We had a fabtastic time- we ordered dinner in every night through the manager and it was so delicious, fresh and plentiful. The housebis surrounded by the most beautiful views and the pool is glorious. Finally, the accommodation manager was incredibly kind and helpful and really went out of his way to help us throughout our stay, and we cant thank him enough for his help when our baby was a bit unwell and needed to see q doctor. Thank you for everything!

I was at the Villa for five days with my two kids. It was everything we needed and more as we explored weligama while really enjoying our stay in the Villa. The view is outside the world, words can’t describe the peace and tranquility of this beautiful place. Peacocks flew in every day - the sunsets are absolutely mesmerizing and you can hear the waves all the time. It’s next to the most beautiful restaurant called the Cliff which has beautiful views and an amazing food/drinks menu as well Anders was amazing helping us get settled and the villa care taker helped us get tuk tuks, cabs and also recommendations for places to visit. Beautiful energy. Please stay in this beautiful place if you get a chance. My kids and I will always cherish the memory of this place

Villa sepalika is truly a place that you only leave with a heavy heart. It’s a beautifully done house, with sprawling gardens and a gorgeous lap pool (to burn off the calories from their incredible meals). JC was proactive in reaching out prior to our visit, and on checking in. The staff - including the manager bandara - go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We had some of our best sri lankan meals here, with an array of exotic vegetables and fresh fish. Breakfasts were a massive and colourful spread. Our group of 6 (a couple in their late 30s and our parents) all found enough to do in and around the villa, and each felt thoroughly pampered. We couldn’t have asked for more and hope to be back very soon

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We loved it here! Thank you so much to all the team

We feel a bit teary writing this as Nalaka and his family now feel like a bit of a family to us. Our Sri Lankan family 🥰 We could not have asked for a better experience staying in Serene Cottage. We turned up to pure paradise and stayed for 10 nights, but it could have been longer. The house is down a quiet road in a rural village. It is pure peace. The bedrooms and wonderful, with super comfortable beds. The terrace is 10/10, nothing beats a morning coffee sitting out there. We could not fault the stay... and we could not fault Nalaka and his family. They went above and beyond at every moment. They made us a delicious breakfast everymorning, they helped arranging days out and taxi's, they even cooked us a dinner for my mums Birthday - something we will never forget. My sister had an accident and ended up in hospital, they were there straight away helping and supporting. This family have created a home away from home that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. We will be back!

This place is absolutely amazing! The space is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The photos simply do not do the house justice. A beautiful villa tucked into the treetops where you can watch the monkeys in the trees and enjoy the unique microclimate that being at height brings. Beautifully furnished, the house feels private yet is only a five minute Tuk Tuk ride away from stunning beaches and five minutes further to Galle. Communication with the host was perfect and there were clear instructions, guides and tips for things to do in the local area. We’ve been coming to Sri Lanka as a family for ten years and wish we’d found this house sooner. A big thank you to Sunethra for your wonderful daily cooking and introducing our daughter to new foods every day and to Chathuranga for tips and local knowledge. Lastly to Chloe the dog who completed our vacation perfectly. Already can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

Nous avons passé un séjour très « détendant » La maison est tout juste incroyable et magnifique, les espaces de vie sont très spacieux, la piscine à débordement est grande et le jardin luxuriant est splendide avec un paon qui venait nous rendre visite : un havre de paix Tout était beau sans compter les bons petits dîners préparés par Nayana et la serviabilité de Ushan Nous recommandons fortement

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

A beautiful, secluded holiday home with all necessities for a staycation; located near tourist hot spots. From the beautifully landscaped garden to the tastefully decorated villa interior, one could easily notice that each item in the house had been handpicked and that effort had gone into the organisation of the villa: from sunscreen made available at the pool to universal plug points scattered through the house to fresh flowers on every table. Villa staff were exceptionally helpful, specially Ashanti and Shashika who were diligent but also polite & discreet. The chef prepared excellent food - our group had fussy eaters and each and every one was content including kids. There was an unscheduled power cut on one of the days and the host immediately refunded the day’s charge and took the further step of complementing our dinner for the day and offering to organise(and pay) a day trip or to spend the day at a nearby hotel. 10/10 will recommend.

Great villa & amazing staff. The chef and the workers were amazing and super helpful. The place was clean and well cared after. The villa has four master bedroom, two are connected while the other two are separated and far apart, important to note if traveling with kids.

