Stayed here with some mates for a business retreat and it was absolutely perfect. Stunning location, beautiful surroundings, gorgeous cabin, super comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms and fantastic decor. Loved every aspect of it.

Needed a short break from city life & this was perfect. Location was tranquil, accommodation had everything I needed & the hot tub was quick & easy to use. I only rated it more expensive as I was solo - if 2 were staying it would have been great value. Thank you for a lovely getaway!

Wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. Hot tub was on and ready, even though I booked late, beautiful views and everything you need inside to be a home away from home. Will visit again! :)

We had a great stay at Ducks Lodge! Keith was friendly and helpful, and the space was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a perfect touch, and we loved having a place to store our bikes. Highly recommend!

The only down fall is the hot tub was over chlorined and was unattainable because of this.

Such a stunning spot. The view out over the valley is beautiful. The lovely Alfriston is a 5 minute walk away with delicious pubs and restaurants. Great walks directly from the lodge and no need to get in your car. Hot tub was great once we got it up to temperature with a bit of help from Mandy which was appreciated! Really recommend and we’d love to return one day.

A perfect example of a top-notch cabin, with a state-of-the-art hot tub, in an idyllic corner of the countryside. One of the best boltholes around. Simply glorious!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the lodge. Beautiful space to relax. Excellent communication prior meant everything was straight forward and clear. We will likely stay again!

I recently stayed at this awesome wood cabin and had such a great time. The location is super peaceful, perfect for getting away from everything. The owners were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was cozy and had all the basics for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay!

A wonderful little cabin in an amazing location. There's a walking trail that starts right outside the door and many other places nearby that are worth a visit. The countryside is very peaceful compared to more visited areas like Surrey Hills. When arriving, for the last few metres don't trust Google maps, but look at the little map on airbnb

Amazing venue for a relaxing weekend away. Fantastic hosts who recommended great activities and local pubs. Very responsive to my many questions and very welcoming on arrival. Would highly recommend!

Nice chalet in a nice location, and convenient for a wedding we were attending in nearby Benenden. Clean, warm and good value for us because the two bedrooms and fact that we could self cater our breakfast made it all up less expensive compared to two rooms in a hotel/pub/guesthouse. Our friends booked the other two chalets which was lovely as we were 3 families together and we enjoyed seeing the horses as we took our morning coffee.

Sehr schönes Haus, still gelegen, ruhig, im kleinen Bad fehlt eine Ablage und Handtuchhalter, sonst alles super.

Was such a lovely place to stay! Would highly recommend to anyone that just wants to have a nice little escape and enjoy some lovely scenery and some peace and quiet :)

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely shepherd’s hut! The hut itself was modern, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable getaway. The host went the extra mile by leaving us a welcome bottle of champagne, which was such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy retreat. I’ll definitely be back!

I loved this little place- the indoor/outdoor living is very refreshing and the view is endlessly beautiful from the cabin. Everything is really well though through from very well prepped fire lighting material to storage and so on. Hosts kind and thoughtful. Thank you.

The kids and I had a lovely night away and particularly enjoyed the space and friendly animals on site!

Honestly one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in, it was more like a boutique hotel room. It's beautiful and so comfy. Jo has put a huge amount of effort into the cabin. She's thought about all the little details - and the little treat on arrival was so welcome. Everything you need for a few nights away. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I didn't want to leave! Jo checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and responded very quickly. Fab host! Really hope to stay again!

Cabin was bigger than I expected and was easy to find, in a very quiet location next to a green space and not far from the beach. It is thoughtfully set up with a small kitchen facility and plenty of crockery, and I'm always grateful for fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was available although we didn't have much time for it. The shower was a bit tricky to work and there's not much room in the bathroom for washbags, but all was neat, clean and tidy and the choice of shower gel and toiletries was appreciated. The cabin is a short walk from the town and beach on a quiet road. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would be happy to use it again.
