We booked the whole house for us and our adult children and spouses for a family wedding nearby. There was plenty of room and closet space , as well as clean bathrooms and a clean kitchen. the front porch is a great area to sit and relax! Adam was always in contact and followed up promply after check in and check out. Would definitely recommend. Lots places to eat and hang out within a 10 min drive.

came in town from Alabama for the holiday with family. The house was very nice and clean. We had to contact host and she was very quick to respond. We were very pleased with our stay and the home.Only thing I could say is it would have been nice to have some Christmas decorations but we are all adults so it was not a big deal. We will definitely consider staying there again when come back to town in the future.

The Blacksmith is such a cozy, nicely decorated, well stocked home. It was spacious with each room having comfortable, nice looking furniture. It was easy to locate, park and enter. We loved the walkable location on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Jerrel responded quickly and thoughtfully to any messages and was proactive in offering information and help if needed. It was extremely clean and neat. The front porch offered an enjoyable view of the many passing horse and buggies. And we viewed a gorgeous sunset from the front yard. We enjoyed our stay so much! We had a great time. Lots to do in Amish country. House was close to restaurants and Amish theater. Nice size table for playing card games.

Easy to locate and just a short drive from College of Wooster. Parking in driveway is easy to figure out and near the entrance to the upstairs apartment. The photos showing low sloped ceilings are accurate. I'm short (5'4") and some areas, especially the bathroom, felt low to me. The place was clean and tidy. If you are sensitive to plug in air fresheners the one behind the tv is easy to reach and remove. Carol's upstairs apartment was a nice place to spend a quick night.

My friend and I booked this adorable historic home for a slower-paced get-away for my friend's birthday. It surpassed our expectations. It turned into a 2-day retreat that allowed us to slow down, soak up nature's healing beauty around the farm and neighborhood and watch spring come alive! The weather cooperated for a full day of outdoor dining at Anna's back patio table setting, take leisurely walks around the farm to visit the two beautiful jersey cows and relaxed barn cats and watch the spring dances of the birds in their trees in their yard at their bird feeders. We saw the most beautiful pair of bluebirds trying to find the perfect location for their family nest! There were many small, quaint towns around the area if one wanted to take a few short trips to investigate. We choose to have a "stay-cation" on the farm and enjoy the surrounding beauty, without TV or electronics interfering. We use Desiree s beautiful home , as a "home-base" to visit our grandchildren and our son and dtr in law and respective family. We have such a peace of mind knowing her home will always be pristine , and she herself , will always be so welcoming. To be able to have such reliability and consistency and comfort when we travel so far , means the world to us. Thank you !
