Irecently had the pleasure of staying at Sanjay's place in Kalimpong, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The property is not only beautifully maintained but also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Sanjay was an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and always available to assist with any queries or needs.

Place as described. Really lovely place.The views are unforgettable. Not recommended if you have mobility issues as the road leading up to the building is narrow, dark and uneven. Also steep climb to the main road. Great for younger people who have no issues with an uphill walk to the main road. The place itself is most highly recommended and of great value. Perfect for WFH, a mindful or romantic getaway.

Tranquil, that's how I felt at Eshab's Homestay. It was really a home away from home. The friendly doggos and the ever so attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Food at the restaurant was delicious, the never ending cups of steaming hot milk tea, the drizzle of the rain and the cold crisp air was perfect indeed. We were regaled with karaoke at their bar and restaurant, and on our last night, upon the owner's insistence, we even gave it a shot! We stayed for 4 nights and it was worth it. We did a fair bit of sightseeing (Pelling, Chakung etc) and leisurely walks up to the monastery and the falls. They even provide you with umbrellas! Everything was well managed by the kind staff - Alisha, Rohit, Susma, Kabita and a few others including the happy and helpful young men who drove us around ( namely RK, Pasang and Tashi) - and the pleasant and chatty owner, Kesang's dad who was a total sweetheart! Thank you to all of you for your care. X

Your local recommendations were also spot on and helped us to enjoy the trip even better. Though the location is a bit secluded but the property was clean and homely with all the listed amenities.

His warmth and kindness made me feel like I was visiting a relative rather than staying at a rental. Whether it was arranging home-cooked meals or assisting with local sightseeing. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be.

They were always available to provide tips for exploring Darjeeling and even helped arrange transportation, making our trip hassle-free. The pictures that you see on the listing do not do justice to this beautiful mountain village, tucked cosily in the laps of the great Himalayan mountains. There is a certain radiance to this place. The warmth with which Passang di and her family members greeted us made this experience extremely wholesome for me and my group of friends. If you wish to wake up to pristine views of gorgeous mountains alongside sounds of Nature, this is the place for you. Passang di has a beautifully curated garden space filled with flowers and plants of various kinds. The village has walkable paths which you can take to explore the quaint village called Syangbo. Dawa and Chotten bhai were the best guides! All of us felt right at home with the way we were welcomed. We even enjoyed a fun game of football with the locals in the evening. Passang di prepared fresh warm meals in her kitchen for us and we got to taste a variety of local dishes, which we all enjoyed thoroughly. A 100% recommend!

It’s a rare find and a perfect nature escape, full of lush greeneries, Flora and fauna, breathtaking views of the hills. Asan bani is a hidden gem which is underrated I feel. Management and stuff is super friendly and cooperative, As a couple privacy was our priority although it was met I would like to mention it’s not a independent farm house or bed and breakfast it’s an resort. Even thought it was a resort it felt great as we got all the help we needed to have a great vacation. We would surely be visiting this place with more to explore.

Aveek is a great host. The property is right on the river bank and has amazing sunsets. Great kitchen garden. Glass house is a highlight. Very peaceful, right place if you want to be away from hectic schedule and free from hustle and bustle. Just unwind. Caretakers and wonderful and very friendly behaviour. Amazing food and Aveek makes it special by taking requests and arrangements procuring stuff from local markets Definitely recommended.
