Loved staying at Fionas bach. Super clean, fantastically equipt kitchen, sunny and warm, comfortable furniture. Books and games....view of the ocean and beach at end of garden. We will definitely be back!

This was a lovely spot at which to wind up our three weeks in NZ--closeby to family in Paraparaumu and all the delights of Kapiti Coast, but also an easy drive into the city for the airport. The views out to the Tasman sea and Kapiti are so special. It's a real taste of NZ beach bach life! The beds are very clean and comfortable, and we loved having the bonus of a bathtub after Airbnbs with showers only. The driveway is a little upward and winding in places, but if you take it easy, you will make it easily, and are rewarded with spectacular views and fantastic access to the beach. We walked down and up the driveway with kids to the beachfront easily. There is bird life and flowers all around you as you incline. We made it up in a big truck, and our friend made it up easily the next evening for dinner in a small sedan. We enjoyed the games and the beautiful dining area with wraparound views. Toni was kind, responsive, and helpful.

Had a great stay, place was perfect for our group (four adults, two dogs and an 18month old). Super well set up with everything you need for a nice stay (including a crib and highchair for bub) and some thoughtful little extra treats/surprises (including for the dogs!). Beautiful location and a lovely place to unwind. Hosts were lovely, excellent communication - very helpful and respnsive. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a nice time. The only downside (which is completely outside of the hosts control!) was that there was loud music played on the beach past midnight two out of the three nights we stayed. Probably an anomaly due to the long weekend, but wasn't expecting this given the reasonably remote location and wish I'd brought ear plugs with me as I did struggle to sleep. Didnt spoil our trip by any means though, and would definitely come back and stay again in future.

Stunning home in a lovely location! The beach access was fantastic. Spacious and comfortable. Perfect place to catch up with friends. Would book again and will be recommending others to book as well!

Great little place in a perfect location! Very close to the little cafe and on the bus route into to town. Cosy and comfortable space with a sunny deck and a view of the Cook Strait (and dolphins if you're lucky). Good communication form the host, very responsive and friendly.

Beautiful old house! It was in a great location and very walkable. There were a couple things in the kitchen to supplement cooking (oil and a couple spices) and everything you need for cooking meals. It was a bit noisy at night because it’s on a main road but everything else outweighed that.

What a view. So relaxing. Loved the large living space. Games room was great for the teens. Wonderful place to stay.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place with no restrictions, this is it! Do whatever you want—no rules, no stress. It’s nothing flashy, but if you just want a no-man’s-land kind of spot, it’s perfect. Great for families, especially if you’ve got a spoiled kid who needs space to run wild!

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Pool was great and the views even better. Owner in process of improving the driveway and provided fresh towels halfway through our stay. This was a minor quibble though. The bed was very clean and comfortable. Great proximity to beaches, shops and restaurants! We would book again!

Susan is a great host, it’s been our third stay at her property and we loved it! She was very flexible in our check-in and waited for us until we arrived from the ferry before midnight! We greatly appreciated it! The place is very clean, spacious and private, too. We would like to come back and certainly can recommend her place!

Nice apartment, comfortable bed, functional kitchen, TV with Netflix app. Several elevators available to go down to street below the terrace (we used the Cook Hotel access). Jeff cafe had reasonably priced/tasty Chinese food. Host was responsive to our requests. FYI -a little bit of road noise during the night, but we had no trouble sleeping.

Erin was a great host with good and clear communication. The house is the kind of Kiwi bach that you wish your grandparents had built! It has lots of space to sleep, eat. read, relax and play. The house has real character, a great garden and direct beach access. The location could really not be any better and our family of 6 had a fabulous three day break. We would wholeheartedly recommend and would happily return.

I had a wonderful stay, it was magical sitting on the front porch watching the sun set over Wellington and equally magical having a cup of tea in the sunny garden in the morning. Kate was a great host, the cottage felt very welcoming. This a beautiful location and the cottage is charming. It is very comfortable and has everything you need but the shower is quite small, if you’re a large person it would be a tight fit.

We had a great few days. The apartment was lovely, modern, clean, comfortable and we'll stocked. Lovely decor and we loved the artwork❤️What a perfect location, right across the road from the beach and walking distance to town. We walked to town via the beach each day. Luckily for us the weather was perfect and we had a lovely few days relaxing and also learning about Paekakariki, it's people and it's history. We found the local books were a great read. We would definitely come back again and refer to others, thankyou Cas😊❤️

Great little place to escape reality for a couple of days. Lovely peaceful area. Would be happy to visit again.

My children and I have been to stay here a few times now, and it's always a great experience. Cathy is very welcoming, and a great communicator. Plus, there is plenty of space, a well provisioned kitchen, comfortable beds, and we love that Mana Beach and the Camborne Walkway are right on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

Me and my family had an amazing time here! We enjoyed every bit of the house and also the view! The house was spotless clean and so spacious aswell. Definitely recommend and will definitely book again when it’s much warmer. Thanks Kelly for having us :)
