What a special place to bring our family together! The house is spacious, full of charm, and incredibly relaxing. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered—from cosy blankets and children’s toys to luxurious hand soaps in the bathrooms—making it a warm and welcoming space for all ages. We gathered as a family of 12 to celebrate an 85th, 80th, two 50th birthdays, an 8th birthday, and a couple of special wedding anniversaries. It was the perfect setting for everyone, whether running around the garden, curling up in the snug, or simply enjoying time together around the table. Only small point was the garden was not fully enclosed and as the road adjacent to the property was busy we didn’t feel safe letting our dog off lead. However, the hosts were excellent—always helpful, responsive, and kind, making sure everything was just right. We’ve had a truly memorable time here and are so grateful for the opportunity to create such meaningful family memories in this wonderful home.

We had the BEST sunny weekend at Sally’s place. The location was beautiful, with the river running through the garden, clear starry skies, and no one around. We were so lucky with the weather so we really used the land as much as we could. Lots of football and frisbee were played. There were 15 of us but still plenty of space to chill with friends without being on top of each other. Hot tub was great too. It’s a short walk to 2 different villages, one with a co-op (which was useful) and one with a beautiful pub/restaurant with a great beer garden (reindeer in Hoveringham). All in all, we’ll be back!

We had a great weekend stay at Ryan’s place. The welcome bottle of Prosecco is a great added touch as well as recommendations for the area. The house was as described and is lovely and clean. The hot tub is a great bonus which was heated for when we arrived. The area is lovely and a short walk into town which has great restaurants and bars. We will definitely be returning!

Just arrived home after a wonderful Easter Break at the Green House. The photos don’t do this place justice! The attention to detail is there throughout! Thanks so much for a very comfortable stay!

Debbie is a wonderful, kind and communicative host. We were welcomed with a smile and she talked to us about all the wonderful surroundings such as the pub and nature reserve just down the road. The lodge itself was clean and well presented and the hot tub was absolutely enormous! I’d absolutely recommend the Lincoln Retreat for a getaway and we will certainly be back again soon! Lovely cottage in a perfect Nottinghamshire village.

Fantastic cottage, beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped kitchen. My son loved the garden, beautiful surroundings and spotless hot tub which is well maintained. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Thank you for another excellent stay. This time we got to benefit from the coastal walks and open space straight out the back gate. Julie was a great help when my lad accidentally set off the house alarm. Within 15 minutes the alarm stopped and our day was saved as we had tickets booked! Brilliant hosting and was attentive that all our expectations were met through the break. Highly recommended and will come again if Julie will have us 🙂

Really good value for money, we visit Nottingham a lot, so will definitely come back here!! Nice quiet location in The Park, but so walkable and close to everything. Really nice yoga studio next door that I was able to use for a quick workout- thank you! The most comfortable bed too!

Lovely stay at Steve’s place for local event, Steve was very accommodating with his parking, very friendly and very comfy accommodation The bed is indeed very comfy same as other peoples reviews Great job Steve!

It’s just what it says in the description. Photos are accurate. It’s warm and clean and the bed is ok. Make sure you take food with you. There is a small shop but it doesn’t stock much. Good for the price.

We had an amazing two-night stay in the hot tub cabin! The host was super responsive and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was huge, and the room was a great size. There is a really nice pub and cafe about a 10-15 minute walk away. The mattress was a bit firm, but we still slept well. We would absolutely recommend this place and would return!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Eileen’s place! From the moment we arrived, they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. They were incredibly friendly, kept me updated throughout, and were always easy to reach if we needed anything. The Airbnb was fully equipped with everything you could need—from kitchenware and bedding to game cards for a relaxed night in. They even provided a generous amount of toiletries and some breakfast items, which was such a thoughtful touch. The space was very clean, cosy, and spacious, with a calm, peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. It’s also in a great location—close to Woodhall Spa with its great selection of restaurants and even a cinema in the middle of the woods. Lincoln and Skegness are also nearby, making it a great base for exploring. Would happily stay again in the future!

Beautiful lodge, we had a lovely relaxing stay with plenty of activities on site only a few minutes walk from the lodge. Would highly recommend, Andrea was extremely helpful and informative.

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )

We have been here before and will definitely come again. This place is perfect to escape everyday life and just relax together. The welcome basket is a lovely touch. The cabin is clean and homely. We visited the local pub for lunch as it wasn’t far but you could easily park up and not venture anywhere for the whole weekend.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Orchard Stables, absolutely stunning location, easy to get to the rail station and into Lincoln - so very well connected. Incredibly easy to find with the instructions provided, and a wonderful guidebook which was incredibly helpful! The place was absolutely spotless, clear instructions regarding the hot tub and we were met by the wonderful host who explained everything to us. Would recommend and can't wait to go back!

Had a wonderful Christmas here, so peaceful. The lodge had everything we needed & the hot tub was amazing. The host was super helpful. Nothing was too much. We will be going back to Rosewood Water Retreat for sure.
