I wish there was an option for ‘super great!’ I cannot rave enough about this hidden gem in what felt like was the middle of nowhere. Our city kids aged 7&8 had no issues playing and getting dirty and loved engaging with the donkeys, baby goats and bunnies. The resident sheepdog herded us so well he even slept in our cottage! The hike was fun too but can be a bit daunting for those who are not sure footed and there is a bit of climbing involved but the view was worth it. Loved it so much and will be back for a longer relaxing stay again soon! Thanks to everyone who looked after us!

Terry was a pleasant nd most of all understand ing host,managed to arrange an early check in with him,as l had arrived early nd had no place to wait for the 3pm check ,but he was very accommodating....so l gve him 10/10.

Was a short distance from The Nut Farm Wedding Venue where we were attending a wedding. Clean, tidy and perfect place to stay

Amazing stay! The apartment was exactly as described - clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. My partner and I felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.

Me and my partner were extremely satisfied with the place, it’s better than the pictures, so tranquil and peaceful 👌🏽 we had so much peace of mind, we had a wonderful time, Sabrina is so lovely and responds quickly.. Loved the outdoor pool and shower !! And the coffee machine!🥰 definitely gonna go back there!

Cleo’s place is truly magical. From the tranquil setting to the artful and playful decor. The cottage is spacious and is well equipped. We really enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor space by the braai and fire pit!

As a family of three, we absolutely loved staying here. It was so spacious and has everything you need, so we were very comfortable and enjoyed our 10 day stay. Mokaba is a great host, and was immediately responsive to all our requests. The area is quiet and safe, and there are nearby shops and parks in walking distance. Would absolutely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at Jenny's place. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Communication with Jenny was seamless, and she proved to be a very attentive host. The small outdoor terrace was a lovely spot to relax, and while the tennis court wasn’t fully maintained, it was still suitable for practice. I highly recommend this accommodation—it's well-located for exploring Johannesburg and its surroundings.

What a gem this place is, Melanie is a wonderful host, very quick to respond to questions and ensures her guests are well looked after. The cottage is peaceful, relaxing and so private and quiet, immaculately clean and perfection situated for a bush retreat. I felt very safe in the cottage and walking around the property with some awesome game sightings whilst walking. The government road to get there is a bit rough but we managed it quite easily in a suzuki swift, just drive very slowly, the road to the property itself is well maintained. If you want to get away from the hustle and stress of normal life this little oasis of calm is for you. Melanie thank you so much for a wonderful weekend, Mish and I loved it and are already planning our return trip.
