Loved the property and the lake! Easy to feel at home and was a very private spot. Beautiful water and so fun to rent the pontoon and use the paddle boards. Would definitely recommend!

Corey is such a wonderful host. Great communication, easy check in and you’ll find everything you need to make yourself at home after a long car trip. We alway look forward to our stay in this cute cabin in the woods and reliable hospitality from our host! Beautiful, natural setting, visited by cranes, fish, and turtles, during our stay. Cozy, rustic cabin. Had everything we needed for a group of 8 to enjoy a week at one of the loveliest lakes on the chain. Two canoes, 2 kayaks, a dock and a raft were perfectly adequate. Our bed was comfortable. The screened porch was a highlight. Our host, Margaret, was communicative and flexible.

We had a lovely winter weekend at Eric’s place. The space was clean and just as it was described. Eric was communicative for any questions we had promptly. We commuted to Granite Peak which was do-able but would love to visit again in the summer for the lake!

We had a wonderful time here! This is a beautiful place! John was extremely nice and had great recommendations for us. Place is much bigger than we expected. We will definitely come back here!

Had a great time, plenty of space for everyone. Very nice having 3 kitchens and 4 bathrooms. Everyone was able to do their own thing without being on top of each other.

Lisa was a very responsive host and had great local recommendations. This is a cute house on the river, nicely decorated and close to the downtown area. Would stay here again

Country lane cottage was a lovely Chain O’ lakes find. Being a frequent Waupaca visitor and renter, my family and I have stayed at many different cottages. This house did not disappoint. It was nice, spacious, clean and on a great piece of property. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed Dake Lake, as we usually stay on Mccrossen. The lake was clean and somewhat sandy in the shallow waters. It had beautiful sunsets and great fishing. The pontoon boat was fabulous, as were the kayaks and paddle boards. It was an excellent place for a family vacation with my small children. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the Lion on Sunset Lake! Marcia is a great host-very kind, helpful and quick to respond. The house was clean, very well appointed and stocked with everything you can think of. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of fun, extra amenities to enjoy both inside and out. The screen porch was our favorite spot! We enjoyed the game room as well. We'd have no hesitation to book this place again!!

The property was perfect for our family! We loved that we were able to dock our boat right at the property so that we were able to easily boat daily. Pat and Yvonne were so friendly and welcoming. The outdoor appeal was by far my favorite. We were able to enjoy coffee in the courtyard every morning and a great bonfire in the evenings. Wednesday and Sunday night there are ski shows that take place right in front do the property so we had a front row seat for all the action. We loved being on the river for the week. Such a good experience.

My family had a wonderful stay at Will's cottage. The house was spotlessly clean. The yard was fun for my grandkids and we had plenty of room to eat most of our meals outside. Furniture and beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals. We liked the location and enjoyed the live music across the lake. It was nice to be on a no wake lake where we didn't need to worry about speed boats when the kids were swimming. We would love to come back next year.

The moment I stepped into the cottage I felt right at home. The living area is nice and cozy. The kitchen has everything that you need for cooking dinner or just making breakfast. The beds were actually comfortable and the linens were very nice too. The two full sized bathrooms were so nice. My favorite part of this entire place is the screened in porch. It was so nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning and just stare at the water as well as the view. We did venture down to the lake but of course it was too cold to swim. We are considering renting this place again during the summer so that we can fully enjoy the lake too. Lorie and Siri were wonderful hosts and answered our questions immediately.

What a beautiful spot. We used the firepit on a chilly night and we felt right at home. The first aid kit on hand at the property helped when I got a spider bite. We loved staying here and we will come back in the future!

Darren's lake cottage is perfect for experiencing lake life. The provided kayaks and row boat are fun to take out and enjoy the lake. Many mornings and evenings the lake looks like a mirror. There is nice library of reference books on birds, animals and fauna that is seen at the cottage. The cottageis located close to 3 villages all with a different vibe. Then there are the Chain of Lakes by Waupaca, Wi. a very popular destination. I didn'tknow 3 weeks could go so fast. Darren is a great host. Quick to respond to anything you need.
