The beautiful restoration work on the exterior of the mansion is simply amazing. The interior was more modern than expected, but clean, bright, and well designed. The location was terrific. The Q-Line was truly within walking distance and we used it to go south on Woodward Ave. to shops and restaurants. We also picked were able to easily pick up the People Mover (after taking the Q-line south to Grand Circus Park) and move above locations on its route without driving. There are many architectural marvels within sight of the Edmond. Additionally there are restaurants, bars, and bakeries within distance as well. It was a very nice stay and a perfect location.

Came to town for a concert and saw this property available. Has great parking and conveniently located to central events in the area. The host was super responsive and helpful. If I were to visit again I’d stay see if this property was available.

Nice central location with easy street parking. A quick walk to DIA; we drove everywhere else. Space was bigger than we expected from the photos. Great kitchen!

The apartment was exactly as described. You will have to watch your head as majority of the ceilings are slanted due to the character of the home (I am 5’2 and my husband is 6ft). Very clean. I loved learning about the history of the house. There was a great information binder about the home restoration and restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed The Roost (coffee shop right around the corner). Bed was more comfortable than expected. Shower had good pressure and was hot. Roku Tv so you will have to sign into your accounts. We were able to walk downtown but it took some time. Overall great price for a place close to downtown

This is a great place to stay when in Grosse Pointe. Clean, comfortable and very quiet. The Keurig was well stocked. Private parking in the back was an added perk.

My husband and I came to Detroit to see Jack White at the Masonic Temple! This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for us! The Airbnb was beautiful, clean, and had a ton of amenities! We loved the special touches from the host! We parked in the parking garage a street over recommended by the host. It was $20 and we left the car overnight no problems! We didn’t use our car while there as we were able to get a Lyft or walk with how close everything was to the Airbnb. It was nice to walk after the concert to a local restaurant and then right to the Airbnb after a late dinner and drinks. The host messaged checking in throughout our stay which was so kind and appreciated! This is probably the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Detroit I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Incredibly close location to all of the sporting venues. Historic house that’s been fully renovated. Overall, a great value.

It was a tremendous weekend. Sam was a tremendous host and I do not regret anything from the trip. He communicates and very dependable.

I had a wonderful stay at Joeleo’s place! The apartment was clean and the location was peaceful for studying and leisure. I am a student and the atmosphere made studying easier. Joeleo was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and helpful throughout my stay. The communication was smooth and prompt which made the booking process hassle-free. I especially appreciated Joeleo going above and beyond during my long term stay. Highly recommend staying here!

The condo was near our family in Livonia and was perfect, had enough room for two teenagers, everyone had their privacy, full kitchen and other amenities which made our stay convenient, great location, new appliances, etc., would stay at Northville Township Condo the next time we are in Michigan. We hosted my bachelorette at Sam’s place and had a great time. It was local to everything we planned and Ubers were reasonable to downtown. There is a bit of street activity at night and at the empty lot next door which could be a turn off, but nobody cause any problems and minded their own business. The neighbors that the unit is shared with were not seen until the next day and we had no problems getting a bit of sleep. I recommend Sam’s place as a budget friendly rental, especially if you are out on the town most of the day/night.

Sam was a great host. athe house was clean Neighborhood did look a little sketchy at night but we were safe..10 min drive to down town Will be booking again

I would definitely stay and book again, I was more than comfortable. I had a great stay, Sam always responded to my text and he was very helpful. I couldn’t have ask for a better stay for me and my pup.

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. Amazing views and cool downtown location! Excellent communication from the hosts and located conveniently just a few blocks down from downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again!

Ruth Ellen's place is a gem! It is located near anything you might want or need but feels private and secluded. As a plus, Ruth Ellen is wonderful and is an excellent communicator.

Great place, nice, big, and clean in a safe gated community. Great people and great hosts. Walid and Lubna were very friendly and welcoming. Best experience ever!.
