This apartment was clean, beautiful and just as described. The air conditioning worked very well, as did all of the amenities. The WiFi was sufficient for all four of us to be on devices without issue. Having 2.5 baths was convenient. The mattresses were firm. The washer/dryer was very nice. The pool and workout facilities were immaculate. George was a gracious host--met us as arrival and checked in with us via text during our stay to make sure things were going well. The 24-hour security were friendly and helpful at the gate. We were able to order Uber rides or walk to the nearby malls, where you can also exchange foreign currency. There's a good variety of restaurants within a 1 mile radius, so we picked a different one almost every night! Overall, we had a lovely stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

It was a perfect place for our family weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. I liked the tranquility, atmosphere and amenities at Sam’s cottage. Thanks to Sam for having us. I would love to come again.

Eliz's place has such stunning views and is in a calm and peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay here. The house is as described and so spacious with air conditioning, internet and cable tv. The housekeepers Mary and Gertrude were so attentive and helpful. Eliz went out of her way to accommodate some extra needs for which we are so grateful. The pool and the upstairs balcony are just fabulous! We spent hours there. Thanks so much Eliz. Look forward to another stay in McCarthy Hill next time. Note: This house is some distance(35-45 min) from the center of Accra, but well worth it for the comfort, if distance is not a primary concern.

Perfect Stay! This one-bedroom apartment was an absolute gem! The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay and the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The location was ideal for me, close to everything I wanted to see and do. Overall, a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway or a work trip. I felt right at home and will definitely be returning. Jennifer‘s Villa on McCarthy Hill is a excellent stay if you enjoy peace and quit and a gorgeous view of the salt ponds and parts and the city. The entire house is exactly as pictured and we were really really happy there. Beds we’re comfy and clean. The house is literally a Villa, very large rooms all with their own ensuite bathrooms. The caretaker cleans the community areas daily (before we woke up everyday). He also cleaned our room, we simply had to arrange that at our convenience with him. There is lots to do in the area and lots to see like Bortianor beach is a 20min car ride and you can also use the driver with the hosts car for a minimal fee, just let Jenniffer know a day ahead if you need the service. Joseph, the caretaker of the house, is very pleasant and super helpful if you need anything while you are in the house. He even gave our family a quick twi lesson which came in handy the next day when we met new locals LOL Internet worked excellently, Netflix and other channels were readily available which our kids were very excited about. Rooms all have working Ac‘s which our kids enjoyed as well LOL Check-in and Check- out went smoothly and it was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back soon 🌺❤️

We were absolutely thrilled with this gorgeous apartment. Even if you don’t run the aircon the apartment is cool and has great fans. Everything is new and modern. The swim centre and gym is just down the road and you can walk to west hills malls in about 15 mins or 5 mins in the car. We stayed for a month in June July 2024 and it felt like home - we didn’t want to leave! We will stay again every year when we come to Ghana. Host also has local manger who meets u on site for key collection and to show u around which is really helpful. Definitely 5 stars and host is super helpful. Highly recommended!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible retreat with our family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house is meticulously designed for relaxation, comfort, and tranquility, making it the perfect escape. Whether you’re looking out from the living room, the bedroom, or even the patio, the views are either soothing or downright breathtaking. The experience was made even more special by the wonderful people who took care of us. Yaaw, the caretaker, was always ready to help, and his knowledge of botany and local plants is impressive—if you’re a plant enthusiast, make sure to chat with him! And then there’s Patience, the cook, who prepared mouthwatering meals for us. Trust us, opting for the meal service is a must; her dishes are simply divine. Every effort was made to ensure our stay was nothing short of delightful. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
