We had an unforgettable weekend stay at this remarkable Airbnb nestled amidst the mountains. The serene natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. One of the highlights was unwinding in the hot tub under the stars, a truly magical experience. We also enjoyed using the pizza oven, which added a fun and delicious touch to our evenings. The tranquility of the location, combined with the beauty of nature, made our stay truly special. We highly recommend this mountain retreat to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with top-notch amenities and outstanding hospitality.

I took my wife for our anniversary. We both had an amazing time. Everything was Perfect!

The experience of the jacuzzi and sleeping under stars was absolutely unique! We enjoyed it very much! The only remark would be, is that we think it was slightly overpriced given our similar experience with other stays (around this period). Also, keep in mind for the summer that since the airco only starts at 09:30 am, it gets uncomfortably warm in the morning due to the greenhouse effect of the glass.

Amazing getaway in the mountains. Well equipped cabin with everything you need for a private getaway. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the massage in the cabin. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to getaway and relax for a couple of days.

This is a truly stunning place if you want to escape on a little getaway! Stunning views from the terrace and being off grid you get to use the wood fired pizza oven and hot tub for a relaxing time. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful!

Stunning location in Tulbagh over looking the mountains from your private cabin, waking up to beautiful sun rises from your bed every morning. The peace and serenity of this location was truly something special. They were also very helpful in providing documents of things to do in the area which was extremely useful to consult for finding available and high quality recommendations within the area

Cosy cabin with spectacular views of the Tulbagh mountains. Loved spending our days on the deck cooking on the gas braai and relaxing in the hot tub.

This is our 2nd time staying at the cabins and it’s everything and more. What an amazing experience with the 360 view of the mountains. Absolute peace and serenity. Highly recommend this stay, alittle tricky getting to the cabin in a little car but doable.

The perfect spot for a weekend away, exceeded our expectations. Great communication, the views of the mountains and wildlife were an unexpected bonus and the photos did not do justice to just how beautiful the accommodation was!

We spent our Anniversary there, the waterfall was incredible, we swam in the dam, went back to our cosy cottage, got into the hotub with some champers, looked up at the milky way, counted satellites and had the most unforgettable and romantic wedding anniversary. We will definitely go back. Thank you to the hosts for an incredible experience, what a beautiful location.

This place is an absolute must-stay for everyone! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a living painting: the views, the vibe, and the atmosphere are simply breathtaking. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you need for a perfect stay. What truly sets this place apart are the little details that make it feel like home: the friendly dogs, the adorable donkeys, and even the chickens you can cuddle. The food is incredible, the coffee is next-level (and also the coffee shakes and fresh juices), and every lunch felt like a treat. The owners and the host made our experience even more special with their warmth and hospitality. The massages were pure bliss, and to top it all off, the internet is lightning-fast: strong enough for remote working without any issues. Everything was beyond perfection, we could have stayed here forever!

Manus's cottage was perfect for our needs during our 3 week stay in Rocklands. It's in a central location to the boulders, but yet has a private and secluded feel. It's in a beautiful canyon that is separated from the main valley. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We really appreciated Manus's hospitality. I highly recommend considering this accommodation for your Rocklands trip!

Beautiful farm and surroundings in the mountains. The river has fantastic rock pools for keeping cool on hot days. Peaceful and relaxing 🙏

We had an incredible time at Nardouw. Perfect time of year, as the spring flowers were in bloom. The scenery and views are spectacular. The house has a stunning setting amongst giant boulders and was well equipped, with everything we needed. Five stars for the kingsize bed and fresh white cotton linen! Mario had thought of everything. We enjoyed the tour of the rooibos farm with the added bonus of beautiful wild flowers everywhere. The surprise gift was much appreciated and enjoyed! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

What an incredible stay. The view was genuinely breathtaking, the cabin was cozy and the silence of the wilderness was so refreshing. As two young women traveling, we felt perfectly safe at all times. Worth every cent, I would highly recommend this getaway :)

I needed a place to recover from illness and Langkloof Roses was a last minute booking after a disappointment from another site. I was accommodated at very short notice, was allowed to check in earlier and received a warm welcome. The place was more than shown on Airbnb or on their website. It is beautiful, serene and with all the creature comforts. I loved the Tea Room and the surprise of the breakfast included in the package (I did not read everything...). Wonderful food and such friendly people. It is a working farm in immaculate condition and without a doubt I will be returning - this is going to be my go-to place when I need time out. Thank you Jana and team!

We had an incredible stay at Stonewood Cabin! The surroundings are truly beautiful and it is the perfect place to chill out. We stopped for a swim at Tweede Tol on the way which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay here again, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind if you’re thinking of staying here: 1. The cabin is in a very remote area surrounded by wildlife which is beautiful. But, the baboons were pretty hectic. They damaged two of our cars and repeatedly tried to get into the cabin. We ended up having to keep all of the windows and doors closed at all times which was not ideal on a 35 degree day. 2. Other reviews mentioned the wind but it really is very loud. It’s a good idea to bring ear plugs to help with the noise at night. 3. The drive up is steep and a bit tricky but definitely manageable even with a small car. Overall, a great place to stay but do be prepared to be at one with nature!
