This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

I had a short stay here whilst walking Offas Dyke Path - the location is excellant, just off the path itself. Kristy's place was super clean with lots of little extras. I had a lovely relaxing stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location with easy access to all amenities. Added bonus was the private south facing back garden. Very enjoyable weekend break and would definitely recommend.

Excellent location for Alton Towers. Cosy cottage with everything needed for a short stay, several pubs in walking distance and a convenience store close by. There is no dining table (apart from outside).

Me and my partner spent a great 2 nights here, it was perfectly clean with everything we needed. Super cosy with the fire on and lovely personal touches like the information booklet, renovation story, and hot chocolate bar! Would definitely recommend and would love to come again!

Such a beautiful home! A gentleman comes to look after the animals on site and I can’t remember his name but he was so lovely and helpful! Zoe and Julia are both really responsive and super helpful with everything. Definitely will book here again! The house was really clean and felt homely

Great find. Beautiful and clean and did us right fine and proud. Kitchen was really well equipped and spacious. Rooms were all really light and comfy. Absolutely lovely gaff. Thanks for having us.
