Very comfortable and clean room with a wide balcony, as friendly as coming to your own home. Close to the city center, very convenient to go everywhere. I really enjoyed my stay here!!! :)

The place was very cosy and beautiful rural views out the back. it was right on the cycle trail and barely a 10 minute walk to the local cafe at Carters Beach where we could watch a beautiful sunset. The cafe Donaldos food was delicious. A very peaceful rural retreat

I booked Zoe's place for a business relocation. She was always very responsive when I message her and was very flexible for our requirements.

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

Absolutely beautiful home with everything you could need either supplied by the hosts or in walking distance to a shop nearby. Loved this place and would 100% stay again! Not to mention the host was super responsive when we needed a hand, went above and beyond.

Forest Lodge is the perfect get away for large groups. Huge kitchen, well equipped with anything you would need to feed an army. And great, cosy lounge. We were worried the bedrooms would be cold, but by following the instructions all went well and we were all toastie… no snow for us this time, but we look forward to coming back again next year! What a Wonderful Stay !!! Great in every way ....super clean ...layed out perfectly with an amazing yard. Fully equipped open kitchen ....incredible bath to soak after a long day ----fantastic location. It Truly has it all ! Beds were very compy .... and parking was amazing right in the driveway ---can't stay enough about this great place to stay while you visit CHCH ---Callum and Jazz were super hosts and very helpful ---don't hesitate to book it --- 10 outta 10.

We have just had the most incredible holiday staying at Anji’s place in Cass Bay. The location was so peaceful and serene. The house was perfect for our family of four (teenage children) and our doggie Morphy. It was the most relaxing and restorative holiday we’ve had as a family. Lots of sleeping in, reading books, playing board games, swimming in the bay, walking to Lyttelton, kayaking, BBQs and blissing out in the spa pool. Thank you so much Anji :)

We stayed at some great airbnbs on our tour in New Zealand and this one tied for the best. Loved that the cows came and checked us out when we first arrived plus three friendly dogs. Location is idyllic and peaceful. interior is very comfortable with two comfy beds nice furniture and a great TV. By the time we reached here we had driven the circumstance of the south island so it was so nice to just sit on the back deck and let the sun set while observing the sheep settling in for the night. Perfect! visited the local attraction shantytown which was an unexpected delight. Highly recommended!
