Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

The treehouse has amazing ambiance with the main cabin and treehouse separate bedroom The private compound is amazing and enclosed by a stone wall.The location is so close to the most beautiful beach in Las Galleras .There are so many great restaurants located in a beautiful little town.We loved the place and can’t wait to come back.

Notre séjour à Cocovivo a été incroyable. Les récifs sont magnifiques, l'île est superbe et nous avons eu l'occasion de faire une balade dans celle-ci avec Leo qui est un excellent guide. Melisa et Luciano sont des hôtes toujours disponibles et très accueillants. L'arrivée et le départ ont été très bien organisés. Les logements sont très agréables pour un séjour au plus près de la nature : nous avons étés conquis par Cocovivo et nous y retournerons très certainement lors de nos prochaines vacances au Panama.

The Jungle House was beautiful, pool is super clean. the host was very helpful and friendly :)

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

Well what can we say apart from amazing!!! Louises place exceeded our expectations and if we could give it 10 stars then we would. The Lodge is just beautiful, surrounded by nature, no neon, no noise, apart from the soothing sounds of nature, you feel like you are a million miles away from the rest of the world, and yet you are so close to nearest beach/shops. The lodge is so tastefully furnished with an amazing and comfy 4 poster bed, completed surrounded by mosquito net so no nasty bites in the night. One thing we need to mention is aircon, the lodge does not have any and we were worried about that, but we had no need to worry, as the lodge is high up, there is always a lovely breeze, we were never over hot, only needed thin sheet at night, it was perfect. The outdoor shower was a daily delight, lovely warm water, looking out over the trees❤️ Communication with Louise was great, she was very responsive to queries and gave good local advice Perfect, perfect perfect!!

Great place up in the trees. A bit of a walk getting up to the house, but we knew that from the description. Not a great choice for someone with mobility issues, but it was fine for us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Easy to get to know the other guests as well.

Jan und seiner Familie ist es gelungen, eine sehr besondere Unterkunft mitten im Regenwald zu bauen. Es biet eine exzellente Möglichkeit viele Tiere und besonders Vögel zu beachten. Nur von den Geräuschen der Natur umgeben, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Der Anstieg zum Dschungelhaus ist etwas steil, aber gut zu bewältigen. Oben angekommen, wird man mit einem Ausblick, über die Baumwipfel hinweg und mit viel Natur belohnt. Der Check In hat wunderbar funktioniert, denn Jan hat uns aus dem Ort abgeholt und zum Haus begleitet. Wir haben von ihm und seine Familie viel Unterstützung- Fahrräder und Früchte- erhalten. Unser 4-tägiger Aufenthalt wird unvergesslich bleiben.

Un lugar pensado con amor, tranquilo y cómodo. La anfitriona estuvo pendiente todo el tiempo. El lugar está dotado con todo lo necesario para desconectarse de lo cotidiano y también está cerca de tiendas o puedes pedir domicilios o salir si es tu gusto. Las instrucciones de llegada son precisas pero si requiere conexión a internet o guía de mapas para llegar.

L’emplacement est bien situé pour aller visiter la forêt nuageuse, les tours nocturnes et autres activités de Monteverde. Nous avons trouvé facilement l’emplacement en mettant sur Waze Hotel Cala lodge et ensuite en suivant les instructions fournies ( avec photos). À partir de l’hébergement, nous pouvions voir une famille de Coati qui se promène dans les arbres aux alentours et sur le toit. Nous avons vu un Motmot sur une branche près du balcon arrière. Les lits sont très confortable, la literie également, il y a de l’eau chaude et nous n’avons rien manqué en équipement.

Amazing host and property! We loved the access to the garden and fruit trees. There are some steep steps from the driveway to the house that may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Jacuzzi is great, but it does take a while to fill. Do not trust a maps app, follow the host’s directions exactly and you will save yourself some time!

