Beautiful house in an amazing part of Wellington

Lovely house in the heart of Petone. I have stayed in Petone a few times before and this was my first Airbnb and will stay again if I visit. It’s right in between the foreshore and the Jackson Street restaurants. Easy walk to Petone station which is only a 15 minute ride to Wellington plus the train also goes to Upper/ Lower Hutt which was easy to see my friends who live there or have them down for dinner in Jackson Street.

What a beautiful house, definitely felt very Wellington! Love the area, loved the house, gave us a flavour of being a local. Kit was helpful and responsive. Thank you for having us!

Liem and Selena are great hosts - very responsive, friendly, and always available if you need anything. The place is spacious, cozy and comfortable, with everything necessary, you instantly feel like home. There’s also an amazing, quiet garden, perfect for enjoying breakfast! And if it’s rainy there’s a nice sunroom to enjoy the garden view! I genuinely enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend it:)

The location was great and I loved that it was fully fenced. The heated floors and heat pumps were excellent. Appreciated having groceries in the home to utilise on arrival such as dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and tea and coffee making facilities. Was a great stay with my family and we would happily stay again.

This is simply a wonderful home, and Eleanor is the best host. The villa is beautiful and comfortable—its architecture, furniture, and paintings are a true aesthetic delight. It was warm and cozy, with clear instructions provided. The city center is easy to reach by walking downhill, and on the way back, you can take the cable car up to the Botanic Garden, which is nearby. The rooms are spacious, the views are stunning, and the kitchen has everything you need. We are very happy that we had the chance to stay in such a place!

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and this house has one of the best views of any place we stayed at. Love the proximity to everything. The decor of the place and tranquility. House has everything you need. The driveway up to the house is very steep (even though I lived in San Francisco and should be used to it) so just be prepared to have a confident driver(it wasn't me:). Wellington driveways are like this generally though. We will come again!

Had an awesome stay at this place! So much room and had many choices of bedrooms and mattress types. One down side was only one toilet and shower in same room so was a cue for the toilet at times, however, 24hr macdonalds across the street was great for emergency toilet! Overall the space was lovely and comfortable and was just what we needed. Location was perfect for the event we were attending aswell as shops and restaurants :)

This place was great for a big group to catch up in. The location is nice and central to Welly. Sally was super proactive and responsive with everything.

Sally provided a place that exceeded our expectations. we had an absolutely wonderful time and can't fault her. As a Wellington resident for 14 years who booked it for his parents while they were travelling I can't recommend this enough. It's exactly what you need if you are here for a visit or a medium term stay. Thanks Sally!

I can't say enough about this apartment! It was a real privelege to be able to stay in such a gorgeous apartment. It is so stylish and luxe, absolutely gorgeous. It's bigger than what it appears in the photos. The beds and pillows were so comfortable with great linens. There is a wood pellet fire heater in the living room. Loved the separate sitting room with the soundbar for the tv. Location is amazing, just a few short steps to Cuba street with bars and restaurants everywhere. Short walk to the museum and the waterfront. I can't think of anywhere I have stayed with airbnb that's been as gorgeous and such a comfortable stay. Host was also very accomodating and responsive. Alexandra and Matt are very welcoming, as their house and their garden, also Frankie the cat. For us this wonderful place was the perfect start for our new zealand round trip. We now already miss the breakfast on the terrace. It was really pleasant to be your guests. We just can recommend this place. Thanks

Great location, handy to Botanic Gardens, local shops, central city and great access to motorway out of town and to airport. Drive on access with parking was very helpful. Sunny in the mornings and good heating when the weather turned cold. Kitchen very well supplied with everything that you need.

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Very accurate description on the listing of what it was like to stay with Allie in Wadestown. I was there for a fortnight and became adjusted to the routines yet felt very undisturbed. It really suited my requirements at the time.

Beautiful old house. Pics on here don't do the place justice, heaps of space and very comfy bed. Super close to the centre and within walking distance of all the places you'd want in Upper Hutt.

We had a fantastic stay at Wei’s place! The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. Communication with Wei was seamless—quick responses and very accommodating to any questions we had. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a stress-free and pleasant experience!
