We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect and the beds super comfortable. The view was beautiful,the pictures dont do it justice. We were lucky with the weaher,it was lovely sitting on the decking in the beautiful Autum sunshine. Just wish we stayed longer. Thank you.

We booked this place last minute, but it turned out to be a great choice. A large property that amply accommodated our group.

Very comfortable, well equipped caravan. Travel cot easy to put in largest bedroom. Good amenities, bonus of small bath ideal for babies. Lovely decking area which catches the sun and clear easy instructions for access. Will be booking again!

Thank you so much for being a great host . It is a very special place. Homemade jam and bread in the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Nayland village was a great base to explore the coast and countryside. Easy to access to river for paddle boarding and fishing , with a great pub serving good food right on the river.Hopefully we will be able to return soon . Thanks again to your wonderful mum for the lift to our car.

We had a wonderful stay, and the kids loved running around the gardens, exploring, swimming in the pool and especially saying hello to the horses! The cottage is beautiful, it had everything we needed, and Lara and her family are super helpful. Thank you!

What made our stay so great was the communication we had with Daisy. There were a few snags, parking, getting in the complex late at night without a key code, heating and water didn’t work the first day and the light in the kids room didn’t work. That said, she was incredibly helpful and polite. All sorted quick as a flash. Very clean, free WiFi, all you needed for a nice weekend break. Would 100% go again and recommend to any family. We’re a family of 5 and it was …..⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!! Thankyou Daisy! 💙

A truly wonderful house, with a real sense of history from the moment Patsie greeted us and showed us around. There are so many interesting things to look at in the house. The village is beautiful and has a pub with delicious food just 3 minutes walk away. We are already hoping to go back again

The place was nice, clean, and new. Easy communication and very flexible. If you're 8–10 people, the sleeping arrangements are fine, but the living room and kitchen with dining space are a bit on the small side—though this is not hidden in the pictures.

Beautiful property, peaceful, calm and clean. Garden was a lovely bonus.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend in Victoria’s beautiful farmhouse. There was everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. All the bedrooms were great and the garden is beautiful - the children loved the trampoline! We also loved having the cats around - very friendly! Thank you so much. We had a great time!

Couldn’t fault this Airbnb, beautifully decorated throughout, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Great sharp knives. Even had a thoughtful welcome pack when we arrived. Carly was very proactive, made sure the place was nice and warm for us . Perfect

Had everything you’d need for a stay - quiet location. Good size rooms, comfy beds. Has all the expected equipment in the kitchen for anyone doing a longer stray or catering for themselves. Would recommend and hope to book again

David and Jo were excellent hosts. Every little detail had been carefully thought out, and taken care of. They were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, and could not have been more helpful. The cottage itself is so charming, and beautifully presented. Quiet and peaceful, a perfect haven to come back to. We will most definitely be back.

A unique Victorian style cottage with everything that you could need. Enjoyed every minute and will definitely return!
