What a place 😍! Laura is the most welcoming host and made us feel so welcome before we even arrived. The Hampshire hut is the perfect place for a little getaway and with two dogs the walks right on the doorstep was just perfect! We enjoying cooking over the fire and made the most of the toasty log burner inside the hut, and despite the colder evenings we’re never cold in the cosy hut ! Just perfect, will definitely be back :) thank you Laura 💫💫💫💫💫

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the French Gypsy Caravan. It was surprisingly spacious and provided everything we needed and more!. There were lots of lovely additional touches, the beds were very comfortable and Paul was always super responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and would definitely return for another stay!

a lovely little shepherd's hut with everything we needed. the main hut was really nicely designed and lovely and warm, even in February. hot water bottles and breakfast were really appreciated touches: the eggs from the farm were delicious. it was a lovely option to have the separate dining hut and made staying with a family so much easier. the dining hut was very cold in February, even with the small stove going full tilt. but also it was February - and we did still use it! in gentler seasons it would be absolutely perfect. Check in was very easy and all tbe local info great. both Petworth (NT) and Leonardslee were very easy and beautiful days out.

This shepherds hut was a great place to stay while walking the South Downs Way. It was very clean, comfortable and warm and has its own bathroom facilities in a separate building. Pauline made me welcome and made sure I had everything I needed. I was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. I'd definitely book to stay here again next time I am in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay in the shepherd’s hut. It was very cosy and pleasant, the amenities were good considering how small the hut is - there is an electric hob with two rings to cook on, toaster, kettle, mini fridge etc. Clean bathroom and a nice shower. The outdoor space is lovely and is well fenced so that our dogs could run about off the lead. As for the location, all of Westerlands is just beautiful and peaceful, we really felt like we were in a different world in a bubble away from the business of normal life! They have lots of extras to do on site such as horse trekking or wild swimming! I met the host Antonia during our stay, at the on-site coffee shop, and she was extremely friendly and pleasant. I would definitely stay again either at this hut or at one of their other lovely properties on site.

This is a beautiful place. We slept so well and loved the views and fresh air. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Mallard Hut for two nights this weekend. When we arrived the hut and surrounding location was even more beautiful as described, the hut was pristine and there was a box full of local goodies and even a birthday banner (the trip booked as a birthday present) hanging up on our arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the outdoor hob tub and bbq were great too. The hosts were also really attentive, checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and provided amenities as we needed them. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and loved our time at the Mallard Hut!

Great place to stay for a 30th birthday celebrations. Lots of space for dinner / drinks and the beach is walking distance (about 40 minutes) what helped as well is the weather was beautiful and the gardens on site are lovely! Great host, introduced himself and offered any assistance.

It was an absolutely fabulous place, perfect to be for a quiet night away, with beautiful walks and a little log burner. Such a lovely place, great communication with Emma too, will be back!

We booked a two night stay and it was so idyllic, peaceful, and cosy. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a cool spot to unwind and chill. The Shepards hut was perfect, right next to the lake and all the lovely wildlife with the wood fired hot tub such a special addition.

Lovely place to relax outside of London. Easy to reach, we felt in peace in this place. Very quiet and well divided 💝 The space inside is small but has everything you need. Nice the breakfast as well 😍 we will definitely come back 😍

A very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings!

We had a wonderful stay here at Michelle’s beautiful home. It was cosy, clean and exactly what we were looking for whilst needing a relaxing break! Michelle’s communication and kindness was outstanding, we look forward to coming back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Such a beautiful place to stay, secluded and peaceful. Jane was a brilliant host and super helpful and friendly. Our dog had the best time ever, and Jane’s dog is the sweetest. Showering outside was so special.

I would highly recommend this shepherd hut for a time out break of peace and tranquility. It is totally private tucked away behind the hedgerows near a quaint little smallholding of sheep with their lambs (very cute) and some playful piglets and free range chickens. The hut oozes character and charm, and has been sympathetically decorated throughout to a high standard. The double bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils you may need. The shower was lovely and hot and all you needed was provided. The environmental compost toilet was awesome and very well thought out. We walked up the road to the cock Inn with the dog and enjoyed a lovely meal. I organised for some eggs and sausages for our breakfast to be dropped at the hut for an extra small charge. They were delicious! The weather was kind to us and we celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary under the stars by the complimentary fire pit. It really was a fabulous experience. Thank you.

We had a lovely one-night stay here. A spur of the moment decision and Emily was very quick at replying and although we didn’t meet her, we felt very welcome. It had all the basics and the bed was comfortable. It was lovely sitting outside in the late evening sun before an easy walk to the pub. I would have happily stayed another night! Thank you Emily.
