Mateo and his family are amazingly thoughtful, communicative, responsive and helpful! The cabin is wonderful and peaceful. It is clean with everything you need. Wifi works well also. As a solo traveller it was the perfect mix of privacy and remoteness whilst also the feeling of safety as the hosts were close by if I needed anything. They too have perfected the balance of respecting privacy whilst also offering assistance. The Santa Elena bus runs by the exit road of the cabin which is extremely useful.

The cabin was stunning&quite romantic, and perfect for relaxation after some long days of hiking! David helped us during our stay and was incredibly kind&accommodating as he introduced us to the space and La Fortuna. We wish that we had booked more time here!

Kya was super helpful from the beginning, she helped us coordinate a taxi from la capital. The house itself was beautiful, and the views stunning. We stayed here to do work and write and it was a wonderful and overall relaxing stay. Frankelys went above and beyond to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend

El alojamiento es tal cual se aprecia en las fotos, es un lugar perfecto para descansar y desconectarse de la rutina. El pueblo caminando es a 35 minutos (recomiendo hacerlo cuando hay luz del sol porque de noche la carretera no está iluminada) el lugar ofrece las comodidades necesarias para pasar una estadía agradable en un entorno lleno de naturaleza y paz. Tuve un par de reuniones así que llevé mi computador y el wifi de la casa me funcionó perfecto! Sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme.

Las fotos no le hacen justicia a la cabaña. Nos encantó tener tanta naturaleza. La vista muy hermosa y Lolo fue un compañero de estancia inesperado, pero de primer nivel. Nos encantó.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt this Airbnb deserved it. It’s a little away from the touristy areas which was really nice and you feel very connected with nature here. The property is stunning and the pool is very well maintained. I recommend the tour of the farm that David offers. He’s very knowledgeable and there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. Also, the monkeys that visit regularly kept my family very entertained. David went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. He even went out of his way to try and comfort my son after he had a little scare from a cicada (harmless bug). An overall amazing experience here, 12 stars

La cabaña es preciosa, muy acogedora, la comunicación con Roberto fue excelente, tiene bastante leña disponible, todo el lugar está limpio y es privado, sitio ideal para relajarse, en las noches puede hacer bastante frío pero cuenta con la chinea y 2 calentadores para las habitaciones, así como ropa de cama que ayuda a pasar una noche agradable y cómoda, además cuenta buen internet. Definitivamente lo recomiendo, esperamos en un futuro volver.

Super recomendado. Un lugar para desconectarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Super cerca a Gautavita pero muy tranquilo. La cabaña es muy bonita y la reserva es hermosa. Laura y Leonardo son personas maravillosas, amables, atentos, dispuestos a ayudar cuando los necesitas. Hacen que la experiencia sea aún mejor.

We loved our time in Rio Celeste! Rick's place was perfect and had all that we needed. He even arranged to order us pizza delivery when our flight came in later than expected. They had everything you could possibly need and the food (drink, snacks and fruit) were more than appreciated. That extra effort made our stay so much easier to navigate. We would definitely return! Thanks to both of you!

What an incredible experience! The cabin itself was picturesque, with views of the water from bed and the wrap-around porch. The kitchen had everything I needed for my four-day stay with a working stove, coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The cabin shares the property, which is gated, with the main house and two other small residences but still feels private. The only drawback to the location is that it's right next to a busy road, so you can expect to hear the sounds of traffic most hours of the day. I also was awoken a few times by the sounds of dogs barking so I would recommend bringing ear plugs. The best part though has to be the property's private waterfront access where I spent many hours relaxing by the water and going for swims. It's also just a short 5min walk from Bluefields Beach which was lively and filled with locals. Overall I had a fabulous experience and can't recommend Shekeria's place enough!

Lovely little weekend stay at the Cabin, very relaxing place. We enjoyed the chill vibe on the farm, meeting and chatting with the owners and hanging out with the friendly farm animals! (And getting fresh eggs in the mornings!) Overall would definitely recommend. great place to relax and unwind.

der aufenthalt bei claudine und david war sehr angenehm! ich habe mich wohl gefühlt und auch viel über die jamaikanische kultur gelernt. ich vermisse es jetzt schon..

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in Gabriels und Sanis Unterkunft. Der Weg zur Unterkunft war abenteuerlich. In der Unterkunft selber hat nichts gefehlt. Besonderes Highlight ist der Ausblick von der Terrasse aus. Beim Mittagessen konnten wir von dort aus zwei Tukane beobachten :) vielen Dank für diese besonderen zwei Nächte! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Glamping at its best ! Was here for the rodeo with friends and family . We had the boathouse Cabin. Very pristine and clean with a super comfortable mattress. I loved waking up to the sunrise overlooking the river with my morning coffee. Hope to return here again,

Fue una experiencia maravillosa, el lugar es muy cálido, la vista es increíble, los alimentos naturales y deliciosos.. Caro y su tía son unos seres muy especiales. Hicieron de nuestra noche de bodas, un recuerdo inolvidable. 10/10
