The annex is clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Nice area, really peaceful. Sliding patio doors overlook the garden, with lots of trees and bird song. Very little other sound which is amazing for somewhere so close to Dorchester. Clear instructions for everything, lots of parking and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

Simply incredible property! The location could not be more perfect. I booked as it’s my husband and son’s dream sort of place, a little apprehensive about having little space myself, but there was an abundance of space! It’s so cleverly designed and it didn’t feel cramped at all, and watching the stars through the skylight on the mezzanine with the ocean sounds was just idyllic. Lovely little touches like tea/coffee/sugar and biscuits, and even in early Spring we only needed to pop the heater on for an hour or so in the night. Simply perfect and I can’t recommend it more (although I want to be able to return already)! Wonderful location for visiting the Ammonite Pavement and very easily walkable to the seafront with restaurants/shops etc (even with a toddler). Thank you Sarah and co-hosts :)

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

Fantastic little place to stay, central to an amazing area with loads to do. Home was exactly as described and clean and clutter free with essentials provided. Barbara was friendly and provided local recommendations within the guidance. Would stay again.

Wow what a find. Absolutely immaculate accommodation and perfect for what we needed. Extremely fast responses to communication which helped when I had questions. Lovely quiet spot on the site

Lovely stay at David’s place. The property is wonderful, the grounds incredible and the views stunning. David and his family made us feel incredibly welcome and were available if we needed anything. Lots of information provided by David and in the house and we would highly recommend the walks in the local area. The Ring O Bells pub is a beautiful 30 minute walk and does brilliant food. Bath is an easy 15 minute drive. Would highly recommend this place.

Wat een prachtig huisje! We verbleven hier 4 nachten met onze 2 kleine kindjes. Het huisje is gelegen in een super rustige omgeving, toch dicht genoeg om vanalles te bezoeken en mooie wandelingen te maken. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden. Alles was super proper en functioneel ingericht. De communicatie verloopt super vlot. Kortom we hebben écht genoten van ons verblijf en zouden het zeker aanraden.

Had a lovely short stay here. Lyme Regis is a great location and Beech Lodge was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. Very peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the beach front. Long, steep hill down to the town which you wouldn't want to do too often, but we found car parks fine at this time of year (early April). Many thanks for a great stay, Helen!

Lovely cosy and pretty cottage in a tranquil area. The magnolia tree right outside the cottage was in full bloom so it was extra special. Friendly host directly us over to see the ponies and goose! So charming. Lovely little touches in the cottage/ a great care of detail has gone into making it a a great home.

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Beautiful garden with fire pit and hot tub. Amazing pub across the road. Close to the Jurassic coast for nice long walks 👍 Would highly recommend to everyone!

This place is amazing, quiet peaceful but within 5 mins walk of the river and 10 mins easy walk to the Beach, great host with extra added touches that were so appreciated and made you feel so welcome, facilities were amazing and it's a great place for Exploring Christchurch, Mudeford, Southbourne and Hentisbury would recommend Shelley for anyone looking for place to stay in Dorset.

A lovely, well appointed cottage. Fantastically comfortable with lovely views of the surrounding countryside , whilst still being less than a mile from the seafront and Swanage town centre.

We had a really lovely stay at Marsha’s place ☺️. Marsha and Dave were both really helpful and friendly and gave us lots of local recommendations - our cockapoo loved the woodland walk into town! The studio itself had everything you need and provided a great little base for a weekend break. It’s perfectly situated for so many lovely walks or a trip into Bath for shopping/more exploring. Thank you so much for everything - we would definitely recommend!

The stables were just as lovely as the photos! A perfect little hideaway! Nancy was a great host and provided us with detailed and clear directions before our arrival. She was always helpful and quick to respond if I sent her a message. Even though we knew there were people renting the cottage across the gardens from us, we didn’t see or hear anyone. It was lovely and private, super quiet and the gardens were beautiful. The property also benefits from its own private entrance and secured gates at the back of the property. The hot tub and patio was very relaxing and we spent both evenings outside. The place itself is very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch! 💗 We used the bus service outside just outside the property, which was a quick 15 min journey to Bath. A lovely day out! We had a very relaxing, well-needed break! Thank you Nancy 🥰

Absolutely fantastic little house in a brilliant location. Plenty of pubs and places to eat nearby. Claire is fantastic, super helpful and always at hand to help. If like myself you are visiting Crimson guitars just around the corner, definitely make "The Yorkshireman" your first choice of places to stay

It was really lovely to be greeted in person! We use a lot of Airbnb’s and, although there are advantages to arriving and letting yourself in, when you are walking round the side of someone else’s home, it feels like you’re intruding so I like being met at the door by the hosts. The Garden Room is as described. It is spacious, clean, private and has everything you need for a few nights away. There is plenty to do in the area including beautiful walks, beaches, tea rooms, crazy golf and plenty of good restaurants. It was a superb base and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you for a lovely stay. P.S. bring an alarm clock - the bed is so comfy you won’t want to get up! 😀

Stayed here to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Exceeded my expectations,and we all had a fabulous stay. Easy to check in,everything was perfect and loved the hot tub! Have already recommended to friends and family and we will be returning in the future. Thankyou to the hosts x

We had a fantastic stay in Gerties House in Glastonbury! We were so happy with house clean and spacious it was! The amenities were great too! Kim was a great host who knocked to check everything was good and directed us on where the local sites were. It is a literal stones throw from Glastonbury Tor which was a beautiful site with spiritual significance 🫶🏻 there were lots of friendly locals up at the Tor too! It was roughly 20 minutes to the High Street which was full of quaint little shops that were full of goodies such as books, tarot cards, crystals, instruments etc. The abbey is also in the town which is a great visit! We will definitely be back to Glastonbury and to Gerties House! Thank you Kim and Edd 🙏🏼

Lovely stay at the studio so peaceful and lovely to watch the horses walking around right outside your gate. Beautiful view from the bedroom window to wake up to and the birds eating from the feeding and giving a little knock on your window in the morning 🥰 Weather was pretty poor, would have been lovely to do a little Barbecue on the portable barbecue left,maybe next time 😊
