We had a great stay at Patricia's . The hut we stayed in was small but adequate for our family of five. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a fridge to store some of the food that we brought onto the site. We all loved the site, especially the swimming pool and proximity to the beach. Patricia was very helpful with booking our safari and advising us when to go and for how long. She and her staff made us some delicious meals while we were there and made sure we felt well looked after. I'd recommend Patricia's place for anyone needing a place to stay whilst visiting the nearby national parks. Thank you Patricia and all at the Kirinda Beach house.

Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war sehr schön! Die Lage ist traumhaft – umgeben von Feldern, einem See und Bananenstauden, ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das größte Lob gebührt jedoch Rushan, der sich wirklich herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und seine Tante hat uns mit köstlichem Essen verwöhnt – das Essen war definitiv mein persönliches Highlight! Auch die von ihm organisierte Safari war super unkompliziert, und unser Guide im Park hat uns zu wirklich tollen Spots geführt. Der Pool war ebenfalls wunderschön, nur ein paar zusätzliche Liegen wären perfekt gewesen. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a lovely stay in the Ocean cottage! We really appreciated the pool, sunbeds and view! It was a really peaceful and calm surrounding. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and a smaller kitchen and dining area and also very friendly caretakers. We didn’t get the private chef but had good restaurants near by!

Saman’s place is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the surrounding scenic beauty. The small house is generously equipped and is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Saman is extremely communicative and helpful in arranging activities and transportation. The food offered at Saman’s was incredible, everything was home cooked, village-style Sri Lankan food. What a treat to have such authentic meals! Finally, the grounds and gardens are immaculate and border the bird sanctuary, which has an abundance of beautiful birds for viewing right from your front door.

Very nice property right by the ocean. We ordered a dinner for 6 people that was prepared at the house by the staff and it was very good. If there are a lot of waves it can be heard in the bedrooms at night, but other than that a very nice place and nice staff.

Jasims Villa ist traumhaft. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben - sauber, super komfortabel, einfach riesig und mit einem eigenem Strandzugang. Jasim war immer schnell zu erreichen und hat uns einen späteren Check-Out angeboten. Nuwan und seine liebe Frau leben vor Ort…seine Frau ist eine Superköchin. Du musst nicht auswärts essen. Sehr empfehlenswert :) wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Our group stayed 4 nights at Simon’s house in Kalemetiya. What a treat ! we felt like movie stars with their own private beach front home. The house is large and well appointed with 4 well spaced bedrooms with en suite. The house has a large lawn from the rear leading to the beach with a pool area a children’s pool, a covered veranda and then a small wooden fence leading to the ocean. We would get our massages in the covered area, listening to the waves and also do yoga there. Dinesh and Runi took amazing care of us. Rooney cooked our breakfast and did laundry and kept the place spotless. Dinesh arranged massages, recommended restaurants drove us to Colombo. He also hosted our driver and Guide. Simon, the host was responsive and flexible. In the morning, you could walk along the beach and see the villagers fishing with their traditional boats. The beach is very clean. It is very wavy and not the best place for swimming, but you can definitely take dips. An amazing place.

Die Unterkunft und der garten waren traumhaft. Wir waren gerade am neuen Jahr dort und es wurde zum Frühstück ein traditionelles Frühstück zubereitet. Der garten war riesig, man konnte immer wieder Bindenwarane sehen. In der nähe der Unterkunft war der bekannte Strand in Tangalle und wenn man Nachts Glück hat kann man riesen Schildkröten beobachten wie sie Eier legen. Der Restaurant ist bis um 20:30 offen das Essen war in Ordnung und war eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle Super freundlich. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder für Erholung/Entspannung war das Perfekt für uns.

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly
