Great place to stay when visiting kids in college. Not walkable to downtown, but very close. The house is an old house, but was clean and they did a good job on renovations.

We recently stayed at the Rambo house before taking off on a section hike, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself is great, offering comfortable accommodations and a nice facility that made our stay enjoyable. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Damascus , allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

This house was amazing, me and my family wanted to get away from the city for the weekend and this was a great place to stay at, it was very peaceful. we definitely would book again!

We loved the home. The weather was iffy with the winter storm coming in and we had to leave a day early. But that’s not her fault!!! The cleaning could have been better; especially the tops of furniture. And the water took forever to heat up in the master bath…all in all it was a great place in a great location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Views are beautiful in the snow!

We visited for President’s Day weekend and had a lovely stay with our elementary age kids. Check in was very straightforward. The house was well equipped and spotless with tons of space, including a mudroom, a functional fridge with ice/water dispenser and a garbage disposal, things I’ve found are often lacking in Airbnbs. Further, we really appreciated the coffee bar and separate bowls for our Frenchie - very thoughtful! My kids loved using the big master tub, and my husband and I are always pleased to see double vanities. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra linens available. The host was super responsive. It snowed while we were there and we were able to navigate the driveway without an issue. Lastly, a functional 2 car garage with garage door openers! So valuable in freezing/snowy weather. All around a great house for a family vacation.

Sadie’s Place was a a really peaceful and quiet getaway. It had a lot of space and plenty of beds for big groups and the property has some beautiful views and nice walking trails. It is convenient to West Jefferson and Sparta and there’s plenty to do in the region. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan to again!

El sitio estuvo excelente para ir a descansar y desconectarse de la ciudad, relajarte en familia, la casa fue muy cómoda. Si tienes niños pequeños, disfrutaran mucho en el terreno que es bastante grande, puedes hacer parrilla y tienes varias atracciones cerca y adicional estas a 48 minutos de Boone. Melina tuvo una excelente asistencia en tiempo récord, una cuando no podíamos abrir la puerta, la llamamos y nos atendió al momento para abrir desde su locación y la otra fue con un breaker que se tripeo en panel, la respuesta fue inmediata. Realmente volveré a rentar el próximo año, Gracias Melina.

Lordy, we loved this place. AMAZING windows and kitchen, incredible hosts who were kind and super-responsive, wood burning stove was a delight. We didn't turn the TV on for 3 days and didn't care a bit! Can't wait to be back in the summer!

Amy and her husband are very friendly. It’s a very peaceful place as I lived in South Carolina and I travel up here to work for the time being I love studying at her place. This is the second week that I stayed. I will be staying there more. I enjoyed myself very friendly to talk to and she makes beautiful pottery, but as her place it’s sparkly clean very comfortable and warm and there is a local sushi restaurant and a pizzeria that I ate at that I haven’t enjoyed and will visit again.

This was our second time staying at this adorable clean Airbnb. It brings back so many childhood memories of my grandparents home. As always we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ms. Eunice and Grace for your amazing hospitality.

Highly enjoyed my mountain stay! The view was spectacular, the driveway was bit rockery than anticipated but my Toyota Camry made it up fine! It was very clean and cozy! The hosts did an amazing job at communicating and accommodating our stay. The guest book was adorable and full of fun recommendations of activities to do. I really loved it here, will happily visit this same property on my next stay!! worth the money and the view!! Thanks again!!

2nd time staying here and loved it just as much! They take so much time to make sure it’s as cozy as possible with extra blankets, fans, or space heaters. Little things like this make all the difference! Will be back!

Very happy to find such a great place to stay in Beech Mountain! Everything was just what you want for a trip: clear directions, helpful area details, easy and efficient check-in and place was super clean. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Clean and functional place. Part of a multi unit house, but felt private. Nice deck to relax although transmission wires are nearby so the view was just ok. Great spot to explore the blowing rock area. It can get very foggy there, might want to check the forecast if you’re booking for an upcoming stay. Visibility was down to 20-30 feet at times when driving the 7 minutes into town. Overall I would recommend this place.

Beautiful view !! Comfortable bed. Hot tub a big plus ! Jim was very helpful and had great recommendations for local hikes. I could literally see the snow moving in across the mountain. It was the perfect spot !

Edwin’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway for me and my fiancé. Super close to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. The host also recommended great places to rent gear, etc. We loved it and would recommend their place if you’re looking for a place to stay close to the ski resort!!

Sky view retreat has been a retreat indeed. It’s a place of serenity, calmness, and peace like no other. The lodge is welcoming and cozy. Modern enough to be able to stay in to cook a delicious meal and watch your favorite shows but secluded enough that it invites you to visit the outdoors to the lovely front porch with rocking chairs and a swing or both back decks full of space and seating. All with amazing views to the North Carolina country side and sounds of all the different species of birds. Our yearly “bestie vacation” was very relaxing and just what we needed. We recommend this place to those that need a moment away to breathe in fresh air, see the natural beauty of North Carolina or maybe looking to get away from the fast pace every day grind. You will find peace here and make wonderful memories just like we have. Our host Mark was extremely attentive and communicative during our reservation process and the house was just like the photos! Highly recommend to anyone!

Beautiful views and area. Quick trip to downtown West Jefferson. Cabin is quaint and comfortable, comfortable beds and couches. Hot tub with the views was incredible. Game room in the basement was so much fun. Pet friendly with water bowls left out for pups. The road to get there is tricky, narrow with some hairpin turns. Fine with an SUV but smaller vehicles may have some trouble. Host is very responsive and emailed clear instructions the day before. Check out was simple. Would recommend for folks interested in staying.

Great place to spend the weekend as a couple. we took full advantage of the hotub and Sauna. The house was beautiful and the interior design and decorating was on point. We was able to eat at a few good resturants and door dash dinner to the house. Me and the wife had a amazing night.

Everything about this place was perfect! The cabin was clean and the views were beautiful. The location allowed for easy travel to all the nearby towns. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to our next visit to the area.

This place is beautiful and was so clean! The host allowed us to go in two hours early! It’s quiet and a great spot!

Darren was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in cabin 3, and it was brand new and clean. Family stayed at a home on the lake and we suggested that they stay at Darren’s place next time down. Can’t beat the price or amenities. Definitely suggest! Just make sure you pull up directions in town since there’s little service, but once there, the wifi is great!
