We completely agree and echo all of the reviews, a fabulous weekend in faultless accommodation and in an idyllic location. A perfect garden for our dog Archie, and for breakfast with the sheep opposite! Highly recommend the Stable, and thank you Sally.

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation with nice views. We were given clear instructions and met on arrival. The fireplace Waa an added bonus. Not far from the Spa Valley railway and other attractions. Recommend for a weekend away or even a longer stay.

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. Already recommended ‘The Old Barn’ to a friend! Thank you 😊

We had a fabulous weekend at the Piggery, it was the perfect getaway for a bit of relaxation and chill time. We loved everything about it, clean ,tidy with all the amenities we needed. The outside seating areas to enjoy the sunshine looking over the meadow were stunning . Thankyou for a great stay we would definitely return for another break.

Absolutely pristine accommodation in beautiful secluded surroundings and yet only 10 minutes walk to the station for Hastings and Battle. Accommodation was really well equipped and extremely clean. Fantastic stay, cannot recommended enough.

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

We came from NZ, stayed for a month whilst visiting family nearby. We were very impressed with this cottage, it’s very comfortable and spacious. Having two double beds was great. Appreciated the travel cot and baby gate at top of stairs. The kitchen is large and well equipped, had everything we needed for the nights we wanted to cook. Easy off street parking right outside the house. The hosts were really accomodating and easy to deal with. It’s a beautiful place to stay and we hope to return again.

My 5 year old daughter and I spent a night here and it was absolutely blissful. She woke up and immediately wanted to see the lambs and spend time with a dog wandering around. We will be back as both she and I enjoyed it so much. Charlotte was so kind and even gave me some toothpaste I'd forgotten. Book if you can!

If you’re reading this review and considering making a reservation, stop scrolling, don’t bother looking at other properties and just book Painters Forstal. The house has been there for 478 years at time of writing this and on our trip here we’ve created more life long family memories that add to this incredible historic and amazing home. We are just back from a few blissful days at Judin's cottage. This was by far the loveliest airbnb house we have stayed in. Travelling with two small (and noisy!) children can be stressful but we felt instantly relaxed, and at home, and Sarah and Mark were perfect hosts. The cottage was so beautifully furnished, with such comfortable beds, and there were so many lovely touches, that made it feel like a boutique hotel. The highlights were collecting fresh eggs in the morning and making friends with the sheep. Our daughter misses her favourite sheep called 'biscuit'! We were blessed by the most gorgeous weather but this beautiful cottage would be special at any time of year and we would love to come back!

Had an amazing stay at Jane’s Old Stable on the farm. We received instructions on how to find the place beforehand and it was easy to find. The property has great views from the bedroom, was clean and had everything you needed for a stay including coal and wood for cooking outside. It was nice to admire the views and animals with a cup of tea sitting in the front garden in the morning. We enjoyed cooking and eating outside, and toasting marshmallows whilst looking at the stars. Kids especially loved the pool and hot tub. There were plenty of pool toys for them to play with. They enjoyed reading the books, playing games both inside and in the outdoor games room. We got to feed the fishes in the stream, stroke the horses, learn about the bantam hens and the kids even collected a freshly laid egg with Jane which was amazing. We had a couple of issues with the hot tub and each time Jane was quick to respond and fix the issue. Would highly recommend a stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hut! The place was clean, cozy, and surrounded by nature — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always quick to respond. I would definitely love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

This is the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in and it was well worth the price we paid. It’s a totally private and unique experience and EVERY single detail has been considered for your enjoyment. The whole place is fantastic from the pod itself to the hot tub and bathroom. Our expectations were far exceeded, providing an airfryer, full sized fridge, coffee machine, projector even provided fresh eggs from their onsite hen’s. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever had I wanted to take that home with us. Listening to the horses gallop and a visit from Reggie the cat was just a bonus. Waking up to the sunrise, we didn’t shut the curtains for that reason. Charlotte lit the hot tub before our arrival and gave us a late check out as we arrived a little late. I would love to spend a week here. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much we will definitely be returning!

Place was clean and had all the equipment you need for a holiday get away. Hosts were on hand to answer any questions and very friendly. Place is set in a beautiful quiet part of country side.

The Pool Shed was exactly what we needed for a weekend break. An absolutely gorgeous place in a stunning location. The recommendations from Toby and Kate were really helpful and they were impeccable hosts. Cannot fault anything! Our dog also absolutely loved it - lots of space to run around and a lovely welcome from our hosts who clearly love dogs. Just marvellous, thank you Toby and Kate - we’ll be back!

We had such a brilliant stay. Chris and Erick are lovely hosts and are there to help but leave you to very much enjoy your stay. The flat was gorgeous and really had everything we needed, it was spotless and very warm and cosy, the view is amazing too. The leisure facilities were incredible, hands down the best we’ve ever had in the UK (and we’ve stayed in lots or air bnbs). The pool is just perfect and gym, hot tub and steam room were wonderful too. The local area is great, loads to do, plus you’re in a country park so you can literally go on gorgeous walks right out of the front door.

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

Waggoner cottage is set in the beautiful countryside and was so peaceful. We enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer, this hidden gem is perfect if you’re looking to get away from every day stresses or just like somewhere which is peacefully quiet with some nice walks. The cottage it’s self has everything you need for your stay with home comforts, an open fire, under floor heating in the kitchen, a good shower, and the most comfortable bed. I actually forgot how dark it is with no light pollution!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was lovely and Christopher is a wonderful host.

Lovely little barn, with beautiful views. Vivienne let us book very last minute and yet she still bought all lovely goodies for breakfast. Vivienne is one of the nicest hosts we have met. Our Labrador loved it. There’s a lovely walk to the local pub. Only 20 mins drive from Rye. Will definitely return.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, gorgeous, comfortable and spacious.... 3 of us stayed for a conference in Horsham and absolutely loved everything about Blackberry Annexe. Star gazing under unpolluted skies, sunshine all day on the patio, owls.... horses to look at too. It was perfect in every way.

Perfect stay! Alison and her husband are lovely people who were very helpful during our stay, easy check in and welcomed with some wine and biscuits 🍪 The barn is lovely with all the kitchen essentials you would need, lovely comfortable bed and board games. Loved the sheep view from the bedroom window, great powerful hot shower and good WiFi. The place was easily accessible we just had an issue with our maps but one quick call to Alison and she came out in the rain to find us. Great location, 25 minute drive to the Seven Sisters car park, walking distance to the pub just down the road. Will definitely be returning
