Sande is a warm, funny, caring host. Her interactions with those around her manifests itself with an ‘open door’ attitude and welcoming smile. I experienced personally her popularity with the locals. Having lived in Granity for 20 years she knows all the best places to explore. I went to Granity knowing no one, looking for a place of quiet contemplation and when I left after my five nights there, I felt like a local. Thank u Sande for the good times we had. I’m sorry Sande for being useless at the local Granity Trivial Pursuit derby. 🤣🩷👍

We had a great stay despite some rainy weather. Very peaceful place and lovely hosts.

This is a stunning place to stay .the views , the gardens amazing . There were 15 of us ranging in age from 1 year to 68.we booked all the cabins and the house. We had our meals around the big table and played cards every night. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds . Lots of games and books there. Elizabeth and Duan and children were lovely and very responsive to any queries. It was a good lesson for us townies to be mindful of our water use as it’s reliant on rain water. We all loved our stay there. A New Zealand paradise

Book it! We've been travelling for months now and staying in airbnbs almost the entire time. Sonyas place is the one we felt the most comfortable in, even though we didn't expect it at all - because of Hokitika not the airbnb. We only stopped for one night on the way back to Christchurch but would have happily stayed for much, much longer. The space itself is newly refurbished, is super comfortable and has everything you need and Hokitika itself is a hidden gem. You can see snowcapped mountains and the ocean (not from the airbnb) and the energy of the place is just right. We loved it!

Garett’s place was great! We stayed for a month and it had everything we needed. It has a nice yard and table out back, it had toys for the kids, and plenty of space. It was very comfortable! Very central location and close to parks and the grocery store! The Port Hills were only a 7 min drive as well! Thanks for the great place, we would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic house to stay in - modern, clean, excellent presentation, powerful showers, easy to follow communication.

The house was spacious that 6 of us were able to live comfortably. It was cosy, peaceful but the best thing was the view of the lake and mountains from rooms facing them! We loved how quiet the area was, not too far away from the places we intended to go during our stay here. Thank you!

Large comfy living space at front of house, leading out to deck with amazing view to coastline. Very comfortable & big kitchen with all you needed. Were a group of 7, and 1 couple slept in living area, but this was ok.

Jessie. Hard to put into words how profesional she was to deal with. This operation is a well oiled machine. For what we were doing we couldn’t have been more suited to the property. Me and my friends couldn’t stop talking about how perfect the house was for us when we were down there. And even on the group chats now we still discuss how the house made the trip. We will look to book the house once every 6 months just to make the most of it. If you take it down from air bnb can you please let us know and we will stop coming to Christchurch for Holidays!

We enjoyed our stay at Leeanne and David , it was a big enough house for our group, 2 couples and one single person Has 2 bathrooms and big sitting area in the lounge. There is no dining Table but it didn’t matter for us There is also a nice outdoor area which has a big Table with chairs Communication and check in was great
