Very nice people, great quiet location, 15-20 min from Stansted, very cozy, will recommend!

Very nice host who made sure to communicate clearly and checked in on my after arrival. Put my mind at rest about the parking situation! Great location for me, room was nice, shower was powerful (often they are not) and place warmed up nicely.

Wendy was so kind waiting for us on our approach,,welcoming , helpful and very informative, the annex was cosy, comfy, homely and just what we both needed, plus she popped over some fresh milk as I’d forgetten to being some , we will return thank you so much

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

Homely corner for exploring the local area, thank you Roddy and Mrs Roddy (and Winston the Labrador!) for a comfortable stay. A friendly welcome, and the breakfast things and snacks were a nice touch.

A lovely peaceful place to stay with easy access to Colchester.

We had a brilliant stay at Wendy’s cottage. The location is perfect for a country getaway and only 30 mins drive to the sea. The cottage has everything you could need, full of character, big garden and the animals really made the stay special for our 2 young children. Thanks so much for showing us around Wendy!

Stayed here for a few times and it always has been an amaizing place to stay, Chris and her husband are excellent hosts.

The Pavilion was comfortable and well equipped, close to some beautiful walks and many excellent pubs. Liz was a very responsive host and to be met with milk, bread, butter, eggs, marmalade etc - all you needed for breakfast - was much appreciated. The beautiful bunch of daffodils was also a lovely touch. We had a great weekend and thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

This place is more than worth the value and is a wonderful quiet peaceful location, with countryside views and facing the sunset all very clean and tidy was a pleasure to stay .

William is a super host. seeing is spectacular and place is spotless. the cottage is on the small side, but that is clear from the listing...

An excellent place to stay. On the smaller side but actually quite comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked with microwave, toaster and fridge plus an amazing little “welcome package” of bread/jam/biscuits/tea/milk/orange juice. Small bed but very comfortable. Nice bathroom with good hot water. Very quiet location. Will definitely try to stay here again when visiting the area!

Shi & Rob are amazing hosts as well as being genuine nice people. This was our 2nd time to stay at their beautiful AirBNB and great to see that the high standards are still maintained. Weather was a bit chilly despite the glorious sunshine but the central heating was always on to make our stay very comfortable. Thank you Shi & Rob

Rosie answered messages quickly and was very helpful. She shared information about the town when asked. The place was private and clean. Books and games were provided if needed. We only stayed one night and only used the toaster at breakfast but it looked as if the kitchen was well equipped. We walked into town in the evening - took us about 30 minutes - we had dinner by the quayside at the Italian restaurant Amore. Delicious food and great service. We would recommend Rosie's place to others.

We had an amazing stay at Ali's sunset Lodge. Ali was really accommodating and instructions were clear and everything was as described. Great location, complete silence outside with views of an amazing sunset. The place itself had all the amenities needed and was super clean, with recommendations of places to visit on the shelf. All in all a 10/10 experience, would definitely come back :)

Dallas was a perfect host. My room was clean and fresh and the little touches like cereal and treats was lovely. I have no problem recommending people to stay here.

We felt very at home in Phillippa’s excellent annex. It was all the little extra touches including flowers on the dining table that made it so welcome. Everything we needed was there are we recommend it to anyone considering staying here.

We had a nice stay at the annexe, it was cosy and well equipped, it had everything we needed for our stay. Really nice touch with breakfast items, milk juice provided. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable, we will have no hesitation to book again

Going by how your place is so very popular and almost always fully-booked, is a real tribute to the service and comfort that everyone receives - a great big thank you to the both of you! Outside of the immaculately clean and equipped place that you offer - I need to call out the extras and the attention to detail - extra blankets, storage, the lovely snack tray, breakfast items and a stocked fridge! Absolutely wonderful and so very appreciated. Well what a perfect little place!!! So welcoming and cozy Lots of extra little touches such as Gaviscon(!!) and tea bags biscuits etc. The bed was really comfy and the surroundings were so peaceful We really loved our flying visit and we are sorry we didn’t have longer to chill in the patio area! Thank you again I hope we will be back to visit soon

Lovely location and perfect space for a relaxing getaway

Beautiful apartment with fantastic facilities and small touches to make a great stay. We appreciated Theresa’s quick responses, easy to follow check in instructions and the lovely bed linen! Even down to the fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee - a great find and we would certainly stay again next time we are visiting family in the area. Thank you!
