Great traditional NZ bungalow with heaps of space and good off street parking. Short drive into Petone or Lower Hutt. The four of us all had an enjoyable stay.

This was a lovely spot at which to wind up our three weeks in NZ--closeby to family in Paraparaumu and all the delights of Kapiti Coast, but also an easy drive into the city for the airport. The views out to the Tasman sea and Kapiti are so special. It's a real taste of NZ beach bach life! The beds are very clean and comfortable, and we loved having the bonus of a bathtub after Airbnbs with showers only. The driveway is a little upward and winding in places, but if you take it easy, you will make it easily, and are rewarded with spectacular views and fantastic access to the beach. We walked down and up the driveway with kids to the beachfront easily. There is bird life and flowers all around you as you incline. We made it up in a big truck, and our friend made it up easily the next evening for dinner in a small sedan. We enjoyed the games and the beautiful dining area with wraparound views. Toni was kind, responsive, and helpful.

House was clean & well kept, matched pictures exactly. Comfortable beds & furniture. Convenient location just outside of Wellington city center. Very nice to have heating & cooling units in each room & laundry facilities. Hosts were responsive. Driveway is tricky to find & maneuver but we managed with a small SUV. Be sure to get instructions & pictures of where to turn into driveway. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, tidy home, friendly host! Highly recommend and would stay again. Only thing to note is that if you have a small dog who likes to explore, there are several places your doggo might be able to get through the fence, if they are small.

Do yourself a favour and stay at Hikaia’s beautiful period house in Wellington. Its location so close to the harbour and the city centre is ideal for anyone wishing to spend a few days wandering around the city. The house itself is beautifully restored with great attention paid to even the smallest details like period light switches and even toilet roll holders! I recommend this accommodation highly.

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was clean and felt cosy. The host was very responsive at all times and we had no issues. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

A fabulous place for a family holiday - my kids loved playing in the flat yard and with the beach about a minute or two walk away, it was easy to get the kids into the water and back. Raumati South four square and cafes just over 5 minutes walk away. The bach itself was well equipped with basic supplies and Amy is a wonderful host - proactive communicator and extremely kind and helpful.

Great house in a beautiful location. Excellent amenities, beautiful design, perfect for travelling with pups. A few notes: - The # of steps up to the unit might be underestimated by a factor of ~5. Not recommended unless you're reasonably fit. - The bedroom doors don't latch. There are hook-style locks provided....on the outside of the door. Not a huge deal, just means you need to shove something under the door if you want to keep the dogs from nosing their way in. - The water from the tap gets _really_ hot. This is great for some things (shaving) and less great for others (shower, dishwashing) Overall an excellent spot!

What a wonderful little spot away from all the city life but within close enough distance to get everywhere. It was a quiet and peaceful location, lovely neighbourhood and a really nice view of the mountains. The sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous and I’d be sure to stay here again when I come down next! The host was very caring and even let me check in earlier which was a bonus as I was tired from the morning. I hired a rental car and parked it on the street and it was more than safe, so for those who need to do the same I hope you worry less about that! Thanks again.

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Our stay at Anindita's property was fabulous. Anindita and her partner Neil were wonderful hosts. The property was clean, fully equipped and we had the most restful sleeps. The location was wonderful with public transport into the CBD of Wellington literally outside the front door. There were takeaways, supermarkets and other stores within walking distance. We had our gorgeous (well behaved dog with us) and he had a wonderful time. There was a fabulous doggy park literally a four minute walk from the property - perfect.

A beautiful place to stay where we were surrounded by nature and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing couple of days.

Mona’s place was perfect for our group. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t want to go out for dinner our first night but rather opted to stay in and enjoy the space. The next day was an easy walk to Cuba Mall, and other Wellington sights. A bag pipe was playing on our final morning at the War memorial which was a nice touch! Would highly recommend

We had a lovely 4 night stay. The hosts have exquisite taste, the furniture and styling is unique, and makes this property feel like a home, and not some generic airbnb. The outdoor area is obviously a highlight, the pool got a lot of use, the kids absolutely loved it. Also the sauna was a real treat too. The indoor/outdoor flow was great, and created a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. The playground was just across the road, and the beach a 5 min walk. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be keen to return.

What a wonderful, peaceful country home away from home. Belinda and family were so responsive and generous with farm/animal experiences for the kids. Tiny house is very comfortable and adaptable. Featherston around the corner with cozy places to eat and peruse.

We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

This home was beautiful and clean. Madeline was super helpful and response. Could not have asked for a better host of home. Thankyou for sharing your lovely place with us. We had the best time.
