Stepping into the cabin, the smell of pine acted as an immediate relaxant. Everything was there for a relaxing stay, from the screened in porch to the hot tub. The huge assortment of games was perfect when our plans changed due to cool, rainy weather, and we ended up spending more time indoors than we had planned. We enjoyed our stay and made many good memories with our family.

This was a last minute trip and we were limited on the places available. This turned out to be a perfect location. It is off the beaten path but close enough to the parks and beautiful scenery. The home had everything we needed. It was well equipped. We enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill. Orbix glass studio is right down the road and Little River Canyon is too. Fort Payne isn’t too far for shopping.

I had an amazing stay at this house! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and spacious everything was. The house is exactly as described in the listing. The living areas were comfortable, and the kitchen has everything to cook meals during a stay. The location is also fantastic – quiet and peaceful, yet close to local shops and restaurants Our host was incredibly communicative and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved Katie's charming mid-century home! It was perfect for my family & I! We were there visiting my son @ UAH! Location is perfect! 10 mins from most everything all while being on the beautiful Monte Santo Mountains! Katie was very communicative & even asked if we forgot anything that she could get for us! So sweet & thoughtful! Highly recommend!!!

I have stayed at this home twice now for a week each and both times were great. Lee is a responsive host and super helpful. The place is super clean inside and cute. I had a wonderful stay each time. The neighborhood isn’t great but I didn’t spend any time outside so it didn’t bother me much.

We had a wonderful stay in this house! I loved the high ceilings, fans, quality furnishings, commanding views of Lake Allatoona, big porch with dining table, deep outdoor sofa, hot tub, and first rate kitchen. One morning, the host brought us hot fritters. Yum. She also found a bicycle pump for us. We appreciated all the hospitality!

We felt at home! Rachel was on top of any need we may have. I took my 85 year old grandmother with me, Rachel checked on Granny several times to make sure she was comfortable with everything. We really appreciated her making sure we were comfortable and pleased with everything. Rachel was a great host! We couldn't be more pleased. The family is planning a trip in October. We will be staying there again if it’s available. If you are looking for a peaceful place to spend the weekend, I would most definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed for three nights with my wife and thee children (two toddlers and a baby). Nice clean and comfy place in a quiet neighborhood, especially for this price range where you typically get apartments or shared guest houses.