The Mugatiya is a very special place. We stayed with family friends for a week and had the holiday of a lifetime. Ahangama is a chilled place with some very cool bars and restaurants here and there. I wouldn't say that the beach is walkable due to kids and the heat but tuktuks are easily arranged.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an amazing villa that exceeded all my expectations. This place truly had everything one could ask for in a luxury getaway. The villa was fully equipped with modern amenities, from a well-stocked kitchen to a spacious and comfortable living area, and even a private pool. It was like a home away from home, but with added elegance and style. What really made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. They were not only professional and efficient but also genuinely kind and helpful. Anytime we needed assistance or had a question, they were always there to help with a smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring we had the best experience possible was evident in everything they did. Overall, my stay at this villa was nothing short of spectacular. With its top-notch facilities and exceptional staff, it provided an ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable vacation. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone♥️

The Old Clove House is a beautifully restored house set in a very private, lush yard with a stunning pool. The open-air house has lots of space for lounging together but its rooms also provide lots of privacy. The outdoor dining table is where our favourite memories were made because the meals at the Old Clove House were to die for. We are serious foodies and we were blown away at every meal. From simple but beautiful and nourishing breakfasts of fresh fruit, smoothies and crepes, to delicious lunches and dinners cooked with the freshest ingredients, the food is something we will miss the most! We are vegetarian and Tai and Pradeep blew our minds with their creativity at every meal. Highlights were the Sri Lankan curries and hoppers, the gado gado salad and amazing spring rolls, the best hummus and fresh pesto dips ever, and our magical Christmas dinner of Ottolenghi inspired dishes. Another highlight was Pradeep - the kindest man always with a smile on his face! We will be back!

Erg mooi en fijn verblijf en kwam helemaal overeen met de foto’s. We kwamen iets eerder aan en ze waren alles helemaal aan het schoonmaken. We mochten de spullen ergens neerzetten zodat we nog even wat konden eten. Host reageer snel en fijne communicatie.

L’hôtel a ouvert il y a deux mois. C’est fait avec beaucoup de goût. Ça ressemble aux photos. Le lit est très confortable. J’ai apprécié la petite piscine qui est restée fraîche malgré la chaleur. Ça faisait beaucoup de bien de s’y trempé. Un soir il y a eu une coupure de courant sur toute la ville. Heureusement l’hôtel dispose d’un générateur et le confort est resté au top. C’est un endroit calme. Pas de bruit de fétards. On est au bord d’une rivière et à trois minutes à pied de la plage. 👍🏻 Je dois signaler qu’il y a cependant une route d’un côté et de l’autre les chemins de fer. Mais personnellement cela ne m’a absolument pas dérangée. Merci à Kasun qui a été très professionnel et sympathique.🙏 Je retournerai sans hésiter et je recommande ce lieu. 🤗

We loved our stay at Telo! The villa was beautiful and the perfect little haven to come back to in between exploring Ahangama and its surrounding areas. It was exactly as described in the photos. It’s a little bit away from the main area of ahangama which we really loved as it meant it was nice and peaceful at night. We rented a scooter to get around and would highly recommend. The team onsite were super helpful in organising everything for us too! We’ll hopefully be back! :)

we loved our stay here, Nidesh was responsive and flexible. The pool was amazing and it was cleaned every morning. great location, just a tuktuk away from the beach

I was blown away with the welcome on arrival, after many hours of travel. The villa is stunning and we all felt very comfortable and well looked after during our stay. Chari and his team were always friendly, helpful and attentive. We were expecting to be self sufficient at the villa, however the breakfast/dinner options that Chari & team provided were so delicious and made life convenient that we opted for this most days. The area is fairly quiet, but is good for families looking for chill time. Matara right/left surf spot is also 2 mins walk away, which can be viewed from the bottom of the garden!

The place is beautiful-I actually don’t think the photos do it justice. The ladies who help out at the villa were wonderful, so caring and great with the kids. Always made the house spotless and cooked delicious food. Unawatuna is definitely the nicest beach which is about 10/ 15 minutes in a TUK- Tuk, the driver the villa recommended was so reliable and a great tour guide! There are some amazing toys for the kids which kept them entertained for hours, and meant we could actually lie and soak it all up for a bit! Very special memories made!

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

We were 2 couples travelling together. Sashike & his beautiful wife welcomed us. Fabulous villa walking distance to some lovely restaurants. We got a Tuk Tuk to turtle beach in Talpe around 5 mins away - get there just after 9am to feed these gorgeous creatures. Would highly recommend staying here!
