Great location, wonderful home/space with a lovely quiet backyard and quiet neighborhood. Quick 2 block walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping and cafes on Jackson and not too far from the local grocery store. The beds and pillows were cozy, living area comfortable and kitchen had everything you needed to feel at home. When I return for my next holiday, I will definitely try to boom the cottage again. Excellent host, quick to response and had the sense she’d be available for any questions.

Great location, handy to Botanic Gardens, local shops, central city and great access to motorway out of town and to airport. Drive on access with parking was very helpful. Sunny in the mornings and good heating when the weather turned cold. Kitchen very well supplied with everything that you need.

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Beautiful old house. Pics on here don't do the place justice, heaps of space and very comfy bed. Super close to the centre and within walking distance of all the places you'd want in Upper Hutt.

From a host perspective, Huong was very responsive, flexible and accommodating to our needs. We had a group of 10 staying at this location and it was unique and allowed us to stay together for a family wedding. In general, the place was as described. There were a handful of maintenance and cleaning items that could have been improved, but these did not distract from our stay at all. We had a large group and the garbage/recycling was a bit of a challenge without a vehicle the first few days, but we managed that too. The home is distinct and one of a kind, with rich history. The long drive was a great test for us and Uber drivers alike!! The grounds provide its own opportunity to explore and do some hiking and such. The views are incredible. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here. I understand the property remains for sale and look forward to see how this unfolds.

This was a very comfortable villa. The sitting area off the kitchen is small but perfect for the morning. The downstairs living room is great for gathering to watch TV or just relax. Just note that all bedrooms are downstairs but one of the two full bathrooms is upstairs. The deck is very comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the homes on the hills in the distance. If you don’t want to drive, Uber is very quick to respond to the Villa and anywhere in town. We would recommend this home!

A great place close to the airport!! I checked in very late after a delayed flight, and Zoe made sure my check in instructions were a breeze. The room and bed were very comfortable and I slept great. Easy 5-10 minute flat walk to and from the airport which was ideal for me.

Sonia was an amazing host and human being!! I felt instantly at home, and she truly cares about her guests! She checked me in, gave me a run-through, and every detail has been accounted for--even the lights that are motion sensored when I had to walk to the restroom in the night! She was friendly and available, and also gave me privacy--the perfect combination. Her home is amazingly located--right outside of the business of the city, but a close drive, about 10 minutes. Close to restaurants, attractions, and the city centre. THE HOT TUB was incredible, as well as the indoor heating when needed! Her decor was amazing, everything was ultra clean, and I felt like family being there! I would 10/10 recommend and would love to stay in Sonia's home again one day!!
