Stayed a two nights in this gorgeous, peaceful and safe house. Amazing interior just like the photos. Felt right at home. Wifi was great! Janet was exceptional with any questions we had before and after the booking. Her dog was adorable, welcoming us with a hello in his language, so cute. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Home away from home, much needed! Definitely, we'll be back!

This is a really nice place to stay. It is in a private location which is right on the beach and we had no troubles with parking. We had two adults staying and found it a really nice size and everything that we needed was available - including skewers to make smores over the fire pit. When booking, I wondered if the bathroom would be awkward to access (based on the photos) but it absolutely wasn't and the shower had heaps of hot water and great pressure. Would definitely stay here again.

This stunning property is a true gem in Wellington, offering spectacular views of the city, harbor, and beyond from every single room. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was a dream come true—it felt like we were living in a postcard! The space itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed, with so many thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. From the cozy blankets to the well-stocked kitchen and by luxurious bathroom amenities, it’s clear that Sylvia, the host, has gone above and beyond to ensure her guests feel at home. Speaking of Sylvia, she was an absolute delight to communicate with—responsive, kind, and incredibly accommodating. We cannot recommend Roseneath Crown enough. This is the perfect place to stay. Thank you, Sylvia, for an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend.

A very warm and cosy little place. With original kitchen and bathroom, it was really quaint. But absoloutely spotless and clean.

Fabulous place, comfortable beds, excellent location, great communication, would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here mid- March, Petra is an amazing host and was incredibly welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed but also respected our privacy. The location is breathtaking! The property has beautiful large windows downstairs and upstairs that overlook the bay, and the two bathrooms made it easy traveling with teens. If we are ever back in this part of the world we would love to stay here again!

What an amazing place! You can literally walk out onto the beach. Just beautiful! Our family loved it, we can't wait to return one day! The sunsets were the best and sitting on the deck looking out to the sea was heavenly. Just book this place you won't regret it.

Julie is a great host and her house is beautiful. It’s so nice looking out at the ocean from the huge living room windows and the place is very cute. There is a bit of traffic noise in the bedrooms which you wouldn’t necessarily expect given the serene location but it’s not a big deal and definitely still worth staying.

A great place for our family to meet. Lisa was helpful with adjusting our booking requirements. The kids enjoyed the grass area. Very handy to have the bakery next door and cafe just down the road

I had a wonderful stay, it was magical sitting on the front porch watching the sun set over Wellington and equally magical having a cup of tea in the sunny garden in the morning. Kate was a great host, the cottage felt very welcoming. This a beautiful location and the cottage is charming. It is very comfortable and has everything you need but the shower is quite small, if you’re a large person it would be a tight fit.

Wunderschöne und sehr grosszügige Wohnung mit Terrasse und Blick auf die Bucht. Perfekte Lage! Sehr einfach zu erreichen und dank Parkplatz und Lift bis zur Wohnung auch für ältere oder Personen oder Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Not in central Wellington but in the beautiful Lyall Bay facing the sea lovely upstairs lounge to watch the waves crashing and the surfers. Don’t miss the lovely vegetarian restaurant the Botanist nearby and the great Parrot dog brewery with fantastic fish and chips street food opposite. Use the no 3 bus to get into town.
