Lovely short stay with kids. Easy to walk to the beach, shops, soft play, boat trips etc etc. No issues at all, we were able to get on with enjoying the area. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Geoff answered a couple of small queries promptly. We would definitely stay again if it was available.

Great stay in a beautifully restored old building with big comfy beds. 5 minutes walk from the beach and a pub serving delicious food (worth booking ahead). Very friendly volunteers at the nearby DD centre/war museum, well worth a visit to see the history of the Isle of Portland and fun for the children, they get to climb inside a tank!

A beautiful home in a superb location. We shall definitely return. Jan was a perfect host and extremely thoughtful and responsive with messages. She made the house feel like home with the thoughtful inclusion of little things that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyed. The beds were extremely comfortable and I am not usually a great sleeper, however the entire family slept excellently for the duration. Highly recommended property.

Spent a great few days over new year in this impressive house , once we figured out parking , with help from host, lots of room for 8, sitting round large table , lots of food and board games, walks on beach just a few minutes away. We had great family time in a warm , comfortable , well appointed house.

We had a fantastic stay at Annie’s lovely flat; it couldn’t have been more perfect! It was spotless & had lovely extras like tea, coffee & biscuits, and nice shampoo etc in the bathrooms. The beds were SO comfortable & there was enough space in the main bedroom to put a travel cot for our baby. Annie provided the travel cot & high chair for us, which was so helpful. There were also some great kids books & puzzles! It honestly felt like staying in a posh B&B. A real added bonus was that Annie had provided wash tablets for the washing machine so we didn’t have to buy a whole pack & could use the washing machine straight away when we needed it - genius. The location of the flat is amazing for Weymouth harbour, & our little boy loved being able to watch the famous town bridge going up & down from the lounge window every hour! We basically walked everywhere, it was fab. One thing to note is that you can hear the people staying upstairs when they walk about but it’s not too loud. Thank you!!

Beautiful home lovely location Hot tub fantastic We had a lovely few days Only issues was no wardrobe or drawer space in first bed room only 4 hangers on back of door and no hairdryer which we found awkward as 3 females trying to get ready but other than that 5 stars ***** Would definitely recommend Thank u Becky

Joanne was very responsive and helpful with replies. The house was clean and spacious. Our families had an amazing Christmas week.

We stayed for a full week to work, Katherine was super proactive with any questions we had and even applied for an online permit for our car so we could park wherever we wanted in the road. It was clean and had all the necessities. If we are ever in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Katherine to stay again :)

Another great stay at Stones Throw Cottage with my 2 young boys. Very nicely done, uncluttered and homely, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hot shower! Excellent location in a quiet road with the beach just a 5 mini walk away! Manor gardens is a lovely space 5 mins the other way and connects to a walkway to the other end of the beach which is away from the road too - comes out at the sensory garden next to the Pavillion theatre & cafe. Excellent communication with Deborah before and during stay. Highly recommend. Will return!

Such a fabulous location. Seaside chic - with comfy beds, a lovely welcome package and great water pressure for the showers, it definitely ticked all our boxes. Lucky enough to see the best of the British weather for al fresco dining too!

A stay at this gorgeous little home is highly recommended . Beautifully peaceful , easy access to great restaurants , lovely walks along the river.A walk to Harnham through the water meadows is a must do ! A very relaxing quiet place , a place to unwind but in the heart of the town .

A great house for our stay, a family of 12, including 4 children. The check in was so easy and great not to have to worry about keys!! The house was as described. Clean , warm with great entertaining space and well equipped. Nice big bedrooms with comfortable beds. The outdoor space looked great but we didn’t really use it due to the weather. Beach really close by and a visit to Shaldon Zoo on the ferry was enjoyed by all. I would recommend this house for families!

We had a lovely time staying here. Everything was as described and beautifully cared for. Excellent communication and local recommendations for us. We did it all by public transport and it couldn’t have been easier with the buses almost outside the door. Everything was clean and completely as described. We will be back!

Loved our stay at Lorna Doone. Alan and Pat are perfect hosts and the house is amazing. Spotless, comfortable and in a perfect location just minutes up the hill from the centre of Watchet. We’ll definitely stay again

A lovely property which has been decorated to a very high standard. It was just a short walk to the beach and 5 to 10 mins unto town. Jane was a very helpful host. Parking is approximately 5 min walk from the property but didn't cause us a problem. Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay.

I just want to say this property is fantastic, it's amazingly clean and surpassed all my expectations and the lovely little details of soap and memory foam mattresses. This has got to be the best air bnb I've stayed in.

We had such a lovely stay at Ryan’s house. It is well located in the Centre of town within walking distance to all sorts of nice shops and cafes. We had a fab lunch at Rye bakery. Also close enough to enjoy visiting Stourhead, Stonehenge, and Hauser & Wirth. It is also such a unique and interesting house. It felt like stepping back in time to a special and beautiful era and was a real experience. Thank you!

We had a great time. The Airbnb was very clean and tidy, and very modern. The TV was an excellent addition. The hosts gave us some great recommendations for cafes and restaurants in the area, and were very responsive. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. I would highly recommend

This was our second visit and we hope there will be more. It was beautiful spring weather and we went to see the flowers at Kingston Lacy. The garden and wider estate are wonderful. It was a special weekend and we were taken to Shell Bay Restaurant on Studland. Big portions, very good food, a view across to Brownsea Island and lots of activity going on outside. The children's menu is for under 16's. Also generous portions. A taxi took us from Salterns Road past the ferry queue and dropped us by the foot passenger walkway to the ferry. It's exciting. You can play on the beach near the ferry while you wait to return. Also we went again to the beach below Canford Cliffs and walked down to spend Sunday playing on the beach. There was paddling and dipping. Bacon sandwiches too as we were in a beach hut (not ours). We also played card games in No 73 again. It's perfect as a family let. A comfortable house which is close to seaside fun and Dorset beauty. Madalene

Whilst our visit was not really for sightseeing, I would highly recommend Susan’s lovely home for anyone wishing to explore Taunton & the surrounding area. The house is beautifully kept with lovely character features. It is so spacious inside & very generously fitted out with delightful period furniture & a well-equipped kitchen. The small challenge of on-road parking turned out not to be an issue as we easily found spaces in the streets close by. I would highly recommend Sidwick House
