This was such a cute place for a weekend getaway! Paige was really easy to communicate with about accommodating our needs in the booking process. It's really close to town and an easy drive to things we wanted to see. We wanted to do a lot outside in the area but ended up having a rainy weekend. It still turned out to be the perfect place to hunker down in and feel cozy. The kitchen had plenty of cookware so making dinner was easy and we had fun playing card games in the living room after. The river is right outside in the back too, which I imagine is incredible all the time, but it was roaring with the weather we had making it even more amazing. Too bad the rain stopped us from using the fire pit! All the more reason to come back for a future visit!

We had a great time at the cabin! It’s a wonderful spot to get away and relax surrounded by nature. We even saw snow on our last 2 days (exciting for us since we don’t get much where we live). Snowshoe ski resort is about an hour away and easy to get to as well as several really pretty hikes. Otherwise there is not much around. We brought all our food and cooked our meals at the house - every kitchen utensil you could need was provided. If you’re like me and have a lot of dietary restrictions make sure to bring your speciality items as the local grocery store might not have it. Definitely recommend for a cozy weekend away. Thank you for sharing your home, it was just what we needed.

The front porch in is a must when staying in Richwood especially when traveling with guest or family. We all had more than enough personal and communal space. The house is a beautifully kept piece of WV history. Susan was so helpful, and welcoming. Thank you for all the hospitality. Can’t wait to come back.

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay and the owners were very kind and even let us borrow a fishing pole. This is our first BNB experience and they made it very positive! We plan to go back 😊

This place was GREAT ! Very clean, peaceful setting, and beautifully decorated. Delores was the best host. She even sent a note to see how the fishing was going and an updated stocking report to help us decide where to fish. I would give this place more stars if I was able. I will definitely be back.

Better than a hotel and worth the price. Near the bee run recreation center. Was able to make food and have a great time with my kids. Very clean and had just what we needed.

The Radfords were extremely friendly and responsive. They were proactive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay as it was very peaceful and quiet. Being right on the river brings a sense of tranquility. We will certainly be back!
