We had an amazing stay at TheBlues. Thank-you Janaka for making us feel so welcome and great communication throughout out stay, and to the lovely, friendly housemaids Nishani and Anousha who took care of us and cooked lovely meals whenever we wanted. The house is great, it's like staying in the jungle with monkeys jumping around in the trees whilst we enioyed the large pool. And the beautiful beach with turtles is very close-by, as are shops and cafes. Thoroughly recommend this beautiful property and Janaka as a host.

Le logement de Sylvie à Galle est tout simplement incroyable ! Nous avons passé une semaine magique dans ce petit coin de paradis. Le cadre est exceptionnel, avec un jardin luxuriant qui invite à la détente et à l’émerveillement. La vie sauvage qui entoure le lieu est fascinante : nous avons eu la chance d’observer une multitude d’animaux, des oiseaux colorés aux singes, en passant par des écureuils et même quelques varans. Chaque matin, le chant des oiseaux nous réveillait, ajoutant une touche encore plus spéciale à notre séjour. Sylvie a créé un endroit unique où la nature est reine, et cela rend l’expérience absolument inoubliable. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement à tous les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Great property in a private local area but walking distance to restaurants, shops and beaches. We came for surfing and the host and property manager was very helpful and the waves in Ahangama were perfect and consistent every day. We like to cook so the kitchen and amenities were good. The pool was lovely to relax in during the afternoon when the winds were on shore. Security at night was also a bonus. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at JC's villa! The serene location, with monkeys in the distant trees and peacocks roaming the lawn, was complemented by a spacious house, vast grounds, and an enormous swimming pool that both the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed. A big thank you to Bandara and the team for taking such great care of us, and to JC for having us.

We stayed for a week and loved every minute! The location is perfect, peaceful and private but only a short Tuktuk ride from Ahangama town. It’s not traditional self-catering, so no kitchen access but the wonderful staff are on hand to make you whatever you like, no request too much! We had our own private firework display and the team installed full length mirrors for us when we realised there wasn’t one. Honestly the team are lovely, discreet but always there to help. The villa isn’t in the heart of town, but only 5 mins Tuktuk or 30 min walk, which for us on a family holiday was perfect, quiet in the evenings, but so easy to go to the lively bars and restaurants in town. We loved it here! Thank you so much to all the team

The listing is a match with all the details and amenities mentioned are provided. Cleanlisness is top notch and all things in the villa are very well thought. The host, Mike and Wally are super friendly and prompt on the response with any query. Shoutout to the G&T on the arrival. Oh also the furry babies are amazing and gentle. Location of the Airbnb itself is in a quaint corner, every morning you are woken up by the peacocks. Kitchen had all the necessary ingredients to cook up a meal. We had an absolutely lovely time. It’s certainly a repeat worthy experience for us. If you are looking to book this, definitely go for it.

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s house at Weligama, the most perfect situation, you can walk straight onto the Beach. Bianca was very good at getting back to any queries we had and recommending places to eat. They have a TukTuk which Dinu or Dasun will drive you around in, in the local area. Breakfast was delivered every morning and they kindly did our laundry for us. We could not recommend it more, very lucky people who get to stay at Absolute Beach Villa

This was our second time at Pepper Jungle House and there’s always a risk something that you loved before doesn’t quite shine as much second time round…no need to fear we loved it and probably more so because it felt like coming home! The lovely Sunethra and Chaturanga were there to welcome us and made us feel like we were at home. The villa, the views, the food (cooked with love by Sunethra), the wildlife, and the lovely Chloe (resident dog), the beautiful gardens (kept so well by Chaturanga), the delightful surrounding area and the friendly people were just what we needed after a hectic trip round Sri Lanka. I can’t recommend this place enough and defy anyone not to love their stay here. I hope I’m lucky enough to visit again.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Our stay in kumbura villa was so special. From the moment you pass the gate , see the staff welcoming you, walk to the main house and face the pool, we knew we had picked the right place for our vacation. The whole house set in this lush garden / jungle is magical, full of birds, peacocks, monkeys. Mangula made delicious meals despite one of us being gluten free. The rooms are spotless, all very designed, super comfortable bed and the usb charging points were a great added bonus. We felt so welcome and do hope to come back again soon

This place is beautiful beyond words. The staff here make it the ultimate holiday experience. The food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious both western and local food. This place is simply hospitality done well. We hope to return ❤️

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

Chris's villa felt like a home from home for our short stay, he and his team at the villa were amazing and so attentive to our party. Roshan is a wonderful chef and our breakfasts were so fresh and delicious. The BBQ that he organised for us next to the beach one evening was unbelievable, especially the whole butter fish and prawns. The villa is ideally situated in Unawatuna but we were also close enough to nip to Weligama on tuk-tuks to try surfing, and up to Galle for shopping and dining. Chris's team were more than happy to promptly assist with organising tuk tuks and van hire for us whenever we needed them. The pool at the villa was perfect for our kids to splash about in during the afternoons as it was shaded by then. They also loved finding hermit crabs at the beach and spotting chipmunks, geckos and even a monkey on the villa roof one morning. We would thoroughly recommend Chris's villa to anyone wanting a relaxing break in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka. Hope to be back soon!

Wunderschöne Anlage mit sauberem Pool und viel Grün herum. Die Zimmer und der Wohnbereich sind stilvoll eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Unsere Houskeeper und Köche haben uns wunderbar versorgt und uns kulinarisch verköstigt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Für unsere Kinder war eine Menge an Spielzeug da.

Wir sind absolut begeistert! Somar ist ein wunderschöner, liebevoll gepflegter Ort. Der tropische Garten und das wunderbare Pool lassen einem richtig gut entspannen. Wir haben das Haus mit Küche gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und reichlich. Die MitarbeiterInnen haben uns stets unterstützt und unseren kleinen Sohn bespaßt. Ganz in der Nähe sind schöne Strände, super Lokale und der Bahnhof Midigama für kleine Ausflüge zB nach Galle. Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Zeit und können Somar nur herzlich weiterempfehlen!

This is a newly opened hotel and it’s one of the best we’ve stayed in. Room with plunge pool was amazing. Spotlessly clean and ultra modern. Owner was always around property and very amenable. We had to ask for smaller portions at breakfast as we were being served a huge amount. Walk over the river and go across the road and there is a tuk tuk stand that will take you to Mirissa or the surf centre in Weligama for 600 rupees each way. Overall we were sad to be leaving .

I can not recommend a stay at The Casuarina Tree enough. Nestled in the quieter but perfectly accessible streets, this place is an absolute sanctuary with a luscious outdoor area for relaxing and an abundance of wildlife. The indoors is simply gorgeous and tastefully decorated, all rooms extremely spacious and everything you could need in the kitchen. Jeem the house manager stays in a separate quarter of the house and is very respectful of your space, we loved having him there. The most gentle man you will ever meet, he made us a delicious breakfast every morning and was on hand for any help we needed. The location is a perfect base for exploring this part of the south coast and within walking distance to the beach. We used a tuktuk driver that Jeem called, Tilanta! Take his number, we used him all week. And finally James is the best host and always on hand, we basically followed his recommendations and we had the perfect trip. Thank you for an amazing stay, it was a special one :)

The most delightful stay!!! The villa is beautiful with a wonderful pool and a view of the waves! It had everything we wanted. Our section of the beach isn’t really a swimming section due to the high waves but a few minutes walk away there is one. It is located very well for local restaurants and bars and a choice of supermarkets only a few minutes away in a tuk tuk. Right by the house is a tuk tuk stand which is so handy! The stand out for me though was the kindness and helpfulness from our hosts. They arranged cars, tickets for the doctors house and the most wonderful meal cooked by a chef! Thank you so much for the care you gave us. We hope to see you again soon !

que dire quand tout est parfait.... la maison est magnifique, la décoration très soignée, beaucoup de places. Mention spéciale pour tous les jeux et livres pour enfants mis à disposition ❤️ niveau propreté c'était plus que parfait, tout est nettoyé tous les jours par des dames charmantes et tout à fait discrètes. niveau personnel, tout le monde était incroyable : discret mais attentionné. Nous avons été traités comme des princes, la nourriture était excellente. Notre linge lavé quotidiennement. Le gestionnaire de Villa répond à toutes nos demandes (courses, excursions, tuktuk...). bref c'était une expérience formidable ! merci à tous 🙏🙏🤎🤎

Malaka and his whole family went above and beyond anything a host has to do. We checked in early as our flight was a morning one, we were greeted with fresh juice. They gave us loads of recommendations and Nalaka even took us in his own transport to a safari, which was a 2 hr drive. They drove us round to visit the local temple. The tv had a small problem and straight away it was resolved, to the extent a new tv was needed. They even cooked us a traditional Sri Lankan meal on our last night, and…they even got up at 05:00 to see us off to the airport, which they arranged the transport. It seemed nothing was any trouble for Nalaka and the whole family, we highly recommend coming here. As far as AirB&B goes, these hosts were the best we’ve encountered, and we’ve had a few 😎🙏
