Our 2nd stay on Windrush Lake and 8 years in the South Cerney or Somerford Keynes areas. Great and quick travel from London to a place in the country - can’t beat it. The doorstep access to lake for paddle boards was the attraction. Beautiful outlook, open, quiet, walks and good local food. House and Host were welcoming and the you felt at ease. Couldn’t want for any items in the house and even got sun warm enough to have lunch outside in February. Will come again.

We had a great stay at Nicola’s place. She provided really useful information before we arrived so we could get in easily and felt right at home. The house was unbelievably well equipped, we cooked multiple meals in the kitchen and toys to suit all of our children ranging from 0-8. The cot and toddler bed were set up waiting and had linen which is so helpful! Nicola was very responsive and friendly. The estate has a restaurant on site, but they recommend booking particularly at weekends. There is an amazing outdoor pool, where we spent most of our time. For the indoor pool you need to be bang on time as it gets very busy! A perfect stay for us. Thank you

We had a wonderful time. The place is lovely and much nicer and bigger than the photos in my opinion. The host was really responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a trip with friends or family. Kitchen has more than enough glasses/pots/pans etc which was really helpful when cooking a meal for 6. Lovely space and I will be back :-)

A beautiful, modern lake side house with spacious open plan kitchen and living area with stunning views over the lake. The bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with birthday treats when we arrived, which were a nice touch. Impeccably clean, and decorated tastefully. Lots to do near by, but it felt secluded enough to enjoy a countryside feel. Thanks for letting us come, we had a great time. James was responsive and helpful when needed.

I booked this as a trip for my Dad as a surprise as he’s always so busy and deserved a nice weekend break :) he really loved it and had so much fun - he loves activities and had a great time with the fishing and archery. Di was a great host and really easy to contact - came through with great suggestions! Only issue we ran into was the hidden cutlery drawer and we only saw the email when we got home !!! But that was our issue for not reading the email - but maybe a note in the folder or a label on the drawer would be helpful? Overall LOVED it

Beautiful place to stay, very helpful information folder of the area. You could walk or drive to restaurants/bar. If the weather had been better we would have explored the lakes more. But we got out and about . Very clean and tidy place and everything inside that you could possibly want. We would definitely stay again . Thanks Frannie x

Lovely modern apartment attached to the owners centuries old home. Immaculate throughout and in a quiet location on the outskirts of Witney. On this occasion I used as a mid way stop off to travel into Southern England but this would be a great location to explore the Cotswolds and all it has to offer. Highly recommend and I hope I’ll be able to stay again in the future.

Fantastic stay at Edward’s. There were two of us so we used the guest room as a second bedroom. Stayed for 4 weeks whilst working at the theatre. Easy 20 min walk to city centre, close to shops, pubs etc. Absolutely lovely flat, warm, well equipped and very homely. Quiet location, free off road parking. Edward is a great host, very responsive and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you Edward! Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great location, right on the river, and just a short walk into the centre. Two good pubs/restaurants, a coffee shop and a convenience store are just steps away. The studio is very well equipped with a new kitchen and bathroom. Tea, coffee etc are provided together with washing up stuff. The smart tv has all the standard apps loaded and ready to log into. The bathroom towels are generous in size, hot water is plentiful and the shower is fab! The studio is compact but has everything you need for a stay in Oxford. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing weekend here! The property is even better than the photos. The flat was so cosy and well kept. The location is perfect- it’s an extremely peaceful area, but close enough to the town. The team were proactive, and gave thorough information so that we had all we need for our stay. We hope to return again one day!

Myself and three others had an amazing two-night stay at this apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The space was not only sparkling clean but also beautifully organized and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials yoy need. The cleanliness and comfort made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The location was convenient, the check-in process was really easy, and the host was friendly and responsive on the app. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the high standard of cleanliness. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pristine and comfortable stay!

ideal location for walking into wendover with it's amenities or out into the countryside. had everything we needed for a one night stay. hope to go back

Hazel and Andrew are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome with beautiful touches everywhere. The cottage is stunning and caters to your every need. We were provided with a lovely welcome package and Andrew was so helpful with teaching us to light the log burner. Great walks and we even tried the zip wire (age 56!). Sitting in the boathouse would be heaven - its so peaceful and beautiful. Beds were extremely comfortable with lovely linen and pillows. We really can't fault anything at all and will definitely be back. Recommending The Silver Plough to eat. It's a 2 mile walk there and back and more than worth it for the Sunday roast dinner (ask for extra roasties, they're free! I'm still devasted I didn't!!). Also Fisherton Mill in Salisbury - food is also outstanding! Thank you so much Hazel and Andrew, we've had the most wonderful long weekend to recharge our batteries xx

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. So spacious and well equipped. We loved the large terrace and barbecue. Having used Airbnb for a lot of years I can say this has been one of the best .

We loved staying at Dorney Cottage, the house is beautiful, it had plenty of room for our large group of 13 adults but still felt homely and warm. The garden is stunning. There was plenty of parking. Check in and out was really easy with the key box. Linda was easy to contact and quick to respond to our questions. Thank you Linda.

Lovely peaceful cottage with all the amenities you could need. Very relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony with views of the lake was the perfect switch off needed. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. Small gestures like supplying shampoo, hairdryers etc helps the ease of packing. Nice touches with the board games too. Communication with Chris and Alexandra was effective and fast. Very friendly. The estate this is on makes this place suitable for families as well as couples. We used the outdoor pool, tennis courts, football pitch and sat in the resturant for a coffee but the beauty of this place is the cottage is tucked away from it all so if you want to switch off from it all you can. We took a 40 minute walk into Ashton Keynes following the Thames trail. Very easy to find and follow. Thank you Chris and Alexandra. We will be recommending to others.

We went away for a long weekend as a family to recharge in half term. We have two energetic boys and a fast on-the-move baby. Even though the weather wasn’t very warm, the kids enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and there was plenty to do. We had access to the tennis courts, trampoline, grass football pitch, MUGA, x2 play parks, plenty of walking routes and an enclosed orchard grass area at the rear of the cottage. The kitchen was full of all the essentials and the extra touches of coffee pods, biscuits, jams and a bottle of Prosecco helped us feel right at home. We are quite a tall family so we did hit our heads a few times on the lower ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom - we would recommend reading the description thoroughly and be prepared to duck! The beds were comfy and warm and the towels were super soft. Bath and shower great. TV has Netflix and everything you need. The restaurant was lovely, kids menus too. We would definitely recommend to the young and old alike :)

We stayed at Crestyl cottage for two nights and it was absolutely perfect. The property was spotless and had everything you need. There were so many little touches that made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and helpful which made a huge difference. We would definitely love to stay at this property again for longer in the summer months.

An absolutely charming, well equipped cottage. As a young family the cottage was perfectly set up for our toddler with everything we could possibly need and more. She particularly loved playing with the toys you had left! Jason is the perfect host. Always super responsive, great recommendations and really thoughtful. Thank you so much for having us.
