We had a great family stay at Huccaby Cottage. The location was perfect for days out and the added bonus of the indoor pool and play facilities was excellent! The cottage is great for little ones with everything you might need, stair gates, travel cots, high chair etc. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated after our journey on the motorway was very slow, the biscuits went down a treat! It was our first visit but certainly not our last, we’re already looking to book next year! Thank you for a fab weekend. X

we had a fantastic stay at Tom's place this Christmas! the house was perfect with everything we could possibly need. walking distance from the beach and pub was fab. thankyou for a wonderful stay and the hamper which had been left for our arrival it was much appreciated.

What a great place to stay, so close to the beaches, town and out of town. This place had everything we needed, beautifully laid out and equipped, comfy beds and really helpful hosts. We'd love to come back, it's been a treat to stay here, every detail thought of, thank you .

This place made for a great base and was good value; we were on a budget and it met all our needs. Beds were comfy and it never felt crowded with 7 of us staying. We could always get enough hot water and bedding and towels were clean. We never heard any noise outside or through walls. Sandra was very helpful and responsive and it was a lovely touch to arrive to milk, biscuits, tea and coffee.

We spent a week at the house with several generations and it was absolutely perfect. There are basically two separate living rooms which was brilliant. Great that we had our own bathrooms and the house is in a fantastic location. Loads of space, kitchen worked well and would recommend the house for a group that has different needs to cater to. The hosts were very responsive and left good instructions.

The house is lovely. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels supplied. Very quiet area. Would be even better in the summer. Only downside is not having dedicated parking but we found a spot just down the road.

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Enjoyed our stay, weather was really good for October too which definitely helped. In a great location in Ilfracombe with convenient walk to the harbour, local restaurants and shops. There is plenty to do in the area even at this time of year right at the end of the holiday season. The apartment is well equipped, homely, and clean. Host was responsive and friendly. Nothing to complain about, and would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay! What a lovely house. Clean and cosy with lovely decoration and details. Loved the soap, the scones, just everything was very thought out! Pictures don’t make it justice. There’s a very well equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer which saved our life on a rainy weekend. Ilfracombe is such a lovely town and this house is only 10min walk to the centre. We particularly loved the harbour and having drinks at The Lime Kiln terrace. Highly recommend!!

A lovely, clean, comfortable flat in an ideal location. Everything went smoothly and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Well equipped kitchen with all the basics provided for an easy, enjoyable stay.

Lou was a very proactive host giving very clear instructions. Really nice location just out of the bustle of Newquay but close enough to be a part of everything. Apartment had everything I needed. I'd definitely come back.

I was a long-term guest for 3 months at Mike’s place, and really enjoyed my time there whilst I finished my studies at Exeter Uni. Mike was very approachable and made every effort to make my stay as nice as possible. The place was very peaceful and private, and was exactly as described. It was very comfortable and welcoming to come back to after a long day of work. Thanks Mike, hope to stay again!

Excellent stay in New Polzeath. Easy access to local amenities. Having stayed in this apartment and other is the block a number of times over many years. Never disappointed! Lovely surroundings, quiet accommodation but only a short walk to Polzeath for surf and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes good surf and lots of places to eat and drink.

Great place. Second time staying here with my elderly father for Christmas. Was spotlessly clean with all the kitchen etc utensils needed. The scones, jam and clotted cream was a nice touch as we're the Christmas decorations. Arranged to check-in early at 4pm on Christmas eve. Is about a 15 minute walk from Exmouth station plus is on street parking (parking permit provided by host if needed). Very easy access to seafront/estuary mouth and small marina. Is also a pub opposite (not noisy) that does good food. Are a couple of mini-mart style shops about 400yards away. Exmouth centre a 15 minute walk. Would recommend

Martha’s place is very nice a cozy. Local to the town as well as out of the way so you feel some seclusion. The apartment was clean and tidy with clear instructions with a handy welcome booklet. Handy free parking space which helped massively. Martha was very friendly and responsive and was a delightful stay. Finding the apartment was not very easy. I struggled with the instructions but found it eventually. It could do with some lighting outside to help navigate the steps but my phone torch worked just as well. I really enjoyed my stay as did my dog was really nice with plenty to do within walking distance and short driving distance lots of dog friendly beaches, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

The Courtyard is just wonderful, we liked it so much we extended our stay by two days. Furniture and linen was a high standard and Jill had thought of everything. Heating and hot water was efficient and the beds so comfortable. Nespresso making machine, jet bath. Excellent and we plan to be back!

Great flat with easy access to everything in the centre of Woolacombe. Short walk to the beach (even with a surfboard!). Free parking. Easy to find and get access to the property. The flat is on the 3rd floor, but there aren't many steps and easy enough to get up there without any hassles. The flat is light and airy with good sized bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. Nice touch with tea, coffee, milk, cereals and biscuits on arrival. Great communication and fantastic host will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful location, decent sized apartment with lovely decor, close to major landmarks of Cornwall, especially of you are driving. And convenient parking location is included.

Anna's apartment is a great base if you are visiting Newquay. We stayed for a month and felt right at home. It's in a great location to reach all the main parts of Newquay and the outside area with a separate entrance is great if you are surfing and bringing back boards and wetsuits. We had some issues with the internet speeds but Anna was always responsive and helped get things back online. Highly recommend!
