Dieser Ort ist ein absolutes Paradies! Es ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos hier. Der Pool ist wunderschön und man bekommt sehr leckeres Frühstück, wenn man es vorher ankündigt. Vom Bett aus kann man die Wellen hören und draußen auf einer Liege entspannen. Ruzaik ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer zur Stelle war und uns Unternehmungen empfohlen hat. Da wir ein einjähriges Kind dabei hatten und unser Zimmer noch nicht fertig war, durften wir in ein anderes Zimmer zum Ausruhen und wir bekamen direkt Wasser, Kekse und Früchte gebraucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

We had the most incredible stay with Ishu and her wonderful family! From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family—welcomed with open arms by Mum, Dad, Granddad, Grandma, and their lovely daughters. Traveling with a 1-year-old, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our little one was so well cared for, and the kids played together like lifelong friends. The house itself was spacious with a big garden that made our stay even more special. It’s just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, and having Mama’s Café around the corner was a fantastic bonus for great local food. Ishu also speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. On top of everything, they arranged airport transfer and helped us get around with ease—such a thoughtful touch that made our trip stress-free. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming stay with a true home-away-from-home feeling, look no further. We can’t wait to return! Bohoma sthuthi :)

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse i Mirissa! Nona var en väldigt hjälpsam värdinna, hon tog med oss på utflykter utifrån våra önskemål och kom med rekommendationer om Mirissa. Boendet låg väldigt nära stranden och restauranger, men det var ändå lugnt på kvällen och natten. Jag rekommenderar verkligen Nonas boende och längtar redan efter att åka tillbaka till Mirissa 😍 ☀️ 🏝️

It was fantastic stay! We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets 🥰 Garden was so beautiful! We love when there are a lot of light in the house and that's the right option. The host was so nice and kind! We adore our dinner and his caring in general. Place is really quiet and cozy. We slept so well. We found breathtaking beach near the house. No crowds and worries at all! Only small turtles and blue waves. We also recommend "Kat's coffee" place, great food and drinks, worth visiting. Our first experience in Sri Lanka was amazing because of this house!

We stayed at the second floor of the villa with an awesome view of the ocean and perfect location, a three minute walk to the beach. We communicated with the owner’s dad every day. He was super helpful and made us breakfasts. Our children played with his granddaughter every day. A very welcoming family, they live next to the property and always there to fix any issues. Three bedrooms with air con and nice veranda to sit and watch the ocean. Loved it.

Shamil var väldigt trevlig och enkel att kommunicera med. Boendet ligger centralt och nära både strand och huvudgatan med restauranger och supermarket. Vardagsrummet är lite mörkt utan fönster men stora altandörrar till balkongen. Vi var mestadels ute hela dagarna ändå.

Erg mooi en fijn verblijf en kwam helemaal overeen met de foto’s. We kwamen iets eerder aan en ze waren alles helemaal aan het schoonmaken. We mochten de spullen ergens neerzetten zodat we nog even wat konden eten. Host reageer snel en fijne communicatie.

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

Our stay at Kaya Cottage was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings and peaceful ambiance welcomed by peacocks and birds. The private pool was a highlight—perfect for a relaxing dip at any time of the day. The spacious living area was tastefully designed, creating a cozy atmosphere. We also loved the huge, well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a delightful experience. The cottage itself was impeccably maintained, with attention to detail in every corner. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the open living space, or simply soaking in the serenity, every moment was truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

Sunil's place was nothing short of exotic and luxurious. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with chilled coconut water — a thoughtful and refreshing touch. The villa was immaculate and incredibly comfortable, featuring a spacious master bedroom with breathtaking ocean views, along with two other well-appointed rooms, each with its own attached bathroom. The private swimming pool was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing dip. The kitchen was decently stocked, and we were treated to a delicious breakfast of toast, omelets, and fresh fruits in the morning. One of the highlights was the villa’s beachfront location — a serene and picturesque stretch of beach where we even had the rare pleasure of spotting turtles in the waves. Overall, our stay was luxurious, peaceful, and truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. Simply the best property we have ever hired on Airbnb or elsewhere. The house is AMAZING. Service was impeccable. Really perfect. Thanks Colleen and thanks to Nissanka and Dammika for their help throughout our stay in Galle.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der White House Lodge sehr genossen. Wir haben uns schnell wie zuhause gefühlt in der grosszügigen Wohnung. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Die schöne grosse Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein. Janaka und seine Familie haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben interessante Gespräche geführt. Unsere beiden gleich alten Söhne haben sich angefreundet, vielleicht eine Freundschaft fürs Leben? Das Internet funktioniert sehr gut, perfekt um zwischendurch zu arbeiten. Janaka hat unsere Ferien mit Tipps für Ausflüge bereichert. Sewwandi hat sehr lecker für uns gekocht, vielen Dank dafür! Preis-Leistung ist top! Wir kommen wieder.

Beautiful beach access. Not private/secret at all, but you can retreat to the villa. The space itself is a juxtaposition of old/new and clean/dirty. It's an odd but charming place but the fresh breeze and sounds of waves crashing make up for everything.

We were a family group of seven, and the house was perfect for us. It was close to the beach and restaurants, yet still quiet and peaceful. Ashkar was great—very responsive, kind, and flexible. He provided us with everything we needed.

You will enjoy the stay at Nimal. Place is close to Unwatuna beach 20 min walking and almost 7 min by TukTuk. The place is spacious and you can find everything you need. The area is calm, relaxing and safe. Thank you and will definitely come again

Jula & Suranga were proactive in their communication with us, they contacted us right after the booking was confirmed to check if we needed any help coming to Sri Lanka. Suranga arranged the airport pick up for us and suggested a bunch of local restaurants and sights to see. They were very kind to arrange a local breakfast for us one of the mornings, which was delicious. We had help with everything we needed and Suranga always checked in via text to see if everything was ok. I would highly recommend this property for people coming to Galle looking for a quiet place to stay.

Die Unterkunft mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern war ideal für uns mit unseren Freunden. Es gibt einen großen überdachten Platz draußen wo man kochen, essen und relaxen kann. Direkt gegenüber gibt es einen kleinen Laden und zum Strand sind es nur 2 Min. zu Fuß. Durch das vorgelagerte Riff sind die Wellen nicht so hoch und man kann gut schwimmen. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit leckeren Köstlichkeiten von Ruwans Frau überrascht und auch abends haben wir uns einmal bekochen lassen. Wenn du keinen Rummel und keinen Luxus brauchst, sondern lieber ruhig unter den Einheimischen wohnen möchtest, bist du hier genau richtig. Ruwan wird dir in allem was du brauchst weiterhelfen.

Мы жили с Muditha более 2х недель, все очень понравилось начиная с заселения и продолжая помощью, которую хозяин оказывал. Muditha всегда был на связи как и его сын Мани, любые вопросы решались быстро и легко, с ними очень приятно и весело общаться . Muditha помог нам с организацией путешествия вглубь острова и посоветовал отличного гида. Во дворе очень красиво, все соседи приветливые и дружелюбные, рядом несколько ресторанов, которые нам очень полюбились. В доме очень комфортно, кондиционер всегда работал, окна со всех сторон и личный балкончик создали впечталение личного пентхауса, очень надеюсь еще вернуться сюда
