It was really lovely to see the Cuckoo Chalet at this tme of year. The Deer would walk through the yard in the morning, and it was like being in observatory. We could eatch the Canda Geese at play on thelake. A wonderful time. The house if so cozy!

Jim and Jo Ellen were responsive hosts. Jim led us back to the cabin and oriented us to the space. The cabin has everything we needed and an AMAZING view. Highly recommend booking a stay if you are in the area.

Bill was hands down the best host I’ve ever had, super down to earth and just an all around great guy and host. We went snowboarding just about all week and had an absolute blast. I would recommend this place to my friends and family any day. Even though our vacation hit a few bumps Bill was extremely accommodating and helpful even though he didn’t have to be. Hoping to come back again next year if he’ll have us. 10/10 would recommend this stay.

Bill was the most amazing host! His property was absolutely beautiful and he was more than hospitable. I travel to West Virginia often and wouldn’t spend my time at another place! My girlfriend and I felt right at home! Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Can’t wait until our next visit!

This was our second time staying at Drennen Ridge! Trish and Mike made sure we had everything we needed before we arrived including age appropriate toys for our toddler and a pack and play for our 4 month old. Our toddler enjoyed spending time outside and we were comfortable throughout our stay. This is a very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings and we hope to stay again sometime!

Our family had a great stay. The place was perfect for what we were looking for - cozy, quiet, secluded and close to different areas for day trips. We added a pantry add on package for 1 breakfast, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner for our 3 day stay. Delicious ingredients and very customizable. Quincy's information provided was very useful, from not relying on GPS or cell service for the last legs of the trip there, to different things to do in the area, to menu suggestions with the pantry add on we opted for. There is no Wifi, it is not listed as an amenity but that is still always hard for me to understand until I see it for myself, no matter how many times I travel to the mountains. My family had more success with their AT&T service than I did with my T-Mobile. We managed just fine with being disconnected while there. Host was proactive before the trip to provide details and ask questions. She was very responsive to questions we sent during our trip and helpful throughout.

Perfect location! Peaceful and surrounded by woods while close enough to drive into Fayetteville and sample all the local restaurants. Colleen was very responsive and able to answer all of our questions.

This was our fourth trip to Marcie’s property and it continues to be our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The surroundings are gorgeous and the house is so cozy and relaxing. The weather wasn’t very cooperative this trip, but not a problem! We spent the days playing pool, playing games in front of the fireplace, reading and watching 4 Nations hockey on the Roku. Total relaxation!! And you couldn’t ask for a better host than Marcie. Responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything you might need. We can’t wait to go back!

Our stay was absolutely AMAZING! The cabin was clean, comfortable and easy to find. The perfect getaway to reconnect with nature and de-stress! We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings listening to birdsong, fishing the river and exploring the area. Mike and Carol really are the best hosts of all time, they were able to tell us all about the property and its incredible history. If you’re on the fence about booking DON’T this is one stay you won’t regret! We wish we could have stayed longer and we are looking forward to staying again soon!

The house was so convenient to New River Gorge NP and Fayetteville. We were able to get to the Visitor Center and a few trails very easily. It was roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. Fayetteville was a really cute town with great food options. I'm glad we chose this location as a stop on the way to Washington DC.

We loved staying at Horsecamp. It was a Beautiful location and pet friendly which is critical to us. The farm animals were super cute and friendly. Every spice and pantry item you could think of so great for cooking. We skiied Timberline and hiked in Canaan valley during the day and both were a breeze to get to. Only about 20 min. Would absolutely stay again!

Great clean place. Very cozy close to my family’s home and very accessible to everything around. Felt very comfortable overall great stay.

Skep home was a advertised and is for any couple who would like to be one with nautre and be lost in wonder!

10 out of 10 place to say if your looking for a couples getaway everything was very pristine and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in that area. Also my wife loved the cute farm animal right in the backyard and the peaceful nights of having a nice fire with the supplied s'mores and the relaxing hot tub if we ever go back we will definitely say in Jennifer's and Kyle's places!!

This cute farm house was great!! We enjoyed our stay and it was plenty of room for us. They had all the necessities and we enjoyed most of our meals there. It was so peaceful and we saw so many animals! The lake and kayaking was fun as well. We would definitely stay again.

We were looking for a peaceful weekend away and this is exactly that!! If you’re looking for a relaxing and refreshing place to stay, this is perfect! There’s also a lot of hiking nearby. The cabin is quaint and has everything you need. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our pup am we enjoyed the horses coming right up to interact with us. The view all around the cabin is exquisite and the star filled sky was so beautiful to see at night with no light pollution. We whole heartedly recommend this place and hope to return ourselves again soon! Emma is also very responsive and accommodating. Very much appreciate her attention to detail, friendliness and helpfulness!

The cabin was exactly as described, was clean, and close to ski slopes and hiking. We had one issue while we were there and the hosts responded quickly to resolve the problem. The hosts were pleasant and easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the cabin.

We loved staying here! A short drive from downtown and lovely and quiet. It was the perfect getaway for the women in my family. Gina was a superb host and we enjoyed the hot tub!

We just had a little family reunion for the weekend. The kids loved the hot tub and the house was big enough for everyone to relax and just spend time together.

Cindy’s place was really great - clean, spacious, super-convenient to everything in Davis, and just really nice.

One of the coolest places I’ve stayed so far! Waterfront activities, ATV trails, and much more, all on the property so you don’t have to worry about getting your group together to go out and do things. Ken was also an amazing host - very responsive, gave lots of suggestions and directions for things to do in the area along with the plethora of cool activities he’s created on the property. Couldn’t have asked for a better get away for me and some friends

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

Michael’s cabin was a great place to host my best friend’s bachelorette party. It offered a peaceful place with tons of fun things to do including the hot tub, a walk to the river, fire pit, board games, movies, pool, foosball, darts, and more. Furthermore, the smart TV allowed us to easily screen share from our phones, making it the perfect way to play personalized games that we had created. The cabin is a short drive from many wonderful restaurants, including the Canary grill, which offered a beautiful view and delicious food for the bride to be and her party. During our trip I was already planning the next time I’d be able to visit with my significant other, as I loved the space and all it had to offer. We had a great stay, thank you Michael!