Gerado und Johanna sind tolle und sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Gespräche sehr genossen. Sofort konnten wir uns wie zuhause fühlen und sie haben sogar einen Stuhl für unser Baby besorgt, das hat das Essen für uns sehr erleichtert. Für alle unsere Unternehmungen hatten sie einen Tipp oder kannten jemanden. Es ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich wie herzlich die beiden uns willkommen geheißen haben. Rund um die Uhr konnten wir Fragen stellen und wir hätten gern durch die beiden noch mehr Spanisch gelernt. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, man kann beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse schon Vögel beobachten und zum Rauschen des Flusses einschlafen. Genau das richtige, wenn man dem Trubel der Stadt entkommen möchte. Wir würden immer wieder kommen und haben die beiden ins Herz geschlossen.

Loved our stay :) close to town but secluded enough that you feel like you’re in the jungle and away from the noise. Great spot!

Our stay at Henry and Diego’s Airbnb was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such kindness and hospitality. Diego was incredibly responsive and always ready to help, and his dad, Henry, was just as kind and attentive. Their assistant worker went above and beyond, helping us with our luggage and anything else we needed. The place itself was peaceful and relaxing—exactly what we were looking for. Waking up to the sounds of birds and spotting local wildlife like mapaches made the experience even more special. It truly felt like a hidden gem in nature. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. This was definitely one for the books, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway.

This was the most unique Airbnb we had stayed at, we loved our time here! In addition to the unique layout and location, Vero and Mau have clearly put so much thought behind all the details to make it a perfect stay. They were also super communicative and gave us great recommendations on restaurants, and connected us to a private driver (Brandon) who was wonderful. They were transparent in disclosing nearby construction, and while we definitely noticed the noise, it didn’t bother us as much as it might others. And ear plugs and eye masks are provided by the hosts to help mitigate the disturbance. Would absolutely recommend this special Airbnb!!!!

We truly enjoyed our time at David’s treehouse. It’s not only beautifully located, but also spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and simply a very special place.David is a fantastic host – always available, incredibly thoughtful and kind. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and visited many places – but this one is different. This one is special.The closeness to nature is absolutely incredible: the beautiful garden and all the animals – hummingbirds, parrots, coatis, monkeys, and even deer walking by – you sit on the terrace and feel like you're in the middle of a nature documentary. It’s a place that invites you to slow down, observe, and just be present.There were also so many little details that made our stay special: soft bathrobes, thoughtful touches throughout the house, and wonderful human moments. We came here to relax – and we really did. And that means a lot. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, David. We really hope to come back someday.

La cabane était top. Nous avons bien dormi! L’endroit est calme et reposant! Je recommande vivement ! Nous y serions bien restés plus longtemps ! :)

This place is a must see!! If you’re even in thinking about it - book your stay. Unique opportunity to glamp in a national park. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Nature lovers and adventure seekers will feel right at home!

We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a home! It really felt like a “get away” vacation: surrounded by the natural beauty of Costa Rica, trees, wildlife, views of the ocean… Pura Vida! I was joined by my husband and three kids ages 6, 7, and 9. We were all able to disconnect and enjoy the start of an unforgettable vacation. We all loved going on the porch to search for monkeys, relax in the pool after a day of adventuring, and having access to a washer/dryer was such a great perk after all of the activities. Certainly looking forward to staying here again.

I had the most incredible stay. If you are even considering booking, do it! Even though I was only there for two days, it felt like I was in a completely different world—an absolute retreat from everyday life. The entire experience was so relaxing and peaceful. The on-site restaurant was great; every meal was delicious, and it was so convenient to have the delivery service as well. One of my favorite spots was the outdoor net hammock—it was so serene to sit there, unwind, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The jacuzzi was another highlight; we basically lived in it the entire time. The fireplace added such a cozy touch, making the nights feel extra special. The bed was super comfy, and I appreciated the perfect amount of outlets and the reading lights by the bed. The breakfast provided each morning was a nice touch, and it really made the stay feel even more thoughtful. I can’t wait to come back to this magical spot ❤️

Die Unterkunft war wirklich toll. Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wir konnten zahlreiche Vögel von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Catherine war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Der selbstgemachte Planteur war wirklich sehr sehr gut! Vielen Dank, Catherine!
