots of wonderful natural light!

The condo was great. We had an issue with the master bathroom shower but Bjorn took care of it right away the same day that it was noticed. The location of this condo is perfect. Right on the ocean and within walking distance for dining, shopping, and several things to do on the ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone.

We have been coming to Pajaro Dunes for 37 years. Our family loves it. This house needs some attending to. In one of the downstairs showers, the soap dish on the wall was broken. You need to be VERY VERY careful. My nephew cut his thumb and needed to get stitches. I was told I could check in before the rain started, but the office hadn't unlocked the house on their end. I had to drive back to the check in office and ended up getting wet while unpacking the car. Not the end of the world, but a little irritating. It took quite awhile to figure out the space heaters, some did not work. Kitchen pots and pans need updating - bring your own!! We had a great time and lots of great memories continue for our family.

Our family had a great time staying here! The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and stocked with all the supplies we needed! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of space, the kitchen was great and we appreciated the coffee bar and pans for cooking. The living room is a fun place to chill and the condo is super close to the pool and tennis courts and the beach! Vincent was friendly and easy to communicate with and check in and check out was very easy. Hoping to stay again in the future!

We’re a family of four with young kids, and we had a fantastic stay! The home is spotless, beautifully decorated, and the kids’ room with the trundle bed was absolutely perfect for our little ones. While there was some occasional noise from neighbors and street traffic, and unloading the car from the parking behind the building was a bit of a juggle, these were minor things compared to all the positives. The short and easy walk to the beach was such a highlight — it made everything so convenient and fun! We created wonderful family memories here and would happily stay again.

This was our third stay at Monterey Dunes and our first during winter. The home was very cozy and perfect for our family on four adults and two grandkids. Kitchen was well supplied and updated quality appliances. Beds were comfortable with great mattresses. Beach was just steps away although we we there during tide warnings so stayed close to the dunes. Great spot for relaxation, a very private beach, and home cooking. Not the best spot if you’re looking for fancy restaurants.

We do family trips pretty often. And honestly, this was our favorite trip so far. The home is better than the photos, which didn't do it justice even though they look great. The view and beach access were incredible. This was a perfect spot for the kids to play on the beach. We'll definitely be making this property a regular stop for us in the future.

Wir haben 8 Wochen in Beckys wunderbaren Strandhaus gelebt und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir konnten vom Wohnzimmer aus auf den Pacific schauen und die Wale beobachten - großartig! Abends haben wir immer einen Spaziergang zum Strand gemacht; barfuss natürlich, da wir nur 3 Minuten bis zur wunderschönen Düne brauchten. Becky hat Ihr Haus sehr geschmackvoll im Stil eines wunderschönen Beachhouse eingerichtet und der einer Düne nachempfundene Garten mit super Sitzgelegenheiten war auch für unsere Kinder ein toller Spielplatz! Nicht zu vergessen; es gibt in Del Monte Beach eine tolle Nachbarschaft, in der wir jetzt immer noch wohnen!

Clean and spacious place. Quirky but perfect for us. But if a drive to anyplace except the slough and beach.

Karin's place has a beautiful view, nice hot tub and outdoor shower area to use, and is a well stocked kitchen with everything you'd possibly need. We appreciated the location being between Carmel and Big Sur which allowed us to explore in both directions. My only complaint is that it is a very expensive stay - we paid $680/night for a shared space with owners on the same property and the many reminders about taking out the trash, not overusing electricity, and no shoes in the house. We are always respectful and treat everyone's place as we would our own - but felt like for the price point of what we paid, we shouldn't be asked to take the trash out, etc. Feels like for that price-point these things should all be included so we can relax without feeling like we needed to be mindful of every little detail. Again, great place, but it was definitely a big splurge for us!

Place was great--fit our needs perfectly. Recommend opening windows at night to bring in that beautiful fresh air. Our 4.5 yo was absolutely over the moon by all the activities outside in the yard-- very well equipped area for adults and kids alike! The sand toys were also a hit--we loved walking to the beach and appreciated how well written the instructions were. Just took a photo of them and went on our way. Only bummer is the lack of sidewalks in Aptos, but most cars do seem to watch for walkers. Marianne's ice cream is great, and tamales across the street also fantastic. Weather cooperated and the easy access to Santa Cruz and Monterey made this location ideal. Colm was a great host--responded immediately to any questions I had. Very thankful for this spring break trip--we truly feel rejuvenated!

Ian and his brother Ryan were excellent hosts! They were extremely communicative, which I always very much appreciate. I loved the brightness of each room, one with a large window and the other with a french door to a spacious backyard. We felt very comfortable in the home and also loved the live plants in the kitchen area. The kitchen has nice pots and pans, a few spices to cook with, and all needed utensils. We always cook when we travel, so it was great to have all of these needs met! The beds were comfortable, and the couch was nice and cozy as well :) Great location too!

The house was in the best location, just a short walk from the Point (less than a block). The sound and smell of the ocean were clear from the time we stepped out of the car. The house is surprisingly spacious. From the outside, it looks like a little charming beach cottage, but once you enter the gate, you are greeted with a hidden wonderland with all the amenities you would expect at a fancy home. The private yard has a private outdoor shower nook, hot tub, outside fire, and TV. The outside space is well designed and laid out for living and entertaining in the warm evening sea breeze. The covered space includes outdoor couches, a fireplace, and a large outside dining table steps away from the gas barbecue (which worked great) to cook dinner on our first night. The magic continues inside with very clean, sleak and extremely functional interior spaces. The living room and kitchen are open to each other and warm and inviting with plenty of comfortable seating. Its amazing all around!

Jackie was very nice. She let us know that some minor repairs were being done while we were there and even brought us some very delicious pastries!

En easy breezy (literally, great ocean breeze) for a family of 4 teens and two parents to stretch out and enjoy one another and our own spaces. Hot Tub was a crowd pleaser. Steve was a clear communicator.
